The water is well water, pure and delicious without chemicals. The cabin is equipped with a full size pool table for our guests enjoyment. The master bedroom offers a comfortable sleigh bed, full bathroom with shower and just outside the bedroom is a comfortable patio to enjoy, complete with table and chairs for two and outdoor fire place. Also available is a twin bed tucked in the corner of the area between the main room and bedroom. For guests wishing to continue their exercise routine, a modern treadmill is available as well. Walk the spacious well landscaped yard with multiple seating venues including a large hammock. When purchased the home was a small non descript cottage with a pole barn in the back field. The campsite itself was beautiful and spacious, perfect for our big group of friends. A very comfortable camping set up. Quite a lot of space in the woods to ourselves and between outhouses, with a large clearing in the middle for kids to enjoy. Kitchen and dining area under the barn is very well equipped. I didn't need to bring any extra cooking or dining equipment. Took us a little time to figure out the hot water in the shower but it does make a difference when it's on. Lots of products and some toilet paper provided. The wooden cabin was a great set up for sleeping. Very well ventilated and little fairy lights for nice ambiance. We took our air mattresses and sheets and it was like a little camp hotel. There is a road nearby but it's completely silent at night and pretty quiet during the day too. Horses on the property make great scenery. All in all clean and well maintained. Would just recommend taking a bath mat for the shower floor and tea towels for the kitchen for maximum comfort. Host was very easy to contact at any point and very helpful.

Absolutely perfect, secluded, with the minimum you might need, but all the necessities you might want. The cabin is super cute and cozy. AC and fans work great on a hottest day, beds are comfortable, all the utensils (spatulas, pots and pans, grill stuff- everything!) Fantastic spot: the pond, the woods, the boats, the campfire … Perfect is the only word needed. PS. Bring plenty of drinking water and a large cooler full of ice :)

Weekend Trip to The Ole Place

We rented the cabin for two days, and my only complaint is that I wish we had more time there. This place was an absolute hidden gem! The peaceful atmosphere was just what we needed — early mornings were filled with the sounds of birds chirping and frogs croaking, which made for the perfect backdrop to sit back and truly unwind. We brought our dog Saidee to celebrate her birthday, and it was such a special experience. She had the best time exploring the property, cruising the pond in the paddle boat, and just enjoying all the open space and fresh air. It’s a memory we’ll always cherish. The scenery around the 3-acre pond was a beautiful touch — so calming and picturesque. We spent time fishing in the stocked pond, which was a relaxing and fun bonus. And at night, being away from the city lights, the stars were absolutely breathtaking. You could see the whole night sky so clearly — it really added to the magic of the place. The cabin had everything we needed and more. It was clean, comfortable, and clearly maintained with care. Randy was a fantastic host — welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful in every detail. You can tell he’s poured a lot of heart into making this place a true escape for his guests. We truly didn’t want to leave and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you, Randy, for sharing this beautiful space with us!

Our family absolutely loved camping on Randy’s land! We stayed in the cabin and it was a nice upgrade from tent camping. Our days were spent fishing and using the cool paddle boats. There are a total of 4 camping spots (2 tent, 2 RV) and the cabin. They are spread out enough to give you plenty of privacy even if it is filled to capacity. There was only one other spot filled while we were there. We had such a great time and cannot wait to go back!
