The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.

Ginnie Springs offers world class underwater cave diving -PADI license required. Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs consistently offer up close sightings of Manatees without the crowds of Crystal River. Caceres Organic Blueberry & Turmeric Farms is nestled in the heart of the Suwannee River Water Basin, home to some some of the most beautiful freshwater springs in the world. We have been a WWOOF host since 2011. Over 500 organic volunteers from around the world have lived and worked at the farm so we are used to creating an atmosphere of community and sustainable living.  We have cleared tent camping lots for Hip Campers in front of the on-property lake with easy access to swimming and fishing. There are two solar shower stalls with hot water powered by the sun. It is specifically built to overlook the main blueberry field and peach grove. Stunning views at sunset. An outhouse / composting toilet is currently under construction with the rain water collection system now complete. In the meantime a portable toilet is provided.  A potable water station is available and built from re-purposed materials and wood harvested locally. We are a working farm. We supply every Lucky's Market location with fresh turmeric and a host of stores with our blueberries. We also have an active u-pick program during the blueberry and peach harvests (late March to early June) that is available to Hip Campers. There are multiple springs within 30 miles in various directions - some of them of First Magnitude volume. Ichetucknee Springs offers excellent river rafting. Ginnie Springs offers world class underwater cave diving -PADI license required. Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs consistently offer up close sightings of Manatees without the crowds of Crystal River. There is also a boat launch on the Suwannee River just minutes from the farm for boating, skiing and fishing. Bob's River Place is minutes away.The Gulf of Mexico is just 40 miles away. Scalloping season begins June 15 this year and runs to September. Oyster season lasts all winter. Stay in one of our three designated camping sites, tie up a hammock, gaze at the pond inhabitants****, and check out what's growing in the seasonal garden. Also enjoy the many flowering plants and other special trees. Florida's gem-colored, healing spring waters are just a 20 minutes up the way and local retreat centers and yoga studios dot the area. Amazing camp site on 87 acres with open fields and grand daddy oaks with amazing sunrise and sunsets and plenty of open area for stargazing. Visit our 500 year old live oak tree. The property is 5 min to Interstate 75 (414 Exit). O'Leno State (https://www.floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/oleno-state-park) is a 5 min drive. We have a life time park pass so entry to the park is free for us. Please ask us about that. We have power and water only at our Hip-camp. We have 3 RV slips on the property, each with 50 Amp electric and water hookups. Ichetucknee Springs State Park (https://ichetuckneesprings.com/) 15-20 min drive from our site. We also have access to the private areas on Itchetucknee and Santa Fe River and have kayaks, paddle boards, tubes, and other inflatable. Ginnie Springs (https://ginniespringsoutdoors.com/) and Rum Island (https://www.lakecityfl.com/listing/rum-island-spring-and-park) are also a short drive from our site. We also have a large tent camping area with 5 tent sites that are covered and have access to power and water. The Radiant Oaks Center is adjacent to the R/V sites and camping area. This facility is used for retreats. R/V's and campers will have access to 2 full bathrooms and fully equipped ped kitchen area with refrigerator stove and microwave, coffeemaker and plenty pots, pans and dishes. The kitchen may have limited access during special events or retreats. There are several fire pits and open fields for frisbee, volley ball, horse shoes, and corn hole games in the camping area. The building also has a large covered outdoor pouch area with lights and fans for rainy days, to hang out. reading, card games, etc. As mentioned earlier, we are on 80+ acres and plenty of room to roam and trails to explore. The city of High Springs and Lake City are each a short drive away have lots of shops, restaurants, and groceries. Feel free to ask us for recommendations. This is a working agriculture area with lots of wild life. We are not responsible injuries caused by animals, fauna, or fences that you may encounter.

This is a great property and opportunity to visit old Florida. It’s a perfect rural setting with little to no ambient noise while also within 30 minutes of all you could need and also a general store within 15. This a place to bring your family. Visit any of the amazing natural springs in the immediate area and don’t forget all desirable state parks along the Suwannee River Valley. Of most importance, Mr Stacey is an excellent host. He’s very flexible and can make just about anything work. He’ll make himself available as much or as little as you might need. He’s very crafty as well. Some of the projects he has going in for upcoming lodging is very impressive. Would like to give a special shout out to the shower house and toilet facilities—makes camping a ton better as my crew gets pretty dirty. We just live a few hours away hoping to return multiple times!! We live the river life!

I absolutely loved this spot! It’s so tranquil and beautiful. We brought our small 20 foot camper, and we had no problems with any of the hook ups. This campground is incredibly well kept, and peaceful. The bathrooms, the outdoor showers, and the trash area were very clean. The cabin looks absolutely adorable. Big shoutout to Mr. Tim for letting our five year old son check out his tractor. This one of the nicest spots we’ve found so far and will most definitely be staying here again!

Quaint grounds away from city life! I did not meet the host, but a family member, and he could not have been more friendly and welcoming. The out house is very clean and the shower is outdoor but not heated. It’s enough privacy to be modest and enough water pressure to get you clean. The sites are well maintained and spacious so there is room for privacy and the surrounding area is quiet! The camp was easy to find and at the time of stay (winter) no bugs or wildlife bothering you. It’s also close enough to town you can drive in for meals or supplies. And the amount of outdoor activity near by is fantastic. I would definitely stay again if I were traveling in the area.

We loved this site, the bathroom and potable water accommodations exceeded our expectations. The other sites are within 100-150ft of one another but it still felt private. The host are very welcoming and helped us out when we had some car problems and were mindful of the freezing temperatures and brought us some extra fire wood. Overall a great experience and we will be looking to come back in the summer time.

Great spot for camping in the primitive sites around two ponds, or anywhere around the property. There was a cabin with hot water, shower, flush toilet, and electricity which was nice when needed, otherwise we stuck to our little spot most of the time. My AWD vehicle was fine for cruising around the property as long as the soft spots were avoided, although we could have brought a side by side/4-wheeler/utv, etc which would have been fun. We spotted an alligator, an otter, and fish in the ponds which was a fun surprise. There are lots of trees, which was perfect for shade, and we had an awesome view of the stars when closer to the ponds since the site is far enough away from light pollution. Also, it was nice that there was a gas station within five minutes should something be forgotten. We definitely would camp here again, and could even do so with a larger group. Paul was a wonderful host, very friendly and communicative.

This was our second stay here, and somehow it was even better than the first! The privacy is top-notch, you truly feel tucked away in your own little slice of nature with incredible views of the surrounding outdoors that never get old. The amenities make it easy to fully relax: a shower, water, and a convenient dishwashing area that make camping comfortable without losing the off-grid vibe. We spent our days unwinding, laughing, and just enjoying being outside, and our evenings were extra special thanks to all the wildlife—including watching bats swoop through the sky, which was such a cool experience. The hosts are fantastic: friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about making sure guests have a great stay.
