What a beautiful place they put together! We’ve been all over with our RV and this is one of the best places we’ve stayed in! It’s so peaceful and quiet, easily accessible, super clean and level! The bath house is a great extra! For a small fee we were able to shower and use a real toilet. Neil‘s nest has a very nice small campground. She has three sites that are full hook up and very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay and if you go there, you will see that she puts a lot of effort and making this campground and enjoyable family friendly place. she has all the commodities of a large campground with the exception to a swimming pool. She does not have that but otherwise I would highly recommend there and we would stay there again.

We were ready to plan a return trip before even leaving. Owners and staff are very cordial and genuinely helpful. Beautiful old Florida on the river. The clubhouse is a perfect, cozy spot for the entire family to enjoy when the weather isn’t cooperating. One of our new favorites!

Weekend Trip to Lochloosa Creek Hideaway + Biking

We just had an amazing stay on Brandon's beautiful property! From start to finish Brandon was attentive and accommodating. The property was beautiful! It backs right up to a tree covered and paved bike trail which was so much fun to ride! We used our ebikes but he had 2 bikes for our adult friends and even went out of his was to get a child's bike for their 10 yr old! We also visited Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings State Park which was so interesting. We shook tangerines and oranges from the trees stayed for the fascinating tour of her home. We took full advantage of his big smoker and had great food, built fires and toasted marshmallows! If you are on the fence about this property, dont be. Go! You will love it. ❤️

The location is great! Very neat and tidy grounds. A nice community area with a fire pit basketball hoop badminton nicely lit at night. The bathroom was nice. The bathroom was nice except for they don’t supply toilet paper, hand soap or a towel towels dry your hands so bring your own stuff in there. Otherwise the shower was nice. There is a washer and dryer there. We didn’t use it. There’s an extra fee to use it. There’s only four sites. It’s a nice private area. It’s a large fenced area with a gate and you need a gate code to get in. All in all I would recommend Neal’s nest and we would stay there again if ever in the area. Also I wanted to mention a restaurant close by called Off The Beet. They have extremely delicious food. I believe it’s in Trenton.

A great place to camp plenty of things to do near by . Property backs right up to the historic hawthorn trail a paved trail that replaced an old train track.excellent for hiking and biking. Not to far from silver springs and st Augustine. Brandon and his wife were nice and helpful.definitely recommend.we plan on going back

We stopped here last minute on a through trip and it was a great location just off highway so we didn’t have to go far off our route. However it was secluded and gated property! Very clean and setup easy. Host was very responsive and welcoming!

3 nights at Neal’s Nest

We loved it at Nealsnest! It wasn't a planned stop but glad we did. Stayed 3 nights in our RV. Quiet and peaceful with tall trees all around the property. Less than 30 min to Cedar Key and beach. I had to work, so set up my laptop on a nearby picnic table for a few hours. Also love the astroturf next to the RV site and badminton court. It may not be natural, but it feels great stepping out onto it and is visually appealing amongst the dry sandy ground. Only a handful of sites, but plans for more are in the works. It's a perfect setting. Owners live on the adjacent property. Tina was very responsive and greeted us when we arrived and later checked in to make sure all was good. Also can't beat the price. I'm sure it won't stay that way as they expand and become more well-known. Highly recommend!
