One day our daughter was on the beach playing and found a Blue Crap:)
she got a little to close and Mr. Crab chased her snapping his claws, she ran laughing and screaming, it was so much fun!
We had such a great time and shortly after we were blessed to be able to purchase this beach front lot that is now called The Crab Claw'.

My wife and I stayed on this very spot in January 2020 and fell in LOVE with it! Being relative newbies to RVing, we wanted something private but also wanted a beach front vacation without spending 5K for a house. So, we decided to start searching. Turns out, there isn't a whole lot of RV hookup spots right on the beach. But, we ran across this lovely privately owned gulf front lot on Cape San Blas in Florida and stayed for a week that January. We loved it so much we tried to book it again in May of that year, but it was of course booked the entire month. So, we booked another spot and headed to the cape in May anyway. We wanted to see our favorite spot again, so we drove by one day and low and behold, it was for sale. We couldn't pass up an opportunity to own something we fell in love with so quickly, so we took the jump, and bought it! And now, we can share it with all of you. Treat yourself to a beach front vacation in your own "home" and enjoy the journey friends. You only live once!

I loved camping at this location. First, I travel with my dog. So, the fenced in yard on three sides was nice. It was open and spacious. Plenty of space for larger RVs. Mine is a small teardrop and the lot could have held a much larger RV. The hookups were easy to use. and on the right side of the lot. So, you back your RV into the spot. Then, you have lots of space in front of your RV for set up of tents, TV, grill, etc. Now, let's talk about 'why' you would choose this spot. It is a very short walk to the beach. I made that walk three or four times a day. I went in November. So, the beach was empty and the weather perfect for both football and relaxing. Plus, Shipwreck Raw Bar is close if you want to eat out instead of grilling. I will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful sunrise!!!! This camp is everything it says. 5 miles to amenities, and you have the whole place to yourself. Aside from a little traffic noise in the evening can’t beat it.

Good hookups, and there's 120v at the meter too.
Really enjoyed the space. 6 nights went so fast!

We loved our stay here. My husband's favorite part was the pier for fishing. Mine was the sunrise view.
It is on a hwy but the noise wasn't bad. Everything else about this site makes it worth it.

We love the beach & being able to stay so close to it in our RV with our pets & with privacy was awesome. Wonderful, spot. Crazily enough, this was our first time using all of the full hookup options, for we have been basically boon docking for a year, so you can imagine just how awesome it was to have all of those things accessible. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood on our bicycles, pedaling to Shipwreck for a delicious lunch and even exploring the beautiful Veterans Park just a short distance away & best yet, having such close beach access within a short walking distance. At night, we used the fishing cleaning table as our cooking spot & then enjoyed our meals outside under the stars.
The only thing we have to complain about has nothing to do with our camp site, it was just so sad to be at the beach during a red tide. We’ve heard about them, but never experienced one first hand. We walked the beach on the days we were there, but did not get to swim or put our feet in the ocean, due to the abundance of dead fish and sea creatures floating and laying dead onshore. The town came by daily to rake them up, and on our last day, sadly there was enough to fill a dump truck. :(
We hope to return some day and get that ocean swim & this place would definitely be a repeat place to stay. Thanks for sharing your peace of beach life with us.

This is a beautiful place to unwind. I loved sitting on the dock for sunset and sunrise. I saw two dolphins and a manatee.
The set up is cozy and private.
