And let's not forget, the more well-known attractions, Disney World and Universal Studios are also conveniently located about 45-60 minutes away. When you're ready to stock up on supplies, we're near gas stations and grocery stores (don't leave without trying the famous Publix subs). There are also coin operated laundry options near by. If you need it, there is a reputable RV tire and service company about 10 minutes away. Join us for a night, a few days, or even a week. Weekend Trip to Lakefront Downtown Orlando

My time at Lakefront Downtown Orlando was phenomenal! The hosts Julian and Jason were extremely friendly, and the space they provide is excellent. The house was perfectly clean, and had a nice kitchen to prepare some meals and chat a bit, a chilling living room to rest, a complete mosquito-proof swimming pool... And the designated camping/RV area was quite wide, plus the lake view (or even activities!) looked great. Besides all that, and very important for me, the place is within walking distance to Camping World Stadium (where the festival I was attending was held): a very cheap ride, or a ~30 min walk. You also have a Walmart across the road, very convenient. But above all, the ambient there was in the house with other RVs' and rooms' guests was super chill and friendly --in part I'm sure because of the great vibe of our festival, but also due to what Julian, Jason, and the house transmitted!

Weekend Trip to Cedarkirk Camp & Conf. Center

Really nice campground. I didn’t explore much as I just needed a quiet place to tent camp overnight after a sport event, but it was perfect for me. Site was large, with two spigots, a big picnic table and grill. Bathroom was very clean and great water pressure in the shower! Would definitely stay here again.

Otter Cove is a great place for a weekend get away. Easy to find and fairly secluded. Short dirt road leading in. The spot is on the back end of a large clearing with big oaks surounding and drop off on two sides. The site has a good mix of shade and sun. We were the only ones their and had complete privacy. You can hear some traffic, but its pretty far off. We would stay here again.

JB Resort is 5 star and two 👍👍. Jamie and Bolton are wonderful hosts with an amazing property they are willing to share. This is a garden retreat with amenities galore including: pool, lily ponds, fire pit, billiards, indoor lounge with comfortable restroom facilities and hot water, private camping sites with electric and water, gated property is impeccably clean,, quiet, convenient, and restful. Best Hipcamp by far we have stay in over the past year. Nancy and I will definitely come back when in the Sebring area. Weekend Trip to At Shady Oaks

After a late night out, I started my second day at The Oaks with an early coffee run and breakfast, then came back to soak in the scenery—and that’s when I was like I have to stay again. The property is incredibly quiet and beautiful, with a peaceful energy that’s hard to find. I hadn’t had much downtime the day before, but this morning gave me a chance to check things out. I took a ride up to the Citrus Tower and enjoyed another coffee at their fantastic little shop, then spent the rest of the morning thrifting at local shops (always a favorite pastime). Later, I made my way to Lake Louisa—my absolute favorite spot in the area—and honestly, I want going to go there but I needed to see more nature. And it didn’t disappoint . I’m already thinking about coming back for a longer stay just to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. For anyone looking for a solid base near Disney but away from the “bubble”, or Clermont, or Orlando. This is the spot for you. Oh, and I almost forgot so as I was walking around and the couple times that I came in and out on the driveway, I noticed the property has a bunch of hidden gems basically art. All hidden and nestled within the property in the trees, a bunch of purpose items which is right up my alley.

I booked last-minute for a quick trip that included visiting friends in Clermont and heading into downtown Orlando that evening. The location was ideal—just a few miles from my friends and close enough to Disney for easy back-and-forth drives. The host asked me to text or call about 15 minutes before arrival so they could meet me at the road, wave me in, and guide me directly to my site. That kind of personal touch made arrival smooth and stress-free. Though I didn’t spend much time at the property itself, I slept incredibly well. The site was quiet, stable, and felt safe—perfect for recharging. Everything was exactly as described, and the hosts were responsive and accommodating.

Weekend Trip to Wilderness Shores Ranch Campground!

This place is absolutely fantastic. The campsites are so well maintained, the scenery is incredible & Paul is the best (make sure you get to hear one of his jokes after you check in). There are beautiful longhorns roaming around the campsites and goats in a pen you can go feed. Oh and the bathrooms? Impeccable. So clean and very nice. Truly cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back!!!
