My wife and I stayed on this very spot in January 2020 and fell in LOVE with it!  Being relative newbies to RVing, we wanted something private but also wanted a beach front vacation without spending 5K for a house.  So, we decided to start searching.  Turns out, there isn't a whole lot of RV hookup spots right on the beach.  But, we ran across this lovely privately owned gulf front lot on Cape San Blas in Florida and stayed for a week that January.  We loved it so much we tried to book it again in May of that year, but it was of course booked the entire month.  So, we booked another spot and headed to the cape in May anyway.  We wanted to see our favorite spot again, so we drove by one day and low and behold, it was for sale.  We couldn't pass up an opportunity to own something we fell in love with so quickly, so we took the jump, and bought it!  And now, we can share it with all of you.  Treat yourself to a beach front vacation in your own "home" and enjoy the journey friends.  You only live once!   GULF FRONT! Yes, you have your own path directly to the beach along with outdoor shower to rinse of your day on the sand and then enjoy the grill and picnic area for your afternoon dinner with your group. This 1/2 acre private property gulf front and equipped with 30/50 amp service, water, sewer, trash pickup, an outdoor patio, grill and misting outdoor shower. Just bring your swimming suits you'll be set. Cape San Blas, FL is one of the most beautiful and laid back places you will visit. Really enjoyed this spot. We were passing through for a few days and needed to be in between friends that were located in PCB and apalachicola. It’s walking distance from public beach, great food/ Dollar General/Ace Hardware near by and very quiet at night. I mirror what others have said about unevenness of Pad and sewer hookups being a bit high. Probably only challenging for those of us with smaller travel trailers. Having two water supply hookups, 50,30,20 amp electrical hookups and this awesome shed with RV accessories extras, a washing machine, chairs, table, hoses, etc. makes up for any of the small site inconveniences. I loved tent camping at Maggie’s. Everything I would need was provided: hot shower, clean port-a-potty, and a partial kitchen. Maggie and Michael are the bests hosts I’ve met in my 5 months of traveling. I was met and shown around when I arrived. These two have great musical talents and a lot of stories that I really enjoyed and learned something from. I would absolutley stay here again and may even make it a must stop when in the area.

We had the best time camping on Laura’s site. The location couldn’t be better. Less than a 5 minute bike ride to the beach and walking distance to multiple restaurants and stores. We also thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub several evenings when the temps dropped into the 40’s & 50’s! I hope we can grab this same site for our trip next year!!!

We had a great time spending Thanksgiving on the river. Jay is a fantastic host, very responsive, and even helped us out of a bind when we locked ourselves out of the camper. Our shepherd loved being able to play fetch and not be leashed up, and the site is super clean. We will definitely be back when the river levels are up to do some more fishing.

Leila’s spot was great. We loved that it was only a block from the beach. The shed storage and laundry machine was helpful- especially because of the humidity and moisture over night. It was hard to get clothing dry without a dryer. (We used a laundromat in town) The black tank hook up was not threaded to secure a connection but it still worked. Red tide was high while we were there. Overall it was a beautiful spot just steps away from a beautiful dog friendly beach. We loved the location and so did our pets. Would recommend!

4 nights at 30A Bay Hideaway

We've been sojourning here for almost five years. We drive our camper from Kansas City to the Everglades for the winter and stop here at the Bay Hideaway to and from to visit our six grandchildren that live in the area. It is a perfect Hideaway, with no 'stranger danger', a huge lawn to play on, a shallow bay for the kids to have fun catching crabs, a very long dock, a tree house, not to mention the quiet and the gorgeous views. I love the porch, and the trees and marsh for the excellent birdwatching. In the four days we were here this visit we saw over 15 types of birds including a Clapper Rail, a Bald Eagle, and lots of shore birds. Crystal and Nathan have been helpful and a pleasure to communicate with... very highly recommend staying here!

We loved camping at Sweetwater Daze River camp! The grounds were very well maintained and setup was a breeze. The river was beautiful, and the atmosphere was peaceful. We had a great time hanging out by the river with a nice fire and watching the stars at night. But the best was going with Jay on a river tour! He has so much local knowledge about the river and the surrounding area. The places we got to see were stunning! So be sure to ask him about his boat tour, you won’t be disappointed. This is definitely one of our favorite camp sites, we will definitely be back!
