Outstanding glamp camp! The details of providing comforts of camping was 5 Star! We are tent/hammock campers but for one night wanted to arrive and just enjoy time relaxing. This was spot on to arrive and enjoy camping. The night lighting was so fun. We found a gem at the speakeasy and comedy club as well.

It was an amazing experience. Not very much cell service. So if you want a peaceful get away it's def the place to be. Lots of land to explore, a fishing pond, and wildcat creek. It's a beautiful sight. Hosts are great. I'll definitely go back. .

Delightful. I would recommend it again. The hosts were quite welcoming and the camper was as cozy as it's name. It is right by Hwy 30, so if you are sensitive to noise, or seeking idyllic country silence, be warned that the sound of big reefers rolling down the highway will reach you at all hours, even though your privacy is well-shielded by trees.

Weekend Trip to Blooming Bus Farms

Gorgeous clamping experience. The water was hot for really nice showers and the tend was lovely. We had such a nice weekend stay. We got to feed and pet the Alpacas, enjoy some farm fresh eggs and just relax.

2 nights at Blooming Bus Farms

We visited in April. The hosts are just the nicest people. Amazingly quick response time to messages. Our site was level and nice sized! Lots of trees. Already has a hammock, small table, firewood for a fee and fire pit all at the site. A bit close to neighbors but we had no leaves on the trees so I think during the summer it would be pretty private!! Driveway in is a bit rough so if your car is very low profile this may be hard but I did see an alternative drive in that is very level so don’t let that stop you. We got to meet and feed the alps as which my daughter loved. Soil is a bit sandy at the site so I used longer metal tent stakes but they held well through high winds, heavy rains and a thunderstorm. The great thing is that if it rains the sand just drains the water so this was a huge bonus. It’s 40 min from Warren Dunes, 19 min to both Notre Dame and Potowatomi Zoo. Very close to gas stations and stores like Walmart also. But felt like you were away from it all. Will be back for sure!!

This is a beautiful piece of property. Earl & Lisa laid it all out very well. The sites are just close enough to the toilet and shower house. The hand/dishwashing station has hot and cold water. It was also easy to access the water station to put water in our container to add to our travel trailer. Subtle solar lighting is a great touch to keep you out of the pond at night and also makes the area look magical at night. Plenty of wildlife to delight the senses, too. We lacked nothing on our first solar-powered camping adventure thanks to the hospitality of our wonderful hosts. We even had a cozy fire ring to enjoy as the deer and The Pink Moon came out. Easy access... CLEAN... SAFE... Relaxing... If you have the chance, you should stay here!

Extremely quiet, beautiful and lots of friendly furry animals. The directions for the RV site were a little hard to follow, but we found it easily enough. The interactive farm map was not very easy to use and since it’s a complex you really need a map. We did pay extra for an alpaca tour and firewood but there was no one there. When we called the host, he didn’t seem to know anything about it and wasn’t there but had his nieces deliver some wood eventually. Had to cook our steaks over a small camp grill instead of the fire because we couldn’t wait any longer. Lots of very friendly kitties to defend dinner from. They almost got our meal at one point. .

Had a great time “glamping” at the blooming bus farm! My fiancé and I came from Chicago for a weekend away and it was perfect. The farm itself is super cute and the campsites are cozy. It rained most of our 2nd day, but we set up a table in the heated tent to play games which was perfect. Definitely recommend for a weekend away!

Perfect warm bungalow for a family of 4! Melissa was quick to respond to any request. Stars were beautiful at night and the site had everything we needed for a couple days unplugged. It got VERY cold at night so another space heater would be nice for winter camping. Heated blankets were incredibly warm and comfortable…kids loved them! Definitely want to come back in the summer to see the blooming bus! Wonderful stay and first winter “glamping” experience with the kids!

It was such a warm welcome coming to Blooming Bus! Melissa was so kind and informative when it came to the animals. We had such a nice stay.

This trip was absolutely lovely. The hosts were very kind, and I loved getting to hang out with the alpacas and dogs. There's just enough trees and brush to make the trip feel decently secluded, but it's close enough to two towns to make groceries, antiquing, and errands easy. There's also some lakes to visit in summer. We went at the end of winter with our cat, and we can't wait to return when all the flowers and leaves are out.

Sleek Acres

Sleek Acres is a total of 13 acres, which includes our homestead, our chicken yard and barn, a fishing pond, and over 8 secluded acres to the back of the property where guests can explore (including walking trails). There are hungry catfish and bass in the pond who are always happy to be fed (we provide the fish food). Fishing is allowed, but catch and release only (under 12"), please! A small group of ducks live on the pond and will happily greet you as you walk to the beach. Relax at the beach in the morning as you enjoy your coffee and watch the fish, ducks, and turtles swim in the pond. Fire rings and picnic tables are provided at each site. A small amount of firewood is provided, and additional firewood is available for purchase. We have two charcoal grills available for your use. We provide a bathhouse, which includes a toilet and shower. A handwash/dishwashing station is located right outside the bathhouse. Our chickens are happy to take any food leftovers you don't want! You can walk right up to the fence and they will greet you. You may also see deer, fox, groundhogs, and many beautiful birds in the camping area. The Hideaway is located on private property in Otis, Indiana. Two canvas tents line our man made, creek fed lake. The lake is over 6 acres and approximately 35 ft deep. The lake is stocked with catfish, bluegill, bass and other fish perfect for fishing. Wildflowers and natural paths are available for walking and scenic photoshoots. The property is near the toll road. Some guests do not notice the noise others have been more sensitive to it. There is space for each site to have privacy, or just a short walk to each if you are booking both. Each site has their own shower, flushing port-o-john, fire pit, dining area.
