Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path. This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you. We allow campfires. Don't be surprised if you see a monkey or two in the trees... The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit. We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. We had an amazing stay. The property was quiet with giant shaded trees and unbelievable stars at night. Our teens even swam in the spring even though it was too cold outside, then ran to the lodge for a hot shower. We loved sitting by the spring on the dock and with our feet dangling over the edge, and wished we had brought floats or our inflatable paddle board. The canvas tent was huge and comfortable, with shelves, heaters, a picnic table on the deck, and a bathroom attached outside. Just note the shower there is cold water only. The three canvas tents overlooking the spring are close together, so we were glad our friends rented the tent beside us. There were also lots of great tent-camping spots, and the old grist mill building looked like an awesome future option. The river/creek was too low to kayak or fish, but we enjoyed exploring the property. The sand boil was one of the coolest things we’ve ever seen. Make sure you find it. The kids sank almost to their chests, the sand was exfoliating, and we were completely mesmerized. Perry was very accessible and helpful with all our questions before the stay. Fantastic spot.

1 night at The Olde salt Springs Camp

We had a great time at the cabin and our dogs did too! We decided to come out for some star gazing and it was fantastic! We worried about canopy coverage being in the forest but there is enough of a clearing around the house from trees for a wonderful view of the sky and caught a bit of the orionids shower. The light pollution is minimal compared to most the rest of the state unless you go into Kissimmee Prairie National Park, but we really appreciated having the private fenced in space for our 2 dogs. The beds are comfortable, the ac works well and the fans in the bedrooms were very appreciated. Having to walk outside to get to the bathroom helps you feel like your still camping but the bathroom was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using the firepit to make dinner and loved to disconnect for a while. The DVD collection was great and we would love to camp here again in the future. Thanks Hope!

Our stay at the Olde Salt Spring Cabin was everything we were looking for, and we’re so grateful we found it. The cabin was spotless and welcoming, with fresh sheets on the beds and a cozy, homey feel. We loved being able to cook our own meals, and the thoughtful touches — like the collection of DVDs — made it even more enjoyable. Our daughter had the best time exploring the outdoors, and our dogs loved having the freedom to run around the big open space. It was peaceful and family-friendly, but also convenient with a Dollar General just 7 minutes away. We even had perfect cell service, so we felt tucked away in nature without being completely disconnected. Thank you immensely for providing the cabin with everything we could possibly need. It truly felt like the perfect glamping experience, and we’d love to come back again!

Without an internet connection and without a cell phone, it's a perfect opportunity to detox from social media and enjoy nature. Never heard any neighbor, super quiet, very nice town, everybody was super nice and respectful definitely going to be renting again

What a gorgeous property! The cabin is so beautifully decorated. I can appreciate the thrifted lifestyle. The cabin was spacious and well stocked. The directions Hope gave us were very clear and the area surrounding makes you feel like your not in Florida anymore. We went to Juniper Springs, 25 minutes away, and they don't require a reservation For those wanting to visit the springs (Silver Glen, Alexander, Rainbow, or Blue) between May 1st and Labor Day, you need a reservation in order to get into the park. Reservations are around $20/vehicle and approx $14/person in addition. *Cactus Jacks bar and grille is permanently closed* however, I would highly recommend Maxines Kountry Cafe. I've heard great things about Gator Joe's Beach Bar and Grill. Lots of hole-in-the-wall bars and cafes within 30 minutes of the cabin! We will most definitely be back :)

We absolutely loved this wonderful piece of Old Florida. So peaceful, beautiful and interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring tracks with the dogs and looking for animals. We saw many deer tracks but no deer, perhaps next time. The tent was extremely spacious and our view from the deck over the spring was wonderful. Cold showers at this time of year we're most welcome.

I recently had the pleasure of using Hi-Camp for my first camping experience, and it was truly exceptional! Kennedy and Kristina were outstanding hosts, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Kennedy, in particular, graciously waited for us to arrive well past our scheduled check-in time, providing us with a warm welcome and a comprehensive tour of the campsite. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the lake waves was just what I needed to unwind. I couldn't have asked for a better getaway experience. I highly recommend Kennedy’s Land to anyone looking for a serene escape into nature!

This is a great spot! Incredibly relaxing and full of fresh air. I loved laying out on the deck, fishing, and having a safe place to spend the night with nature on the other side of the door. The site comes plenty of amenities (hot shower, window AC units, indoor plumbing, stovetop burners, microwave, and fridge among other things). The owners have done a great job decorating the place, making functional and comfortable living spaces, and are just genuinely nice and sweet people. I had a great time and will be back!

Nice quick getaway spot! Booked at the last minute and we had a great time. The tents were spacious and have private bathrooms with flushing toilet and shower for each spot. 4 outlets inside and a small lamp. The deck overlooking the spring was so nice in the evenings just to sit and unwind. We went for a walk down the trail but we couldn't find the sand boil which was disappointing. The trail is a little rough but it's marked by orange flags. I'm pretty sure we were in the right area just couldn't find it. Anyway swimming in the spring was lovely and refreshing on a hot day. My goal was just to get away and absorb some peace and quiet which I definitely did. Dollar general located really close but Perry had firewood for sale on site. Overall great experience!
