We’ve stayed at Sleek Acres twice now and it’s been such an amazing experience. Earl & Lisa are very welcoming and attentive. Their property is beautiful and their dog and ducks are welcoming too. Campsite 1 was where we stayed at. It’s near the other sites as well as the bathroom but it still has privacy to it. We highly recommend camping here!

We loved the open space between sites. The campgrounds were very clean and welcoming. Brian stopped by to introduce himself and welcome us. We arrived early after asking permission so we could hike the 5 miles of trails in the woods. We saw deer, turkey and lots of birds. Great place to relax.

We had an amazing time. Brian was respectful of privacy, but on the spot when called. We had an amazing, quiet, peaceful weekend. The trails were perfect for de-stressing without the mountain climbing. We will be back.

Our campsite was really cute. The hammock was comfy and there was plenty of space. There were campers on site over, but they were far enough that we still felt alone. The night was quiet with no noise in the area. Alpacas in the morning — so cute!!

Outstanding glamp camp! The details of providing comforts of camping was 5 Star! We are tent/hammock campers but for one night wanted to arrive and just enjoy time relaxing. This was spot on to arrive and enjoy camping. The night lighting was so fun. We found a gem at the speakeasy and comedy club as well.

3 nights at Sleek Acres

Delightful. I would recommend it again. The hosts were quite welcoming and the camper was as cozy as it's name. It is right by Hwy 30, so if you are sensitive to noise, or seeking idyllic country silence, be warned that the sound of big reefers rolling down the highway will reach you at all hours, even though your privacy is well-shielded by trees.

Weekend Trip to Blooming Bus Farms

Gorgeous clamping experience. The water was hot for really nice showers and the tend was lovely. We had such a nice weekend stay. We got to feed and pet the Alpacas, enjoy some farm fresh eggs and just relax.

2 nights at Blooming Bus Farms

We visited in April. The hosts are just the nicest people. Amazingly quick response time to messages. Our site was level and nice sized! Lots of trees. Already has a hammock, small table, firewood for a fee and fire pit all at the site. A bit close to neighbors but we had no leaves on the trees so I think during the summer it would be pretty private!! Driveway in is a bit rough so if your car is very low profile this may be hard but I did see an alternative drive in that is very level so don’t let that stop you. We got to meet and feed the alps as which my daughter loved. Soil is a bit sandy at the site so I used longer metal tent stakes but they held well through high winds, heavy rains and a thunderstorm. The great thing is that if it rains the sand just drains the water so this was a huge bonus. It’s 40 min from Warren Dunes, 19 min to both Notre Dame and Potowatomi Zoo. Very close to gas stations and stores like Walmart also. But felt like you were away from it all. Will be back for sure!!

This is a beautiful piece of property. Earl & Lisa laid it all out very well. The sites are just close enough to the toilet and shower house. The hand/dishwashing station has hot and cold water. It was also easy to access the water station to put water in our container to add to our travel trailer. Subtle solar lighting is a great touch to keep you out of the pond at night and also makes the area look magical at night. Plenty of wildlife to delight the senses, too. We lacked nothing on our first solar-powered camping adventure thanks to the hospitality of our wonderful hosts. We even had a cozy fire ring to enjoy as the deer and The Pink Moon came out. Easy access... CLEAN... SAFE... Relaxing... If you have the chance, you should stay here!

Weekend Trip to Heritage Farm Stay Adventure

Extremely quiet, beautiful and lots of friendly furry animals. The directions for the RV site were a little hard to follow, but we found it easily enough. The interactive farm map was not very easy to use and since it’s a complex you really need a map. We did pay extra for an alpaca tour and firewood but there was no one there. When we called the host, he didn’t seem to know anything about it and wasn’t there but had his nieces deliver some wood eventually. Had to cook our steaks over a small camp grill instead of the fire because we couldn’t wait any longer. Lots of very friendly kitties to defend dinner from. They almost got our meal at one point. .

Sleek Acres

Sleek Acres is a total of 13 acres, which includes our homestead, our chicken yard and barn, a fishing pond, and over 8 secluded acres to the back of the property where guests can explore (including walking trails). There are hungry catfish and bass in the pond who are always happy to be fed (we provide the fish food). Fishing is allowed, but catch and release only (under 12"), please! A small group of ducks live on the pond and will happily greet you as you walk to the beach. Relax at the beach in the morning as you enjoy your coffee and watch the fish, ducks, and turtles swim in the pond. Fire rings and picnic tables are provided at each site. A small amount of firewood is provided, and additional firewood is available for purchase. We have two charcoal grills available for your use. We provide a bathhouse, which includes a toilet and shower. A handwash/dishwashing station is located right outside the bathhouse. Our chickens are happy to take any food leftovers you don't want! You can walk right up to the fence and they will greet you. You may also see deer, fox, groundhogs, and many beautiful birds in the camping area. Located central to many destinations, we are 5 minutes from All-Sports Koontz Lake; 10 minutes from Plymouth, plenty of shopping and home of the Blueberry Festival (Labor Day weekend); 10 minutes from Walkerton, home of the Falloween Fest (Sept. 26, 27, 28); 25 minutes from Valparaiso; and 50 minutes from Notre Dame. The property is near the toll road. Some guests do not notice the noise others have been more sensitive to it. The history of the Wabash corridor is almost lost to time. Come get rejuvenated at Morels. Clamping on the Wabash is best suited for adults with a flare for adventure. This romantic clamping site is best suited for the experienced camper. Primitive camping aspects still await you. Be prepared for all weather. Please take the time to look up some the attractions Logansport has to offer; France Park, River side Park, Mississinewa Reservoir in Miami County.
