Richie was a great host and the shack was cute. The land is just uphill of the host's main house. You don't have to worry about the shared property because he respects your privacy. He said hello to us when we arrived and then we saw him again just before we checked out. It rained each night we stayed here and the shack kept us warm and dry.

We had such a wonderful trip. The farm and campsite are just breathtaking, full of wildflowers and butterflies and the clearest creek. The bathhouse and campsites are so modern and well maintained. Fern gully was a great pick for our family with little kids (definitely bring your jogging stroller). We loved the privacy and the well furnished “tent” which really felt more like a hotel room. I loved how it was just a quick walk to the pavilion for easy dish washing. The weather was gorgeous even in the hottest part of summer, we slept so comfortably in the canvas tent. We can’t wait to come back and I took so many pictures. So happy to have this memory with my kids and husband. The campfire and grills are very nice and much easier to deal with than a traditional camp fire set up.

The cabin is set in a wonderfully secluded spot within the campground. It’s well designed, but still rustic enough to keep you connected to the river out front and the trees all around. This place is ran by kind people that love sharing a very special place.

This is our second stay here and as always we had a blast. River and farm is gorgeous. Bath house is very clean and I love their soap. All the animals are well cared for and on fresh grass. *Be aware that the River House building does have BLACK MOLD everywhere for those of you that are allergic.* it’s in every part of this building structure. If this is an issue, there are other sites and buildings that appeared to be mold free.
