Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run.
Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground Pool
Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

Loved my stay at the Dood Ranch! I came during New Years and was invited to a wonderful bonfire and enjoyed a meaningful conversation with Sandi the host. She even offered me a traditional New Years Day dish (peas and honey cornbread) the next day. Which was delicious. I felt safe and sound at the Dood Ranch and recommend it for any traveler who needs a nice place to stay. Very pet friendly so bring your pups!

This cabin is spacious, warm and safe. We were in need of a place to stay. Stacey has many different options to pick from rent and RV spots to even a pioneer campsite. Now that's rad. We were also provided firewood that we were not charged for because it was raining. Stacey is a great host.

We only overnighted but loved this wide open field…. For the more adventurous (driving on a farm lane! Felt like I was at my Grandparents!) The gate pictured is the entrance. I did not pick up on that when I booked it so my dusk arrival had me worried. There is a well marked lane then you turn toward the green barn. No worries for turning around, plenty of space. We let our dog run free and had a great time. The electric is 50 amp so if you are a 30, be sure to have your adaptor.

Cute little spot, I would come back to stay for longer. Feels like very much in the sticks for only 30mins from ev charging haha. Nice for a 3 piece family like us, we even met a friendly dog there too. Really like the shower house.

I loved the privacy of this beautiful spot. Being able to pull in and be undercover and simply plug-in was a luxury. Having the place all to myself, seeing the deer and the stars late at night made for a peaceful respite. Walked the trail on the property in the afternoon and simply relaxed. Highly recommend.

Directly on the river with a beautiful view. Secluded and private. Loads of available amenities like games and workout equipment. Be sure to bring everything you need as all of the stores are a significant distance. 🙂 it’s centrally located to many beautiful springs. The hosts are great with quick response time.

Jessica is extremely nice and goes above and beyond to make sure that you’re happy and doing well! They do their thing around their place but never intrude unless asked a question. It is obviously a working farm so don’t take offense to them doing things fairly close to you. Overall easy access, strong power supply and water with sewer as well which was nice if needed. We are fully self contained and didn’t need. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing stay! Super quiet, large property, and felt extremely private. The bathhouse for showers and bathroom were literally steps outside the door. Stacey was amazing and took care of any issues (adjusted the AC for us while we were out), brought a camp stove, AND set us up each day with pine needles for a campfire (every 12 year olds wish!!!). Best of all, we caught two fish when out fishing and could not find anyone to filet them for us. Stacey came and grabbed them from our cooler and then kept an eye on my message when I was ready for them. Honestly 15 out of 10 stars.
I checked out the RV site for future visits and will be back! It is a perfect pull through, easy to access.

Had a wonderful time on Pamela’s farm! I was able to pitch my tent right near a horse pasture and had a lot of open space for camping. Pamela was very attentive and provided water, a restroom, as well as access to the barn to spend time with all of the animals. The donkeys especially were so sweet. It was a very unique and exciting experience that I will forever appreciate!
