Guests have easy access to nature trails, a butterfly garden, and opportunities to see local wildlife—sometimes even spoonbills. Just behind the lot, you’ll find his-and-hers bathrooms, hot showers, shuffleboard, and a laundry facility. The main clubhouse offers cable TV access, tennis, table tennis, pickleball, and a sparkling community pool.
This is an ideal place for a quiet, relaxing long-term stay surrounded by nature, amenities, and a friendly community atmosphere. A one-month minimum stay applies during the January–March peak season.

My son and I stayed at Ramayana Cove while we were in town hunting at Razzor Ranch, and it was exactly what we were hoping for. The cabin is rustic, but more than sufficient—clean, comfortable, and a great place to recharge after long days outdoors.
The property itself is beautiful. What really stood out were the nighttime bonfires and the sky. With no light pollution, the stars were incredible—clear, bright, and endless. Sitting by the fire under that kind of sky with my son made for some memorable conversations and a true reset from everyday life.
If you’re looking for something polished and luxury-driven, this isn’t that. But if you want peaceful, natural, and authentic Florida outdoors with a quiet, unplugged vibe, this place delivers.
We’d absolutely come back.

We stayed in the Hideaway campsite with our 23 foot sprinter van. We loved the privacy and being surrounded by nature. The walk to the bathroom/shower area is very nice. There’s gardens and a Koi pond and a little tiki bar and a cobblestone-like walkway with patios. I would call this a community area. The bathroom was always clean and the outdoor shower although I was hesitant, was actually very nice with plenty of hot water and good flow. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Silver Bullet Stables is a lively place. A variety of animals, including; horses, longhorn steers, donkeys, chickens, cats and dogs. Along with the neighboring bull and St Bernard and of course the wildlife and sunsets! They host horse riding lessons for the local 4H kids and others. Watching the crew work with the variety of horses, some newly acquired was fun. It is laidback and relaxing place, but so full of life! We thoroughly enjoyed both of our visits this winter and look forward to future stays.

It has everything you need! The beds are super comfortable! The firepit was beautifully set up. The bathroom was clean and the outdoor shower was great! The place was very nicely situated, the campsite was spacious, private, with a fire pit, chairs and a picnic table. Even had an electrical cord to charge up my bluetti. With that said, the bathrooms are a bit of a walk thru the darkness , while lit … for this northerner who’s seen many signs about bears, panthers, poisoned snakes and spiders … it was a bit nerve racking for me, but that’s just me perhaps. Overall a pleasant place, where I slept well.

We tent camped at the hideaway, perfect spot, heard some animas from the neighbors next door (camels, donkeys, birds) totally worth it. The boat ride JJ gave use was awesome, we saw several gators. The views can only be experienced in person, pictures won’t do you justice. Highly recommend J&P Creekside Retreat, the hosts (John, Patty, and JJ) were like family and were there for anything you needed. Town was about 10 minutes away for any extras you might need to pick up, otherwise the showers were warm and the bathroom was clean. 10/10
