Couldn’t ask for a better campsite! A true gem of a hipcamp - Private lot in a lovely quiet neighborhood right on the water. Level concrete parking pad, full hookups, incredible view, fantastic fishing, insane wildlife, and even a ridiculously friendly neighborhood cat. We had many dolphin sightings, caught whiting and red drum from the dock, and even were shocked by a river otter one evening while we were enjoying the stunning sunset. To top it all off, the host Tim was so kind and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and book!!

Our space was tidy and the utilities worked great. The only major “issue” we had was finding out how much the train would affect things. Not only are you close to the railroad, you’re close to the crossing so you are getting woken up regularly throughout the night by the train horns. The first night will probably be a bit rough for campers like it was for us and our 1 year old but just keep your white noise machines up high. Overall, a fun and clean place to stay.

Weekend Trip to Vineyard Lake Getaway

It's very peaceful, there was only 1 other rv there the whole time. There was a bonfire on Thanksgiving, I wanted to go, but I didn't get an invite and didn't want to intrude uninvited, as there were other people and I wanted to respect their space and time with family on the holiday. Also the temperature had finally dropped from shorts on the beach to holiday weather, and my heater was acting weird. And I was freezing. That fire was beautiful though, I was quite tempted. Sarah was super responsive to all communication. There was a fire ready to burn when I got there. There was a bathroom in close proximity. The site felt private and cozy. I would recommend staying in her grounds for sure.

One of the BEST sites I’ve found through Hipcamp!!!! There was no shortage of things to do on the property itself, but as other reviews have mentioned, there are plenty of nature activities all within short driving distance. Host was great, facilities had everything I needed and in working order. I will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Blackwater River Camp

Stayed 2 nights. Camping with tents. At the time of this review, there was a drought, so the river was extremely low. Property was very well kept, clean, and a great central location if you don’t want to be too far away from everything. Hopefully next time the rain has raised the river so we could do the full runs, up and down stream. The water was nice and cool, great for the warmer days we had in November. We will definitely be returning. Great site.

This site wins for best views, sunsets, and most accommodating with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, kayaks, private boat launch and dock. Under gorgeous oaks and close to too many destinations to name from Georgia beaches to Jacksonville. Definitely recommend highly
