Our property is 15 minutes South, from I75, 10 minutes from any restaurant or publix. We are a 2 mile drive down a dirt road, through the state forest. We offer 2-3 acres of a choose your own spot camping area. Located within the Picayune Strand State Forest, full of peace and quiet, and plenty of birds. We have a facility building that runs off a generator for running water. With that, we have a washroom, that consists of a large shower, and 2 bathroom stalls. we have then propane heated hot water for a nice hot shower. The sites are very " free range". Nothing that is too designated, so you have a free choice of where to pitch your tent, or park your camper van, or your RV.
Come and stay within the Evergaldes in Naples, of SWFL. A special private place like no other. You may have the place all to yourself, or share with others. It is not populated like other campgrounds.
The property is a designated farm, and we do have chickens.
Day time check-in is 100% recommended.

You can view our palms at all stages of growth from seed to maturity. Enjoy our U-pick varieties of mangos, Caribbean cherries, sugar cane, bananas, coconuts and we’re adding more all the time. There is even a sugarcane maze and bamboo gardens in progress for the kids and adults to enjoy. But don’t forget your veggies! Get up close and personal with where some of your medicines and vegetables come from. We have some small areas for education about different medicinal plants like Turmeric, ginger, saw palmetto and a few others. Take the tours or classes or just sit back and enjoy the view! This is a working piece of land where simplicity meets intention. Chickens, turkeys, and the occasional woodpecker roam freely or call from the trees. A mini donkey, mini goats, and their babies (when around) live in nearby paddocks and love attention—so be sure to bring some carrots. Our property is 15 minutes South, from I75, 10 minutes from any restaurant or publix. We are a 2 mile drive down a dirt road, through the state forest. We offer 2-3 acres of a choose your own spot camping area. Located within the Picayune Strand State Forest, full of peace and quiet, and plenty of birds. We have a facility building that runs off a generator for running water. With that, we have a washroom, that consists of a large shower, and 2 bathroom stalls. we have then propane heated hot water for a nice hot shower. The sites are very " free range". Nothing that is too designated, so you have a free choice of where to pitch your tent, or park your camper van, or your RV.
Come and stay within the Evergaldes in Naples, of SWFL. A special private place like no other. You may have the place all to yourself, or share with others. It is not populated like other campgrounds.
The property is a designated farm, and we do have chickens.

I enjoyed my time here. The nights were peaceful and Ted was great. What caught my eye was the wonderful tent camping price which is the lowest in the surrounding area. Ted said that’s why he set the price at what he did. I really admire and respect people who think like that. It can make traveling and camping more accessible to people.

Weekend Trip to Blue Fox Ranch: Lake & Farm Camp
Luiz was an excellent host! We stayed at Site 2 with full RV hookups and had a fantastic experience. The property is beautiful, and the animals around the ranch make it a peaceful and unique getaway. Luiz was very welcoming and great to talk with whenever we saw him around the property. He even took the time to show us different parts of the ranch and other camping spots.
Our group was also hog hunting at Chappy’s Outfitters, only about 3 miles away, which made the location perfect for going back and forth. Both experiences were great. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Brittany's place was beautiful and the perfect place for me to stay in my camper while in Fort Myers. It is conveniently located within a few minutes of I-75, but far enough from the to not be disturbed by highway noise. I love that North Fort Myers still has so much natural beauty to it. I had an easy drive into Fort Myers but enjoyed being able to camp in a beautiful, quiet place.

What makes Under the Palms particularly special are the hosts, Sylvia and Mike. I received an introductory text from Sylvia the day before my check in. That opened up the communication channel and eliminated thoughts like am I expected, will someone be there, are there going to be any surprises?. I was greeted upon arriving and asked what my interests are and was provided with guidance on places to go and things to see and do in the area tailored to my interests.
Under the Palms is handily located near Manasota Key know for it's beautiful beaches. A unique (to me) beach activity is the hunting and collecting of petrified shark's teeth. I particularly enjoyed going to Blind Pass Beach on Manasota Key where I was able to build my petrified shark tooth collection.
Under the Palms is also located within walking distance of the Dearborn historic district of Englewood. Here you will find various restaurants and cafes some with live music. On Thursdays there are 3 Farmer's Markets close to each other in the Dearborn Street district. I was able to leave my van at the Hipcamp site and walk to the markets avoiding the parking challenge. Best of all, Sylvia and Mike run a booth with breakfast and traditional German food specialties. Their booth is called "German Snack Bar". As you walk west on Dearborn Street they are in the second Farmer's Market on the right. I sampled a variety of things off of their menu. I enjoyed everything I had and it was apparent to me that they both pay p

Trina was very helpful and provide generous information about the site and what it offered. Though situated in a rural setting, it was just minutes away from the small town of LaBelle.
