My wife and I stayed on this very spot in January 2020 and fell in LOVE with it! Being relative newbies to RVing, we wanted something private but also wanted a beach front vacation without spending 5K for a house. So, we decided to start searching. Turns out, there isn't a whole lot of RV hookup spots right on the beach. But, we ran across this lovely privately owned gulf front lot on Cape San Blas in Florida and stayed for a week that January. We loved it so much we tried to book it again in May of that year, but it was of course booked the entire month. So, we booked another spot and headed to the cape in May anyway. We wanted to see our favorite spot again, so we drove by one day and low and behold, it was for sale. We couldn't pass up an opportunity to own something we fell in love with so quickly, so we took the jump, and bought it! And now, we can share it with all of you. Treat yourself to a beach front vacation in your own "home" and enjoy the journey friends. You only live once!

Cape San Blas, FL is one of the most beautiful and laid back places you will visit. This property is located on Cape San Blas and is right on the water (gulf side). The cape bike path you can take all the way to the state park and explore the entire cape and all it has to offer (22 mile round trip bike path). Also, check out kayaking in the bay or horse-back riding on the beach!

You can pitch you tent in the pine forest or in the open area next to the ponds!

she got a little to close and Mr. Crab chased her snapping his claws, she ran laughing and screaming, it was so much fun!

From “Hemi” to “Jimi” from the “Protests” to ”Apollo”, Retroville Rv Park is a full-service hookup RV Park on the water front of Choctawhatchee Bay. We feature a large collection of 1960’s and 70’s Hollywood memorabilia and have the “Retro” Theme at all pads and throughout the park. It will not only be a place to camp while vacationing but a place to relive and experience the “Drive in movie and TV theme ” and enjoy the decor and vibes of “60-70s Americana” that was such a short-lived time in our past. We will feature Wi-Fi at all sites along with easy access to Hwy 331. From there you can visit our world famous beautiful white sandy shores on 30a, restaurants galore, live entertainment and all levels of shopping!

My husband and I fell in love with Port St. Joe, FL on our anniversary, it was our first visit and long distance RV trip. We had such a wonderful time that we scheduled another trip right away and brought our kids and 4 of our dogs!! Needless to say they all loved it! Truly Paradise!
One day our daughter was on the beach playing and found a Blue Crap:)
she got a little to close and Mr. Crab chased her snapping his claws, she ran laughing and screaming, it was so much fun!
We had such a great time and shortly after we were blessed to be able to purchase this beach front lot that is now called The Crab Claw'.

Property includes a nice patio set and a picnic table. Plenty of space. We have a 38 foot 5th wheel and that is the largest we can fit. Property is located just 1 mile from public beach access at Salina’s Park. About 10 minutes into Port St Joe with shops and restaurants. 25 minutes to Apalachicola. Beaches are pet friendly and fires are allowed. Come visit this unique area of Florida! In addition to the beaches, there is excellent fishing in the area.

This was an amazing private getaway!! The site was clean and easily accessible with the ability to pull in and out. No backing necessary. This was just the quiet new years getaway we were hoping for. We will definitely be back to paddle board the beautiful chipola river when it warms up!

Beautiful property! Fantastic view, Great location. We loved kayaking in the bay and visiting nearby state parks and beaches. The heated shower, outdoor sink, and level RV pad made camping easy! The owners were very responsive and helpful with some questions I had prior to arrival as well.. If we travel to the same area again, we would happily return to the Bay Getaway.

Lots of room for our 36 foot fifth wheel and truck. Easy in and out access. The utilities are as stated. It is basically in a back yard setting. It was nice to have our camper covered. I found it a little more crowded than what the pictures showed. But I would definitely stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay, Jay also left me a bottle of honey, which I really appreciated. The facility is especially recommended if you are with a group of friends, because the space is a lot and it already has a firepit (no grill) with armchairs disposed all around it. The place in itself is really peaceful and a great way to escape the everyday life. I personally went there to visit the caverns in Marianna and to go kayaking along the Chipola River. 10/10

I also enjoyed the presence of the dogs as it allowed me to ensure my security at night! Also the eggs were delicious!

This site is exactly as described. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Great location, within minutes of attractions, stores and the beach. The goats were a great addition, our children loved spending time with the animals.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having full hookups and a nice fire pit by the river made it very comfortable. We also appreciated its location and were able to visit the Caverns St Park and Hinson Conservation area for some nice hikes. We launched our kayaks from the steep stairway, with caution - but no issues. Good location for dark sky watching too.

Really enjoyed this spot. We were passing through for a few days and needed to be in between friends that were located in PCB and apalachicola. It’s walking distance from public beach, great food/ Dollar General/Ace Hardware near by and very quiet at night. I mirror what others have said about unevenness of Pad and sewer hookups being a bit high. Probably only challenging for those of us with smaller travel trailers. Having two water supply hookups, 50,30,20 amp electrical hookups and this awesome shed with RV accessories extras, a washing machine, chairs, table, hoses, etc. makes up for any of the small site inconveniences. Can’t wait to stay here in the spring/summer so we can really enjoy the area. We recommend this spot and the host was great, instructions were great and communication was timely. Thanks for a great stay!

I loved tent camping at Maggie’s. Everything I would need was provided: hot shower, clean port-a-potty, and a partial kitchen. Maggie and Michael are the bests hosts I’ve met in my 5 months of traveling. I was met and shown around when I arrived. These two have great musical talents and a lot of stories that I really enjoyed and learned something from. I would absolutley stay here again and may even make it a must stop when in the area.

We had the best time camping on Laura’s site. The location couldn’t be better. Less than a 5 minute bike ride to the beach and walking distance to multiple restaurants and stores. We also thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub several evenings when the temps dropped into the 40’s & 50’s!
I hope we can grab this same site for our trip next year!!!

We had a great time spending Thanksgiving on the river. Jay is a fantastic host, very responsive, and even helped us out of a bind when we locked ourselves out of the camper. Our shepherd loved being able to play fetch and not be leashed up, and the site is super clean. We will definitely be back when the river levels are up to do some more fishing.
