2 nights at Paradise on Mirror Lake

We stayed at site A two nights, and had a lovely time. The enchanted forest and Sasquatch trail were fun, and the birds on the lake were also a real treat. Nathaniel was attentive and kind!

We loved it! Nathaniel was very quick to respond to all the question I had. The site was amazing and loved the scavenger hunt ! Definitely going back:)

2 nights at Harrison Bluffs Campground

The directions were very clear on how to get there but we easily passed the turn off. I didn’t have any service but was able to get enough service at the end of the road to check the address and saw that rv slots were too far past where I was supposed to be. I turned around and saw the small Hipcamp logos for tenting. I ordered eggs and firewood. Upon arrival the host was there to greet me with the items. Unfortunately there were 2 cars and a hammock hung up in my slot at campsite #1. They didn’t know who they belonged to since we don’t input our license plate number (That would be a great idea for the future) and no one was there. We weren’t supposed to have any camping neighbors on our visit so they weren’t sure if these people were there from the night before or if someone had snuck in. Because they couldn’t figure out whose cars were there we got to pick which ever slot we wanted to camp in because no one else was supposed to be booked during our stay. We chose slot #4 which looked to about double the size of slot #2 and I was actually glad it worked out that way because we had enough room to spread out our tent, bbq and table, our own porta potty and still have room away from the fire pit where we put our chairs. Porta potties are provided later in the season and they do have trash bins. We tied up our 2 small and 1 large dog to the trees to play and set up our hammock. After raining, the small inclined walkway became slippery. This was awesome! I havnt camped in years.

Great experience. Stayed six nights while up in area for deer hunting and visiting friends nearby. All the amenities needed for my stay. Host is very accommodating and quick to reply with any questions. Will stay again when I come back up.

the site was good for a short term stay. It’s graveled, level, water and 50 amp. No dump site. Good views of the ranch and mountains in the distance. Wouldn’t be able to set up the awning and tether it with stakes because of the gravel surface. We were parked next to the garage and provided privacy.

3 nights at Paradise on Mirror Lake

It was great. A nice simple building on the lake. It keeps the weather off of you. It's very simple not power(although they are planning on solar panels next year or so.) It was wonderful to watch the sun go down over the mountain. Fire buckets and a nice fire pit and plenty of dead wood around.

Weekend Trip to B & B Flower Farm Coeur d’ Alene

Accommodating hosts last minute and a beautiful spot, private with no light pollution and a beautiful vista. recommend, as others have said and the hosts too will admit probably, for experienced haulers because you will be backing up a hill. But, the host will be there to assist you. Conveniently located and low road noise. Having a gray water dump was helpful too.

Learn more about this land: This 10 acre parcel is on a south facing slope with a forest of growing trees that are all 12 feet apart. Wildlife like deer, turkeys, and an occasional moose are common. One can walk through the woods or just sit and listen to nature all around. It's a great place for hammock camping! Two miles to the East is Lake Coeur d'Alene with great boating, kayaking, and fishing. Loffs Bay has a public boat ramp and lake access. This is not a good site for RV's! It is great for a jeep/subaru/small SUV. The trees are 12 feet apart and turning around would be difficult with an RV or trailer! The drive/road is shared so all vehicles (2 max) must be pulled off the road and into the designated area. There is a porta-potty very close with a handwashing station and garbage can. Please note there is potable water in the property but not at the sites. These are dry sites without potable water, electricity, sewer hookups or dump. Initial supply of firewood supplied with additional available for purchase at a low reasonable cost. There are other traditional vacation rentals on the property including your hosts home. We are surrounded by tall trees where it is very quiet with the exception of many bird, the distant call of the trains as well as our resident owls. You will find a Lake Pend Oreille is 15 minutes away, Sandpoint is about 10 minutes away with a wonderful swimming beach and Silverwood Theme Park is about 20 minutes. There is lots to do here from fishing and hunting to boating and skiing. Come visit soon!

The lake itself is excellent for fishing, and stocked with Kokanee, Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Cutthroat Trout. The stocking is typically scheduled for the first week of June each year, so if you are an angler, it's best to come after June 7th for the best fishing. Phoenix Rising Ranch

This is a very private and quiet place, more of a sanctuary and not a party place. The only thing you hear is nature, a breeze through the pine trees, the birds, and the creek. This property was and is an organic permaculture farm in the forest. There are two orchards and an organic garden. The water is from a spring. The La Luna cabin is off-grid with an option to plugin if needed. Hot Showers at my cabins are private and outdoors. There's nothing more wonderful than a hot spring-fed shower. The toilets are composting. (No water is wasted here)! Two of the cabins were built from the trees on the property by the first family that lived here in the earlier 1900s. The Birds Nest cabin was originally a tool shed that needed a LOT of Love to be in the condition that it is today. It does have power, running water and wi-fi. There is the option to take an acrylic painting class, banjo, guitar or fiddle lessons, paddleboard lessons, and have a real old-timey campfire with a glass of wine or two with live music performed by our famous Fiddlin Red on the fiddle, banjo, and guitar. Your experience here may change your life forever! We haven't added all the experiential options yet, so if there is something you are interested in please inquire. Every year we make it more and more magical and interesting. It's four miles up a county-maintained dirt road and one mile to a non-motorized lake. I can't see my neighbors, but they are awesome artists and musicians and some of them are off the grid! If you're bringing a pet, they must be on a leash and be quiet pets. If you are bringing a child they also need to be quiet and respectful. I want to keep my neighbors and my other guests happy with a peaceful atmosphere. Thank you!

We do not provide hook-ups but there is a gas station not far from the ranch that provides clean-outs. We provide excellent clean water and an extension cord. We also provide some of the friendliest cutest animals to visit. This is self-check-in so find your clearly marked site and park. You are on a livestock working ranch with well taken care of animals. We will greet you when we are able do so. We purchased this wonderful 40 acre ranch in our retirement years. We had never done ranching or farming before and wanted a new experience with this gift called life. Being long time hard working Alaskans and living the Alaskan Adventure we could see no reason to be in our golden years and not have another adventure. Our many different animals provide us with entertainment and a purpose. Mini Donkeys asking for a bum rub and braying for breakfast always brings a smile. Alpacas, Llamas and Valais Black Nose Sheep, provides us with beautiful rugs from their own fiber that we sell in the Seven Stars Store. The rest of the hats, gloves, blankets and wonderful socks come from Peru. Mini horses that love to be brushed and even have their hair braided all make for an unusual experience.
