We have guest also go to the Econfina Springs and canoe rental and spend a day floating the beautiful Ecofina River with 8 springs to visit on a days float. There are many State parks so close. If you want to go out to eat or socialize a local brewery and restaurants are very close and beautiful Alabama too! We are super easy to visit if you are coming from the north out of Dothan are on Interstate 10 we are just Located 1.4 miles North of Interstate right on Hwy 231. Easy access to the interstate, fuel and shopping. The farm is gated with a remote controlled gate for security. Leila’s spot was great. We loved that it was only a block from the beach. The shed storage and laundry machine was helpful- especially because of the humidity and moisture over night. It was hard to get clothing dry without a dryer. (We used a laundromat in town) The black tank hook up was not threaded to secure a connection but it still worked. Red tide was high while we were there. Overall it was a beautiful spot just steps away from a beautiful dog friendly beach. We loved the location and so did our pets. Would recommend!

Very well, kept with a beautiful scenery, the fact that there’s only three campsites is really nice as well so you don’t feel overcrowded. The firewood, being chopped and ready for you for $.50 a log was awesome. Beautiful sunrise, and sunset, I highly suggest you try to stay up just for a little bit because we were able to see a ton of shooting stars.

We've been sojourning here for almost five years. We drive our camper from Kansas City to the Everglades for the winter and stop here at the Bay Hideaway to and from to visit our six grandchildren that live in the area. It is a perfect Hideaway, with no 'stranger danger', a huge lawn to play on, a shallow bay for the kids to have fun catching crabs, a very long dock, a tree house, not to mention the quiet and the gorgeous views. I love the porch, and the trees and marsh for the excellent birdwatching. In the four days we were here this visit we saw over 15 types of birds including a Clapper Rail, a Bald Eagle, and lots of shore birds. Crystal and Nathan have been helpful and a pleasure to communicate with... very highly recommend staying here!
