Weekend Trip to The Griffin Ranch

Loved the space. I went for a quiet relaxing weekend to shut off from the world and that’s exactly what I did. The property was great, enjoyed quit walks along the lake with my dog and just sitting in rocking chair on front porch. Highly recommend.

Weekend Trip to THE Farmstay for Animal Lovers!

What an amazing stay. The wagon was beautiful and clean. We had everything that we needed and the beds were very comfy. We loved sitting by the fire pit and enjoying the nature around us. I really loved feeding the animals and having them roam around freely around you was a treat ! Elaine was a lovely host and very attentive. I would definitely go back! Thank you Elaine for a wonderful weekend.

Very cute, cozy cottage -- rustic lakefront accommodations. Tiny house dimensions: 8-ft wide x 16-ft long "bunkhouse", sleeping loft with twin bed is nearly 4-ft deep and 8-ft wide accessible by step-ladder and a cot-width chaise lounge below; the porch decking is 8-ft wide by 6-ft deep with a generous sloping roof.

1 night at Lakefront Sweet Spot, N Central FL

Judith was very kind and accommodating. The bunk house was set up very nicely. The view was great we even got to see a Sandhill crane family with a chick! All in all had a great stay.

This place was exactly what I needed! First time solo camping and felt completely safe and comfortable. This was such a great place to unwind and relax! I camped lakefront on this beautiful lake, which offered peaceful kayaking and wildlife. The camping area was clean, well maintained, and exactly as advertised. I plan to return again soon! No complaints at all!

What a gem of a place. All the farm animals wandering around, with as much right to be there as any human. A chance to hang out, get to know them, pet them, feed them even, and nourish cross species relationships. :-) my partner and children and I loved this place. I would love to return again.

the 4 little trailers are in there own little space the grounds are wooded and well kept the cabin had its own shower and tv extremely clean the outside shower was fantastic had a washer dryer Casandra was super cool let me stay a little later on checkout i 'm a tent camper in Ocala Forest usually but my first hipcamp experience was awesome Casandra even brought me firewood would definetly go back

Weekend Trip to THE Farmstay for Animal Lovers!

It was AMAZING!! We stayed in the Wagon #2 it was clean had very nice bathrooms, comfortable bed everything you could ask for. Loved feeding the animals and got to help brush the horses. Elaine was an amazing host and workers were more then helpful with questions and telling you about the animals and how some got lucky to make it to Elaine’s farm. Would definitely do it again!

Weekend Trip to Serene Forested Blueberry Farm

We had such a lovely time camping with friends at the Blueberry Farm! Cassandra is such a wonderful, thoughtful and considerate host. The sites are all lovely - clean, comfortable, and well equipped with so many special touches. We had a great time exploring the sites in Forest and hanging at the site playing games and enjoying the fire. This was my 3rd time staying at the Blueberry Farm and I can't wait to visit again.

4 nights at Serene Forested Blueberry Farm

The Blueberry Farm was everything I had hoped for and more. The camper I stayed in (The Gunnisack) was the perfect combination of well-appointed, cozy, and rustic, with all the amenities to make for a comfortable experience. An excellent mattress, an AC, all necessary cooking implements, firewood, a fire bowl, tiki torches... Cassandra truly thought of everything. The Gunnisack is tucked away in a little wooded bower, so it's perfect for anyone in search of peace and quiet. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for a rustic, homey getaway that's close to all the amazing nature that Central Florida has to offer (the manatees, gators, monkeys, and incredible birds of Ocala National Forest are just a short drive away).

There aren't words enough to explain the amazing vibe of this place.....just book a site. We recommend the Tikka masala add on. Beautifully done 4 course meal, fine dinning meal in a laid back casual setting with one of a kind hosts! Kudos Christina and Kennedy can't wait to return for a 3 retreat!

Had an amazing stay at Hookie’s Hideaway Forest Camp! Cassandra was a fantastic host—super friendly and welcoming. The outdoor shower with hot water was a great touch, and the campsite itself was peaceful and well-maintained. It’s a fantastic spot to visit with kids, and we loved getting fresh eggs from the farm’s chickens. Beautiful, relaxing vibes all around, and the location is perfect—close to the springs. Highly recommend!

2 nights at Runaway Bay Lodge

We will definitely be coming back to explore. Oh my goodness. My partner and I have been disheartened with the state of the world and working multiple jobs and moving and my daughter and I have been having health issues. So we just really needed some rest and mental peace. Kennedy was such a sweet awesome human and the space was everything anticipated. Nothing like a naked nap by the water ✌️ 🤤

We had an amazing time staying at little lulu! Cassandra was very attentive and greeted us upon arrival. We felt right at home. The RV was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was spacious enough for us and had all the amenities we needed. Little lulu is perfectly tucked away in the woods and we had enough privacy from the other campers but close enough to the outhouse. I would highly recommend staying here and if I’m ever in the area again I would happily stay here again.

My husband and i have birthdays within a couple weeks of each other and decided to celebrate them at Cristina’s property. The WiFi password hints at getting off your devices and we took that advice to heart. Naps, reading, walks/exploration, bike rides, wild animals, farm animals (including the friendliest kitty), sunsets, and sunrises was the prescription and the Waterfront Island Bungalow delivered. On top of that, Cristina and Ed were gracious and welcoming hosts. If you are looking to relax and unplug, this should be your destination. We’ll be back.

This was a phenomenal property. Absolutely perfect for our plans. We brought a ground of Young Men ages 14-17 here for a few days and they had such an incredible experience. There was something for everyone and I would highly recommend the property to anyone. I may be trying to organize another stay here specifically because of how great it was for our needs. Additionally, Declan was very responsive to our questions and requests. Top notch!

This was an outstanding experience. The hosts are kind, intentional, and organized while the cat, goats, ducks & chickens fill out an ensemble cast. It isn’t exactly an “old Florida” vibe but both Publix & Whole Foods are over an hour (plus a boat ride) away. Amaze your followers with the words “secluded cabin on a private island” but be prepared to bring your own mimosas and canapés.

Located on 5 acres in the Ocala National Forest, Hookie's Hideaway is the perfect place to stay for easy access to all of nature's bounty and activities. This property is easily accessible, serene and peaceful. Campsites are in a beautiful grove of pine and sycamore trees. We are surrounded by forested camping areas and close enough to drive into town to pick up groceries or get a meal. We have a "you pick them" blueberry farm when in season. We are pet friendly! If you have a pet please add the pet Extra at checkout so you will be charged a $20 pet fee ($10 for the trailers). We are close to hiking, horse trails, lakes and springs. Bocce Ball and Croquet is available to play here anytime! We are only a short distance away from amazing horse riding trails and Florida's most popular natural springs. We live on the property and are available during normal business hours. We are free to ask questions and give suggestions for surrounding activities and dining options. We will interact as little or as much as you need. Birds singing in the morning and crickets at night ensure a restful getaway here. Boondock parking/tent camping spot or bunkhouse accommodations located in north central Florida lake country with an 'old Florida' feel, at homeowner Host's parcel on a small lake (private, i.e., no public access) that offers fishing, swimming (sandy-bottomed), birdwatching, and plenty of outdoor seating. HipCamp listings provided by an experienced, highly rated Host on other lodgings platforms, and fellow van-life traveler. Lakefront property is located in between Hawthorne and Interlachen out in the wooded countryside (decidedly rural) on a dead-end road as it turns to dirt -- usually very peaceful and quiet. Central location serves as a good base camp for day trips to the ocean beaches at either the Atlantic or the Gulf Coast, the manatees at various springs, or Ocala horse country. Variety of shops and restaurants are located in Gainesville to the west or Palatka to the east, both an easy drive on S.R. 20. BOONDOCKING SITE: Must be self-contained and leave no trace. Accepting only one camping guest vehicle at a time. The homeowner property is fenced with drive-through wing gates, host will greet you upon arrival so you can choose your spot either in the shade or in the sun or somewhat in between as the sandy ground slopes gently to the private lake. Best for vans, SUVs, or those with car and tent. Please inquire regarding compact RVs -- due to overhanging branches of oak shade trees, and limited size of the 0..66 acre lot, cannot accommodate large RVs or travel trailers. Potable water available from the yard's garden hose, but cannot offer power, and there's no public restroom or dump station. Small bags of trash or two can go in our communal covered trash bin. BUNKHOUSE OPTION: Charming dry-camp lakefront cottage (no running water) with basic electrical (cannot handle high-draw electrical devices like heaters or A/C units) has a van-life type camp toilet (bag #2, collect urine/#1; proper disposals supported by Host), jug of local spring water for drinking, bed options include a new twin mattress in upper sleeping loft and a new cot-width padded chaise lounge below (clean fitted bottom sheet and pillowcase provided per stay). Guests provide their own towels and toiletries. Some basic camping kitchen/household items provided. Guests are welcome to use the homeowner Host's vintage rowboat, kayaks, communal firepit, and/or wooden dock. Or there's a small tire-rim firepit by the shorefront. Firewood bundle with kindling available for a small fee. Not best property for traveling with pets, may be negotiable on a case-by-case basis, due to homeowner's dog (communicate directly with Host prior to booking). Guest pets would have to remain on tether at all times while on premises. Also, why care with gates must be practiced, such as securely latched and closed after going in or out, due to homeowner Host's dog.
