Weekend Trip to RVing Or Trailer At Outdoor Resorts

Very nice and comfortable spot. Easy access to both the beach and river. Access to 3 pools was great especially the beach one. This is the first trip without any mosquito bites which is a WIN for me personally. No bugs, no noise. Just a relaxing weekend well spent. Dogs had a great time relaxing too. Anthony was a great host. We will definitely be back soon.

This Hipcamp was just what we needed. A place to plug in and leave our rig for 2 nights. No issues maneuvering our fifth wheel into the spot and ground was pretty level. We also had no problem locating the electrical and water spout. All good!

Quite and level! My whole family really enjoyed our week here. Our host was responsive and friendly, and was often outside working on her land or attending to the horses. The kids enjoyed the pool, while I liked to watch the horses. We did go to Orlando a few times for shopping and a water park.

We really enjoyed staying at Lee's hip camp. It is less than an hour drive into the Orlando theme parks. Being there feels like a little country oasis amongst The condo sprawl around Orlando. The neighbors have horses. A grocery store is a short drive away. Lee is a very nice man. He helped us back into the campsite and even offered to help us set up camp. Next time we want to do the Orlando theme parks this is where we will stay.

Great awesome resort. Very clean and lots to do there. We also loved the location. We wanted to stay an extra night and Anthony was able To accommodate us. Everything worked great at the site. Could use a little spruce up though as all the sites around are really neat but it worked out.

The resort is really lovely. Walk to the sunset on the river and the sunrise on the beach. 3 pools, hot tub, post office, laundry, all on site. Great place to ride your bike around the park. Everyone in the park was very friendly. Our only issue was poor communication which could have been avoided by providing us with another resident's contact info. Anthony was out of the country and our check in was not smooth. Keys and access card were easy, but we needed BOTH gates to open so we could drive our truck and RV through. The access card only opened one gate. Office was closed and no local contact phone number given. We got in after 45 minutes only because a food truck was coming and someone opened both gates for them and us.

Weekend Trip to Valhalla Prairie Farm

My husband and I loved our first time stay here. We will definitely be back!!! We had the whole place a to ourselves saw some wildlife, saw some stars, and their neighbors cat and dogs came to keep us company. !!! It was great to have a toilet and outdoor shower. Had the best sleep just being lulled by the sounds of nature. Also just 10 min from Kissimmee Prairie State Park.

Joe and his wife were wonderful hosts—so welcoming and excited to share their little piece of paradise with us. The campsite had easy access to sewer, water, and electricity, making our stay hassle-free. We also loved the picnic table and the beautifully crafted fire pit, which made for cozy evenings under the stars. Our kids had a great time fishing, which made the trip even more special for our family. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the spot. We will definitely be back!

ACTIVITIES: We have chickens that lay eggs and are great for eating so if you'd like some fresh eggs, feel free to go over to their house and grab some. We have a Pavillion with a fire pit that is welcomed to be used. Our dock provides a look out on our pond. Please feed the fish some food if you'd like. Also, take time to fish in our pond and catch some tilapia or blue gill. The kids have a blast fishing as the fish are easy to catch. THE SPACE: The site you'll be staying at is close to the owners house. There are 2 parking spots on asphalt that are available for the campers vehicles or park directly at your site. The ground will be grass that the camper will park on. Please note: we have 2 gates with gate codes that shut automatically. Please be sure each gate closes behind you! We have free roaming cattle and other farm animals outside the camping area. We are always open to recommendations on how we can make your stay even better! During certain times of the year and certain times of the day, there are a million bugs! We stay inside during these times. We are 25 minutes from Okeechobee City, the bass fishing capital of the world, 45 minutes to Fort Pierce, & 35 miles from Sebring International Raceway. The Kissimmee Prairie State Park is very close by. The prairie is the darkest part of Florida. Astronomers, bring your telescopes and cameras to capture the night. You will possibly see cows, bobcats, wild turkeys, wild pigs, armadillos, birds, or the neighbors dogs might show up. Don’t worry, they are quite friendly. We have a 50 amp RV Hookup with NO septic and plenty of space for primitive camping. Bring your horse, but there is no paddock or barn. The storage building on the premises is not part of the rental, please leave it alone. There is electricity and non-potable water. The water is safe for teeth brushing, washing dishes, and showering, but it does have a very strong smell of sulfur. There is an outhouse. Please use it sparingly & only flush toilet paper provided. There is an outside sink, an outside shower with no privacy, a picnic table and a fire pit. If you come with your RV, please use your RV toilet. There will be a major fine for any septic dumping. 1/3 of the land is cleared and 2/3 is full of mature oak trees and trails. It is fenced with barbed wire fencing. Please keep your food trash in your cars & take it with you. You do not want to attract predators. You can recycle, or throw away any trash that is not related to food in the garbage can. Keep an eye on your small dogs. There are also snakes and predatory birds. It is hard with words to describe the beauty of this property, so please check out the pictures. Happy Camping!
