Monday through Friday has a bit of traffic during rush hour periods. Country location offers lots of peaceful charm and parklike atmosphere. We have a brand new public toilet too! And 30 amp hookups with excellent quality well water included. Class A, B and C Rvs and vehicle campers are welcome, we have enough electrical hookups and water for all. Portable fire pit and wood are available too. Outdoor fire area also available next to one space. Plus free range eggs are also available. Supermarket is just 4 miles away. Welcome to our page! Oak Grove Campsite is a beautiful, private campground near Savannah Ga. The campsite is nestled underneath one of our large oaks completed with plenty of room to roam around. Some of the features include a picnic table, large lighted firepit, hammock, wood swing, etc. We also have swings sets and a few other features for the kiddos. Oak Grove Campsite is located approximately 30 min from downtown Savannah and 40 min from Tybee Island. The site has 30/50 amp and clean water hookups. We do not have sever hookups but here is a dump station located 15min from site.

We knew our property was a special place when we found it during our search when we decided to move our alpaca farm from FL to GA. We have raised alpaca for last 17 years. They are a fiber producing animal (similar to sheep) as well as just a beautiful animal, have great personalities and it is amazing to watch the herd dynamics. We have 2 very spoiled donkeys (sister and brother-gelded) - have had them for about 18 years. We are committed to provide the best care possible for our animals and love to educate people about alpacas (and donkeys). There is a large covered deck overlooking the alpaca pastures - come hang out with them. We have a farm store onsite with various items for sale made out of the alpaca fiber (socks, scarves, sweaters, hats, plushies, etc). As part of your stay, we provide a short alpaca farm tour! There is a 2 acre pond on our property which is adjacent to the campsite area separated by a fence. The campsite area is located away from our main house and the alpaca barn. There is a picnic table available. We have a bathroom facility onsite (and in the future a shower) - a short walk from the campsite area. We loved our stay at Whippoorwill Farms! We were only there one night, but definitely would have stayed longer should our schedule have allowed it. We have a three year old and she was in heaven exploring the farm, specifically hanging out with the horses. There was another camper in a spot nearby, but I still felt like we had privacy and more than enough room for our rig/car. Highly recommend!

Steve has a beautiful, big back yard near Savannah ready for a visit. Just 20 minutes from everything you can't find a better place to park your rig if you're in the Savannah area. Easy in and out for any size camper with plenty of space to camp without feeling like you're encroaching on the family. Definitely a great place to stay!

Weekend Trip to Magnolia Hill

I loved tent camping here! Me, a buddy, and my doggo camped under the trees here for 2 nights. The place is great and well taken care of and the host Lorine was a dream Super Host! She let us use her spring water to top off our containers, sprayed the grounds with anti-bug spray, and checked on us occasionally to make sure we needed anything while also giving us a tour of her grounds! Loved sharing stories with you Lorine! Will definitely be back here again.
