Located near I-75 just 20 miles South of Tampa, 35 miles east of Saint Petersburg, 35 miles North of Sarasota, 2 hours West of Orlando. This property is home to a farm/nursery operation and has a large pond on the west side. The pond is Spring-fed at the headwaters of Marsh Branch Creek which begins at our property and flows West about five miles in to Tampa Bay. Approximately 33 private acres allows for plenty of space between our campsites. Property is home to a farm with hundreds of fruit trees- Lychee, Mango, Starfruit, Papaya, Guava). Red Mombin, and thousands of banana plants. Fishing can be great, wildlife and bird watching too. Fenced and gated for safety, this old historic nursery property has good vibes and plenty to offer. Until you see it - you really may not understand. Parts of property are wide open, other areas are rugged and difficult to walk through including some wetland areas. The nursery has plenty of trees, and some fields -the large pond is surrounded by cattails and marsh/wetlands and has fish (Bass, Tilapia, Sunfish, Catfish). If you are looking for a full farm-to-table experience, Buckingham Farms is 20 minutes from us and is a 85-acre farm with fresh produce grown hydroponically! We are also about 20 minutes from 31 Produce/Cracker Shack Cafe which is a local U-Pick farm that has seasonal fruits/vegetables available, as well as a restaurant, farm animals, and "gem mining"! With just a 1 to 2-minute drive, we have two parks, Nalle Grade Park and Pop Ash Creek Preserve, for those who enjoy nature walks, fishing, or birding. There are also a handful of other nature preserves and parks in the local area that are around a 20 to 25-minute drive! Kelli’s land truly exceeded my expectations. What stood out the most was how peaceful and spacious everything felt. The little house and the entire property have beautiful details that reflect so much love in every corner. We ended up on site 6 from site 5 but also used the dock site the first night, the host was very accommodating and checked in once or twice a day on his bike or vehicle. The water was nice to sit on and troll for fish with my kayak and the ground was very clean, the site numbers are hard to figure out bc the numbers are small but again accommodating enough to figure out. A little cramped when exiting with a diesel truck so slow is best to avoid hitting the top of camper with softer low limbs. Also my GPS took me through the neighborhood next door to reach the mailboxes where I ended up at the back gate, just follow the pond around and you will wind up on the road with the mailboxes.

We were looking for a bit of green space close to home to unwind for the weekend, and this spot worked out nicely for that. It was easy to get to and had a peaceful feel once we settled in. You can hear some road noise in the background, but overall it was a nice, simple getaway and just what we needed to take a little break.

The campsites however primitive has some real nice extras, like cafe lights in the trees, near by bath house. A huge plus was bringing an extension cord to access electricity at a nearby cabin outlet. Also a great variety of livestock to watch for entertainment.

Weekend Trip to Serenity Acres Glamping Retreat

What a mesmerizing weekend get away. I'll start by saying that A.J was very responsive to all my questions (and I had many); he was very informative and understanding to all my concerns before getting into the property. The place was just so beautiful and peaceful that we decided not to leave the property at all. We walked around and found a nice pond with a "teenage" alligator; we named him "Mr lonely" because well, he was lonely... lol During the morning, we woke up early to see the sunrise, cooked breakfast in the grill, and sat in the hammocks enjoying the lovely scenery and tranquil atmosphere that this place brings. During afternoon hours, we walked around exploring the property; we saw wild rabbits, possums, beautiful butterflies, and of course, “Mr. Lonely; we sat by the pond for a while enjoying the beauty of nature. In the evening, we cooked dinner, sat by the fire pit, made s'mores, enjoyed the clear skies and the weather. Lastly, our dog was in heaven! He ran and wondered around all over the place. We will definitely be back to this lovey unique place.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hidden Oak Hideaway on Halloween weekend this year, and it was magical! Jessica is an amazing host, and so responsive and helpful. The attention to detail in this place is unmatched, from the coffee/tea setup, to the fully stocked kitchen area, to the cozy bed with a fan included, Jessica put so much effort into making this place comfortable. The decor inside is beautiful and aesthetically appealing to say the least. It was a wonderful getaway and I would love to go back someday. Thanks again Jessica and Donny!

We love camping here, it's so peaceful and quiet. It was lovely watching Oakley and Willow their two horses from our tent, and then being able to pet them. It was unusually cold for the time of year we stayed, and the hosts offered us blankets and jackets, which we really appreciated This was our second stay here and and we will be back again in the future. .

I had a great night of camping at Taylor and Beth place. It was easy to find, quiet, and well maintained. Many big trees for shade. Electric and water hookup worked without any issue. The horses were cool. And flush toilet and hot showers always a plus! It’s about 25 minutes to the Venice dog beach which is a little drive but totally worth it according to my dogs.
