The tent camping was peaceful, and the site was comfortable. There was plenty of shade, and, to our surprise & delight, our site had strings of solar lights that helped us see but did not take much away from the natural ambience. The lights were far enough apart that we still enjoyed our view of the night sky.
April, the host, was hellpful, as was her husband Jerry. Chris & Kendall Campion, the owners, swung by one day to check everything out. They were very hospitable and made us feel welcome.
The shower was hot, and the facilities were basic but did the job as described.
The farm animals were an added treat that enhanced both the sights and sounds of the experience.
We didn't take advantage of the play areas this time, but we plan to return this Spring with our kids & Grandkids for a relaxing time away for our whole family.

We had the most enjoyable peaceful time at camp champ! It was simple yet restorative in so many ways. The animals were a pleasure to be around and our girls were with animals or riding their bikes from sunrise to sundown. April was so kind and let the girls help feed the animals! The owners are so kind. The property is a gem and we can’t wait to come back

My group of four people and three dogs went tent camping for 4 days over thanksgiving break. We including the dogs had an amazing time! We got to rent canoes and go up and down the river. We found so many shark teeth and after we rented the 4wheelers got to ride all the trails around the camp. April and Kendal were very responsive and kind they helped with anything we needed. The camp farm animals and dogs were a great addition we adored them the outdoor kitchen and very hot showers were amazing too it was an all around great trip!!!

We rented two spots for our RVs and had an amazing time!!! Very private and well maintained. April who was overseeing the property was very observant and dedicated to her job. We loved all the animals and the dog friendly atmosphere of the entire place! We would 100% recommend and we will absolutely be back.

Highly recommend. Sites were well spaced out and clean. Bathrooms were well maintained and trash regularly emptied. Sites had electric and good water. Most sites had fire pits and there were group firepits and seating. The grounds were amazing. 170 acres with a lot of paths to explore. Very nice fresh spring fed creek with sandy bed which led to the Alaska River. Would definitely return and stay again.

My family and I LOVED tent camping at Cedarkirk’s land!! The hosts were super kind and accommodating. They let us switch from Site 2 to Site 3 which right next to each other since Site 3 was a little bigger than Site 2 plus Site 3 had a pre-made pit already which my husband and I wanted and liked. Site 2 had a grill to use though. The sites all had a water faucet thing which was so convenient. The sites are all pretty close together but even with that we still felt we had our privacy. The property was so beautiful and full of activities and trails. We did the Sands and Swamp Trail. We would have loved to do the kayaking/canoeing. Next time hopefully. We loved that the site had bathrooms and showers for use. The bathroom in relation to Site 3 was a short walk away. Not bad at all. I was able to quickly walk there with a toddler each time. The woods were super quiet at night to the point you can hear the trees whisper. This easily turned into our best camping trip yet and already said we’d come back!! We’re trying to get my mom and sister and her family to join us next year. Such a unique and good vibes spot. I will definitely recommend Cedarkirk to anybody! I’m thinking of different way this spot can be utilized.

Really nice campground. I didn’t explore much as I just needed a quiet place to tent camp overnight after a sport event, but it was perfect for me. Site was large, with two spigots, a big picnic table and grill. Bathroom was very clean and great water pressure in the shower! Would definitely stay here again.

The campsites however primitive has some real nice extras, like cafe lights in the trees, near by bath house. A huge plus was bringing an extension cord to access electricity at a nearby cabin outlet. Also a great variety of livestock to watch for entertainment.

We really enjoyed this campground. Took advantage of the fresh eggs! We have a 12 foot travel trailer and it was easy to navigate through the property. We will be back.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The campsites are so well maintained, the scenery is incredible & Paul is the best (make sure you get to hear one of his jokes after you check in). There are beautiful longhorns roaming around the campsites and goats in a pen you can go feed. Oh and the bathrooms? Impeccable. So clean and very nice. Truly cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back!!!
