A pet friendly, off leash, dark skies 6 acre slice of paradise in North Florida on the banks of the Suwannee River. In 1990 the State of Florida banned logging within 1,000 feet of the Suwannee River so Southeast Timberlands sold off it's holdings and we were lucky enough to purchase 6 acres and 444 feet of riverfront. A designated "Pristine Scenic Waterway" with very steep banks, the Suwannee is one of the few"wild" rivers left in the United States and can rise over 30 feet to flood stage almost overnight; yet due to its unique topography we can access it no matter how high or low the water.
The Forest Service has bought up the surrounding lots, creating a 10 mile Conservation corridor supporting the National Scenic Florida Trail, it's clearly marked footpaths and natural attractions. To that end, we have left the old growth upland forest the way we found it. The campsite is a natural feature as is the Zen deck and canoe launch, a swale draining the ridge. The campsite is level, the lane to the river slopes gently dropping in elevation 20 feet over 1,000 in making it easy for able bodied guests to navigate their way to the white sugar sand beach.
We want to share our retreat with those who are looking for a real wilderness experience in an exclusive private setting. A Waiver of Liability is required by all guests as the Wilderness is an inherently dangerous place. We only offer one accommodation per weekend with a maximum of 8 people, because we only have 1 toilet, so our guests can have the seclusion they desire and be free to enjoy the natural wonder of the woodland experience in any manner they choose.

The local Camping World in Lake City FL has a dump station, so I advise dumping your tanks before you arrive.Nice quiet area. Partially wooded, partially open grassy field. If you want total privacy and want to boondock (no hookups) you can go the the far edge of the field and park partially in the woods.

Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run.

Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

Ichetucknee Springs State Park (https://ichetuckneesprings.com/) 15-20 min drive from our site. We also have access to the private areas on Itchetucknee and Santa Fe River and have kayaks, paddle boards, tubes, and other inflatable.

We also have a large tent camping area with 5 tent sites that are covered and have access to power and water.
The Radiant Oaks Center is adjacent to the R/V sites and camping area. This facility is used for retreats. R/V's and campers will have access to 2 full bathrooms and fully equipped ped kitchen area with refrigerator stove and microwave, coffeemaker and plenty pots, pans and dishes. The kitchen may have limited access during special events or retreats.
There are several fire pits and open fields for frisbee, volley ball, horse shoes, and corn hole games in the camping area. The building also has a large covered outdoor pouch area with lights and fans for rainy days, to hang out. reading, card games, etc.
As mentioned earlier, we are on 80+ acres and plenty of room to roam and trails to explore.
The city of High Springs and Lake City are each a short drive away have lots of shops, restaurants, and groceries. Feel free to ask us for recommendations.

This is the beautiful wild coast of Florida's "Big Bend." Located halfway between Perry to the north and Steinhatchee to the south, Keaton Beach is an outpost town with a laidback, relaxing atmosphere. No motels, no fast food. This is a great property and opportunity to visit old Florida. It’s a perfect rural setting with little to no ambient noise while also within 30 minutes of all you could need and also a general store within 15. This a place to bring your family. Visit any of the amazing natural springs in the immediate area and don’t forget all desirable state parks along the Suwannee River Valley. Of most importance, Mr Stacey is an excellent host. He’s very flexible and can make just about anything work. He’ll make himself available as much or as little as you might need. He’s very crafty as well. Some of the projects he has going in for upcoming lodging is very impressive. Would like to give a special shout out to the shower house and toilet facilities—makes camping a ton better as my crew gets pretty dirty. We just live a few hours away hoping to return multiple times!! We live the river life!

Not only was this entire site immaculate, I was able to move closer to all the amenities for only $20 more when I got on site. Amenities included pool, hot tub, bar and arcade with restaurant, basketball, Pickleball, large games (chess, connect four, football, etc), showers, and more. All of the employees were extremely kind and we had a great stop.

We loved camping on this property for New Years Eve! There were so many trails to explore, the river was beautiful, the luxury shower and toilet were clean and the hosts were friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this HipCamp!

We were lucky enough to enjoy the whole camp site ourselves. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Responsive to our messages and requests (specifically for firewood). We would definitely come back here. Quiet and peaceful property. Was able to see wild turkeys, deer, and beautiful old oaks on the morning coffee walk.

Had an awesome time here. The camp is located about 3 miles from Ichetucknee springs state park and about the same distance from a few boat ramps for the Suwannee river. The camp was relatively secluded, a nice open area, has a fire ring a small shower, and power. If you are going to tent camp, make sure to bring heavy duty tent stakes. The site has a layer of compact lime stone which is great, but hard to drive standard tent stakes through. Overall great experience.

This cabin is spacious, warm and safe. We were in need of a place to stay. Stacey has many different options to pick from rent and RV spots to even a pioneer campsite. Now that's rad. We were also provided firewood that we were not charged for because it was raining. Stacey is a great host.

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite. We were running a bit late, but the host was waiting for us with a smile and made us feel welcome right away. He helped us get settled and even checked back about 30 minutes later to make sure we had everything we needed.
The campsite itself was beautifully manicured and thoughtfully decorated for the holiday, which added a really nice touch. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful, and being away from the city lights made the night sky absolutely stunning—the stars were unbelievably bright.
If you’re looking for a relaxing, well-kept campsite with a thoughtful host, this is a great place to stay.

We only overnighted but loved this wide open field…. For the more adventurous (driving on a farm lane! Felt like I was at my Grandparents!) The gate pictured is the entrance. I did not pick up on that when I booked it so my dusk arrival had me worried. There is a well marked lane then you turn toward the green barn. No worries for turning around, plenty of space. We let our dog run free and had a great time. The electric is 50 amp so if you are a 30, be sure to have your adaptor.
