Enjoy nature and the relaxation of forest camping in our 35’ Rockwood camper, without all the work and setup. Your getaway is ready and waiting for you to enjoy the seclusion of our unique property! Wooded camping spot, lighted sitting area with fire pit including playset/sandbox with toys for the kids. Fire wood provided. Perfect location right in the middle of it all…from enjoying the Amish Country of Middlebury, the Flea Market in Shipshewana to the excitement of a Notre Dame Football 🏈 Our Guests area is specific to the camper, fire-pit area, play area and walking trails. All other areas are private All other areas are private property and the Hosts full time home. Hot tub and work out space may be available by special request. Please let host know if interested and we will discuss upon arrival. Guest takes responsibility and understand the risk of using special request items. When booking guests understand and agree that Host will not be held liable for use of hot tub or exercise area. Pets will be considered on a case by case basis. Due to the limited space in the camper, it is not feasible to house 4 guests plus animals, comfortably. In the situation of 1-2 guests that desire to bring a pet and have a kennel, we will consider approval. Fire pit including firewood , children climbing play set/slide and sandbox with toys for the kids. We offer breakfast options including our Quiche or Frittata paired with a delicious Fall apple salad. Also a selection of baked goods.. homemade bread, cinnamon rolls, scones, muffins, pies and cookies! Ask about our menu and preorder breakfast and treats, fresh baked for your stay Perfect location right in the middle of it all…from enjoying the Amish Country of Middlebury, the Flea Market in Shipshewana to the excitement of a Notre Dame Football 🏈 We are close to many local attractions including 2 miles from Pumpkin Vine trail head for cycling 🚴‍♀️, 15 miles from Shipshewana Flea Market (Tuesday and Wednesday only, May - September), a 41 minute drive from the excitement of touring the historic University of Notre Dame or attending an unforgettable Football , (book early for Football weekends first Home game Sept 13!!) hockey or basketball game. South Bend is also home to a wonderful Children’s zoo. Potowatomi Zoo is only a 33 minute drive ! Middlebury is only a 15 minute drive to Amish Country and enjoy a family style dinner at the Das Dutchman Essenhaus and tour their variety of shops! Nappanee is also a wonderful option for shopping and eats in Amish Country, it is also a short 21 minute drive from our property. There is a hot tub and weight/exercise room located on our property and may be available by special request.
