An "Old Florida" vibe in Florida's Manatee Capitol of Crystal River. The property is private, yet just minutes from stores, restaurants and the water. The cabin is located on private property with owners and security on site, yet plenty of privacy. Your cabin is fully supplied with bedding, towels, refrigerator, coffee pot, cups and silverware, AC in the summer months, and an electric fireplace in the wintertime. On site is our own Bistro Barn fully furnished with a refrigerator, gas grill, charcoal grill, silverware and all the pots and pans you may be looking for. It's a great little hang out area with bluetooth speaker setup. Outside you will find a firepit as well as a charcoal grill, a table for eating, a hammock, and a swing chair. The outside shower house is on the primitive side and made for the adventure type. It is equipped with a portable toilet and shower under the stars. It is hooked up with instant hot water. During the day, paddle your way to the beautiful Three Sisters Springs for a swim. You may see some manatee or dolphins on your way there. Hunter Springs is a great little park with a beach area for swimming and kayak rentals too. There are also several Diving with the Manatee tours available. One we suggest in town is Fun2Dive. These are all only a short drive away. You can enjoy swimming, fishing, scalloping, snorkeling, kayaking, pontooning just five minutes away, or just relaxing back at camp fireside. Heritage Village is in town filled with many hometown eateries and shoppes. It's a great way to spend the afternoon and explore downtown Crystal River. We have a variety of great one-of-a-kind eateries with many special events and festivals throughout the year. Conveniently located at the end of the street is a Publix, DG, a Mexican restaurant, and Beef O'Brady's. Weekend Trip to Riverside Retreat

We had a great time. We had our dog with us which is always a bonus. Our hosts helped us with whatever we needed and addressed any concerns we had quickly and attentively. We came for the river access and enjoyed it very much. Though they live nearby and there was another family renting another RV, it felt pretty private. We enjoyed the treehouse spot, the fishing dock, and the comfort of the RV at the end of each night. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks again!

This was a great experience for my boyfriend and I. As a nurse i prioritize peace and self care off the clock.....this property was definitely peaceful in a surrounding of nature that influences self care. Dawns land was full of greenery, she organized rental spaces to prioritize privacy. Our rental space was clean and organized. Easily to become a romantic setting for any couple. Bathroom was very clean and cute! Dawn herself was a welcoming and down to earth personality, which is refreshing. So detailed with around the area activities and food. We did not get to use the hot tub (we forgot about it) but I can garentee that would've been just as impressive. I plan to rent again! Thanks Dawn!!!!♡

Weekend Trip to Riverside Retreat

Ou weekend trip to the area went perfect. There was very litte we need to leave for. There was great fishing spot for my children. Kyake use was included. Several grills to chose from even an area for projecting a movie. RV was well maintained and fully stocked in case you forget your own stuff. We really enjoyed ourselves and thank the Host for greeting us.

2 nights at Riverside Retreat

This was an awesome experience for my husband, myself and two grandsons aged 12 & 13. We live in SW Florida and love to camp. I stumbled across this amazing property on Hipcamp. It was like camping in the best possible place in Florida. A very comfortable RV that slept the four of us quite comfortably. Very well equipped kitchen but no oven. The best part was outside. The property sits right on the Withlacoochee River and kayaks are included so my grandsons were able to master the art of paddling while we were there. The rest of the time they were fishing and every time they cast their lines, they would have a blue gill on their hook within five minutes, we counted at least thirty fish between them. They have dartboards, toys, fire pits, beautiful lighting at night. This would be a great place for a family reunion or a group of friends if they like the outdoor life. Sandra and her husband were awesome hosts. We plan on going back soon.

Dawn and her family have created an oasis that will rejuvenate and renew your spirit. The gardens are radiant, the tent and restroom was tastefully decorated and all the amenities of a hotel are available - the towels were so soft and the bed was so comfortable! Best part is the hospitality offered by the host who made you feel very welcomed. I will be coming back as my get away retreat.

Secluded yet minutes away from restaurants and stores. Very cute cabin with so many amenities provided. Stayed at the cabin closest to her house but it still felt private. Host was great and offered many extras.
