Brian has a piece of heaven and offers it to anyone that wants to enjoy tranquil nature with beautiful views. I am definitely coming back again to spend more time enjoying the simpler life and peace and quiet that surrounds his place. There are cattle nearby and you can hear them mooing along with other animals and birds in the woods. If you’re looking for rustic tranquility this is definitely a great spot for it. Lady is Brian’s dog and she was such a loving animal, she played and played with our dog Becky for what seemed like an hour but actually was maybe 30 minutes :). I’ve been to several places where I would not recommend because of one thing or another but this place was so easy and felt safe I got probably the best rest I’ve had in years. All our thoughts and troubles went away as we enjoyed the sounds of nature knowing that Brian was there if we needed anything. Two thumbs up 👍 👍. We all need to have a special “go to place “ to get away and this definitely clicks all the boxes for us. May God bless Brian and keep his place open for us to enjoy for many years to come.

This was my second trip here with my granddaughter this year. We absolutely love it here. We just love the idea of camping with free roaming horses and donkeys. My granddaughter spends most of the day walking around with them and feeding them apples and carrots. We also really enjoyed hiking the trails. We love taking the tour of the ranch to see all the other animals and hold the baby goats. The campsites and the property have always been well maintained and beautiful. The bathrooms and showers are always clean and you always have hot water. The whole experience that Lucky U provides is simply amazing! The hosts Rob and Mike are the best! They have a genuine love for their animals, property, and people. They provide awesome service and are very accommodating. We are already planning another trip for the summer!

My pup and I enjoyed our stay there. It was such an amazing experience to be sitting at my campsite and see a horse walk up to us. Then two others followed. Later, after our walk on the nature trail, seven donkeys came over to say Hi. Mike and Rob are very good hosts, quite welcoming. Their animals and the place are well cared for. The campsites are clean and well spaced out. I definitely recommend this place and would like to visit again.

Weekend Trip to T.L.C.'S GYPSY HAVEN

Absolutely beautiful! The land and its views are absolutely breathe taking. Our daughter loved watching the riders and their horses gallop by. Everyone, especially the host, were super friendly. It's a close drive to Lithia Springs, we greatly enjoyed spending the weekend there and also highly recommend. We will definitely be back at this Hip camp location!

We had a wonderful time at Lucky U Ranch, the beautiful land and peaceful nature were a great escape from the city life. Rob and Mike are wonderful hosts and were very helpful with anything we needed. The amenities are nice and everything you could need.

We loved the place....so quiet and serene. Easy to pull in our 33 ft trailer. The water is crystal clear and we sat on the dock for hours watching the fish jump and the ducks swim by. We even saw a baby manatee ! Used the kayak and visited the swimming area and saw a few more manatees. The site is located in the front yard under trees and very private. The dock is around the back of the property. It's close to everything so if you forgot something....there is a store nearby for you.

Camping area is beautiful. Secluded and quiet with plenty of space between spots so it actually feels like camping and not like a parking lot with hookups. I plan to come back in the future.

Great place with full hookups, especially for the price. It felt super private. We extended our stay and will probably return next time we're in FL! Awesome proximity to rainbow springs, three sister springs, clearwater, and many other destinations. Plenty of stores, basically anything you could need is nearby. Highly recommend!

Great last minute find for camping outside of Weeki Wachee. Friends and I stayed in the private area and it was perfect as a hang out spot outside of our tent. Firepit, table for games and picnic area made our stay super fun. 100% recommend for tent setup

We really enjoyed our stay, The location is convenient to many interesting sites. We especially liked all the Springs. The property is large enough that you are not bothered by the neighbors. Full hookups mean you have all you need. The sites have concrete pads and loose rocks surrounding the pads, to help keep you out of the grass. sand and dirt.

3 nights at Lucky U Ranch

We absolutely loved our time there! It was quiet and interacting with the horses and donkeys at your site was awesome. The camper had everything we needed and I used the coffee bar area in the morning even though there was a coffee maker in the camper. It was nice just sitting around hearing the animal noises, especially the donkeys! I also did the walking trails in the woods and then took a break on a tree swing. It was very relaxing. Rob & Mike were excellent hosts and definitely, get a tour of the ranch, it was well worth it! ~Sharon

Most people come to stay either in our rental cottage or in their horse trailers/RVs with their horses to ride the awesome trails in the 20,000+ acre adjacent Croom Forest. However, because our ranch is so peaceful, many stay here without horses just to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are many opportunities to recreate in the area, including outstanding mountain and road biking, OHVing, hiking, golfing, and canoeing/kayaking. Many full-time and working RVers stay for extended periods. Note that our camping area is small and intimate, so you will be close to other campers. We have 5 30-amp hookups, and 2 50-amp hookups; if you need 50-amp service, please request it. Note that a minimum of a 2-night stay will typically be required on weekends, especially during our busy season. WiFi is available, but we call it "Country WiFi" since it sometimes can be slow and may or may not be accessible from where you are parked; also, Verizon cell service in our area is terrible. If internet access is important to you, we suggest having your own hotspot or internet service (many working RVers have Starlink). Note that GPS can be very mean in our rural area; make sure your turn off Highway 50 is onto paved High Corner Road, which is 2 miles west of I-75 (if GPS tries to turn you down unpaved, dead-end roads, DO NOT LISTEN..you will get stuck!).

Red Mombin, and thousands of banana plants. Fishing can be great, wildlife and bird watching too. Fenced and gated for safety, this old historic nursery property has good vibes and plenty to offer. Until you see it - you really may not understand. Parts of property are wide open, other areas are rugged and difficult to walk through including some wetland areas. The nursery has plenty of trees, and some fields -the large pond is surrounded by cattails and marsh/wetlands and has fish (Bass, Tilapia, Sunfish, Catfish). Cotee River Bend

Our RV Campsites are located in a grassy field next to dense woods. Electric and water hookups are included in the RV/Camper sites, but not the Tent Site. All sites have a picnic table and fire ring. Our newly renovated restrooms on the property have toilets and one shower. A boardwalk takes you along the Cotee River to our open air pavilions with several places to sit and enjoy nature. Cell phone service is not a problem, as we are not that remote (although it sort of feels like we are when you are here) - we are 5 min from downtown New Port Richey, 2 minutes from groceries, gas, restaurants. This beautiful slice of Old Florida is named for the Pithlachascotee River that bends along the back side of the property. Pithlo is the Creek word meaning canoe, and chaskita means to dig or chop out, together signifying "place where canoes are chopped or dug out". Seminoles of this area used canoes dug out from the great cypress trees found along Florida rivers. From the 1980s until 2014, this property was owned by the Cotee River Lions Club. They held a popular monthly pancake breakfast fundraiser in the large pavilion along the river. We purchased this 4.9 acres of land in late 2019. It is now where we live and have a woodworking shop. It has been a magical place for us, with no shortage of wildlife, rich jungle forest, a lazy winding narrow river, and even the occasion river otter sighting. We are grateful to all the humans who have occupied this place over the centuries before us for keeping it as nature intended it. It is our intention to do our part to conserve and protect its natural beauty as long as possible. We hope you find it to be as restful and rejuvenating as we do.

Our property is six acres, and the central feature is our natural spring-fed pond with gorgeous waterfront views. The camping designated area is a one-acre pasture across the pond from the farm house we live in. If you like privacy, you will be happy to know that we have very few designated RV and glamping sites. The property sits at the end of a private road in a quiet country-like setting with mature oak trees decorated with Spanish moss. The current inhabitants of our farm include our three mini-cows, Stormy, Lila, and Boots, two donkeys, Pancho, a standard, and Cindy Lou, a mini. Another two friendly faces you will see are Liza and Louise, two Kune-Kune sows. Other animals you will see everywhere are our chickens, ducks, and other wild birds. The chickens and ducks don't have names but are also filled with personality. Our farm is strategically located. We call it 'one-hour and ten-minutes to anything'. Here's why: We are an hour away from Disney World, Downtown Tampa, the downtown St. Petersburg and Clearwater beach. Most of Tampa Bay suburban areas are also under an hour away. We are also a little over an hour away from some of the most breathtaking springs in Florida. Alderman's Ford, a Hillsborough County conservation park with over seven miles of hiking trails, is within walking or biking distance. The park's most famous attraction is a 1.9-mile paved and one of the state's most popular canoe spots. The loop, which is hiker, dog-walker, and bicycle-friendly, links with a boardwalk and footbridges leading into shaded woods of gigantic cypress and oak trees. There is also a designated horse trail. About 10 minutes down the road, the Alafaia River State Park offers some of the most radical elevation changes in the state. This topography is uncommon for most of Florida, making the park a hot spot for mountain bikers, equestrians, and hikers. The hilly trails at Alafaia River total about 20 miles and run through forests, flatwoods, and lakes.
