We have a super sensitive septic system. We have a small trashcan for any feminine products etc. You have your own parking spot and there is a short 30 foot trail to your yurt. Food and restaurants are very nearby in town and I provide a complete list of all my recommendations.For guests who stay in the Sandcastle, there is an outdoor shower, a pool, Also, a  kitchenette and grill, fridge, sink, and personal fire pit are available for your use.We have an aquaponic pond with koi that feed our hydroponic vegetable garden and multiple bee hives that pollinate everything. We also have many fruit trees on the property. There is a pond for our ducks, and the intracoastal river that is just a walk down the street.Check out is no later than noon.Guests are encouraged to explore the 6 acre property, relax by the pond, on the deck or by the pool. There is also a futon for additional guests.. There is a floor in the dome and both small screen windows and full panel windows for airflow and to keep out bugs. The sandcastle is a "glamping" tent. :-) Because it gets cold in the evenings, we have special insulation in the cooler months to keep you warm, along with duvet and blanket there is also a heater for winter and small ac for summer.  The bathroom is private.  It is VERY IMPORTANT that only toilet paper goes in the toilet. We have a super sensitive septic system. We have a small trashcan for any feminine products etc. You have your own parking spot and there is a short 30 foot trail to your yurt. Food and restaurants are very nearby in town and I provide a complete list of all my recommendations.For guests who stay in the Sandcastle, there is an outdoor shower, a pool, Also, a  kitchenette and grill, fridge, sink, and personal fire pit are available for your use.We have an aquaponic pond with koi that feed our hydroponic vegetable garden and multiple bee hives that pollinate everything. We also have many fruit trees on the property. There is a pond for our ducks, and the intracoastal river that is just a walk down the street.Check out is no later than noon.Guests are encouraged to explore the 6 acre property, relax by the pond, on the deck or by the pool. Unfortunately you just can’t go behind the gates without me.There is access to a outdoor fire pit (wood is available for purchase), the outdoor shower and an outhouse.High-speed internet is provided free of charge. It only works closer to the main house, so you may have to sit outside to access it. Download those movies! There are two grocery stores within a couple of miles away.Our own eggs, honey and vegetables are available for purchase. Price per night does not include breakfast.Other things to noteIf you want to relax in a rural environment and experience a food-based, makers community then this is the place for you.The property has multiple dwellings and many shared spaces. We often host yoga retreats. Please ask us if you would like to know what is happening during your stay.

Weekend Trip to Friendly Fowl Farm
My family stayed two nights at the magnolia site. The site was clean and tent safe, we didn't need a tarp to protect the bottom from small brush or rocks. There was a nice camping toilet that was clean and right on site. Only interacted with host to buy eggs for breakfast but that was our choice, the host was friendly and I'm sure wouldn't mind more interaction if a camper needed it. Love the fact that they are a small farm providing non commercial goods to their community. We felt safe and secure in this site. Remember that this is a working farm and there will be farm noises. Thank you for hosting us.

If I could live here, I would. As it is, I’ll just visit while I can! The IGA is 6 min away but when you’re there it’s 600 miles away. There is wildlife and neighbors. My only complaint is I’ve discovered I’m allergic to no-see-ems and they live here. So strong bug repellent, but if you have a problem with that, camping isn’t for you anyway :D

Great host! Durand helped me back into position at the site. Site is landscaped, neat, clean and peaceful. Friendly horses! Bring some carrots and apples for them and you’ll have two new friends. Entire farm is picture perfect, clean, organized, landscaped. Great night sky to see the stars around the fire pit.

This was our 2nd time there and Durand met us as we arrived and assisted my backing into the spot. This place is a working farm and it's neat, clean, landscaped, and scenic. Our site was ready when we got there and we loved the horses (bring carrots and apples), loved the peace and quiet, and the night sky. We will be back!

We had amazing time tent camping here. We got to meet Steve and April as they brought wood to our campsite when we first arrived and they were very kind and answered all our questions. They told us all about the budding vineyard visible from the campsites and how it will soon support a winery that will be opening next year. We were lucky enough to be able to try a few of their wines and they were all delicious. We'll definitely be coming to visit the winery once it opens up! The camp sites were all well mentioned and felt safe and secluded. There was plenty of firewood available to purchase and the porta potty was clean and centrally located. My wife and I explored the property a bit with our dog and it was very nice. The sunset view of the marsh at the far edge of the property was absolutely gorgeous and it was really cool to be able to walk around the vineyard and check out that area of the campsite. We will definitely be coming back to camp here regularly!

Weekend Trip to Cassabl Farm
Quiet, private and excellent hosts. Great for a guys weekend, family or just to get away and relax. The weather was 70s in the day and 40s at night and the bugs were only out for a couple hours in the morning and in the afternoon. Firewood was dry and well stocked, for 10$ a night. Great place, great hosts, will save the location for future getaways.

Weekend Trip to Cassabl Farm
Even the approach was magical. We crossed the marshlands (while the tide was up after a storm surge and there was a surprising but passable amount of water)... and drove through a tunnel of impressive, mature, well-bearded and ferned live oak trees. Then through the gate and past a young vineyard on the property itself. There were quite a few campsites available on a well-mowed lawn, with plenty of shade. We only ended up with one set of neighbors, though, on this occasion. We also had an opportunity to meet one half of the host couple. He was friendly and accommodating and very excited about his long term plans for the property. I took a walk on the road in the morning; there were acres and acres of forest and salt marsh with hardly anyone living nearby. I would absolutely come back here again.

What a beautiful campsite! It is spacious and well kept with great hookups. We were visiting Parris Island for our nephew's graduation from Marine basic training and this location was very convenient. There are also grocery stores and a lot of restaurants near by. Liz was very accommodating when we asked to have family join us one night for dinner and all were impressed with the campsite. I recommend this site and we hope to visit again.

Weekend Trip to Great Dane Lane
I absolutely loved staying here—it was phenomenal! The hookup is right by the house but still close to the forest, which makes it feel private and safe. The property is very secure, no concerns at all. It’s located down a dirt road near the woods, but even with my Toyota Corolla I had no trouble driving in—never bottomed out or hesitated once. My partner also brought a 20-foot camping trailer with a Bronco and got in easily without needing four-wheel drive. The experience was wonderful overall. The hosts are incredibly kind, hardworking, respectful, and down-to-earth. The location is fantastic—just one hour between two major cities. During our trip we visited 15 islands in 2 days and enjoyed amazing seafood. Truly no complaints here! Highly recommend.
