Great experience, easy to access, clean bathrooms - all conveniences you need. The babbling brook next to the site created a nice sound buffer for the neighboring camp site.

Weekend Trip to Blue Ridge Basecamp

We had a rooftop tent and booking side #5 was perfect for us! The space was very large and the view of the valley, creek and mountains was absolutely stunning. Tja came to greet us in the mourning and was so friendly. The property was extremely clean and well-kept, you can tell the owners really take pride in their beautiful home & grounds. We very much enjoyed our stay here and will absolutely be back when in the area again!

What a peaceful little Valley tucked into the North Carolina mountains, and nestled up against Coweta Creek! Although there are four campsites available, our family occupied two and the rest remained unoccupied, making it very peaceful indeed! Adam and Melissa are very gracious hosts, making our stay even more pleasant. As a bonus, they gifted us with two dozen farm fresh eggs from their chickens! We would highly recommend this site as a great getaway!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect final camping trip in our travel trailer. Patti and Doug were wonderful hosts — Doug even brought an RV conversion adapter to use during our stay and Patti greeted us with delicious cheese and crackers. The site itself is beautiful, spacious, and completely private. Our dogs, Winston and Lila, loved running and sunbathing in the grassy yard. A delightful surprise was seeing Doug’s pottery — he’s extremely talented and it was hard to choose which pieces to take home. My husband and I stayed to celebrate his birthday and our wedding anniversary, and the setting exceeded our expectations. We were even treated to the Lyrid meteor shower and a stunning view of Jupiter and its four largest moons. Patti had a great recommendation to drive along the river in Needmore Rd - 100% did not disappoint! Highly recommend Cave Creek RV Site for anyone seeking a peaceful, well-appointed, and truly memorable stay. Five stars!

It’s hard to understate how idyllic this site is. The host has made a very accommodating space that really makes you feel like you’re lucky to have found it. The view is perfect, as was everything else. A note about the driveway in. As everyone else has stated in the reviews, 4x4 is not optional, especially if you’re pulling a trailer. There’s two switchbacks that if you’re not careful you could get in a sticky situation. I drive a f350 with a crew cab and 8ft bed and haul a 15ft trailer (21ft actual with tongue) I don’t know how anything any longer would make it so heed the warnings.

Wonderful! Beautiful! Quite! Private! We had the best stay here!! The site is near the road, but the traffic is so minimal it's not a problem at all. It's tucked up to the side of the mountain. You can here the creek from the site! There is a rather large area to utilize. The pottery barn was fun to peruse, we took a few pieces with us. Doug does beautiful work. The property is very near the Little Tennessee River. We went multiple times. It's also about an hour from Cherokee, the South entrance to the Smokey Mountain Parkway, as well as the Smokey Mountains National Park. Just south is Highlands, where there are many waterfalls to explore. There's an endless number of things to do in this area! As great as the site is, the hosts are even better!! Two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Very accommodating, very concerned that there guests have what they need, including privacy. We'll be going back to see Patti & Doug! We have a 30' class C. I'm relatively new to RV life, and am not accustomed to the quick elevation, curvy mountain roads. I found the Tellico Bridge Road was a little more comfortable than Iolta Church Road. I had no problem with the driveway or parking spot. I was able to turn around on the upper level without any problems. It might be a little tight for larger rigs. The hookups are great too. 50amp, extra long hose already hooked up & available for use. Our cat & dog enjoyed being offleash & loved our hosts too!! ❤️

Friendly host. Clear instructions. Very clean port-a-john available at the bottom of the hill. We stayed at spot 1. If you have a dog I’d probably recommend any site except for this once since this is the only one with direct view of the hosts yard and my dog really wanted to play with theirs 😂. But other than that a great little stop on our trip!
