We love camping by the pond! Watching and listening to the wildlife. Having a campfire. Walking distance to the little church and driving distance is short to town. Our hosts are wonderful people and we will definitely be back again!

Great place to camp, secluded and quiet. You’re 30 yds from the lake shore. On some days you can watch small seaplanes doing touch and goes on the lake. You’re about 30-35 mins from outskirts of Orlando and 35min from New Smyrna Beach.

Wes and Tanya have a very unique spot for camping. We overlook a pond and some wildlife here. We’ve come two years in a row so far and I know we will be back again. They are great people to deal with and have been very welcoming and accommodating.

Site 420 was perfect for us! Dog friendly, private, enjoyed the wildlife next to the pond and was conveniently located for our needs. We were thankful that Tanya was able to be very accommodating with our last minute changes and needs. Highly recommended!! Two thumbs up and would stay here again in the future if in the area.

Camped with a small 5th wheel, site 420. It was absolutely lovely. We were visiting our son’s family and had our granchildren to camp one day as well. Tanya and Wes were great in making sure we got there and situated. They had a lot of amenities including fire rings and wood. The sounds of the animals at night over the pond was really nice as well. We had 3 dogs with us and put up our fence for camp with no problems. The plants and quaint yard art was very enjoyable.

Our recent stay was exceptional. The site is ideally located, offering beautiful views and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The host Laura and her husband were incredibly accommodating and have clearly invested a great deal of care into creating a thoughtfully designed, well-maintained space. It exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to returning.

The property is well maintained, relaxing, private and beautiful. We enjoyed watching the deer in the mornings and the hawks soaring over the lake. Laura was quick to respond to our questions and was a fantastic host. Excellent set up and we will definitely book again in the future.

After a late night out, I started my second day at The Oaks with an early coffee run and breakfast, then came back to soak in the scenery—and that’s when I was like I have to stay again. The property is incredibly quiet and beautiful, with a peaceful energy that’s hard to find. I hadn’t had much downtime the day before, but this morning gave me a chance to check things out.
I took a ride up to the Citrus Tower and enjoyed another coffee at their fantastic little shop, then spent the rest of the morning thrifting at local shops (always a favorite pastime). Later, I made my way to Lake Louisa—my absolute favorite spot in the area—and honestly, I want going to go there but I needed to see more nature. And it didn’t disappoint .
I’m already thinking about coming back for a longer stay just to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. For anyone looking for a solid base near Disney but away from the “bubble”, or Clermont, or Orlando. This is the spot for you.
Oh, and I almost forgot so as I was walking around and the couple times that I came in and out on the driveway, I noticed the property has a bunch of hidden gems basically art. All hidden and nestled within the property in the trees, a bunch of purpose items which is right up my alley.
