One camper available in this central location with excellent fishing and restaurants nearby. The bedroom is where the Queen size bed is. There are bunks and a counch in the the common area. Our camper sleeps four and it is on our private property. Our camp offers great air-conditioning, chairs, an awning, some shade, some sun, and a fire pit. The beds have clean sheets and we offer some dishes, pots n pans, a few CDs, blankets, pillows, toilet paper, and ice trays in the lil freezer. The Palatka area has restaurants, laundromats, marinas, public fishing, grocery stores, and other retail shops. Satsuma proper, we love because we don't have to deal with traffic, and it's close to St. Johns river where professionals and amatures alike, can go boating or catch bass from land or boat. We are 34 miles from St. Augustine and 44 miles from Daytona (just over 45 min drive to either historic/fun place). Come back to Hoot Owl Ridge to relax!

We stayed in cottage, it was very sweet and cozy. The hosts live onsite and were very kind and welcoming to us and our pup. Very dog friendly! We were provided with all the small comforts and amenities you’d find at any fine hotel, plus some sweet personal touches like a fire pit and access to an outdoor shower and fresh eggs from the chickens. We really enjoyed our stay here!

This was an amazing little gem! The owners were amazing! They greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us around the property! They checked in on us throughout our stay and provided some extra firewood as we needed it! There were chickens running around and we were able to have fresh eggs in the mornings! We were able to set up a tent to accommodate some extra guests and we brought our pup who loved the property! We made some incredible meals and the camper has all the cookware, dinnerware, and seasonings you need! They also left us stuff to make s’mores! We really enjoyed the outdoor shower and the bathroom was surprisingly clean! We will definitely be back and we would definitely recommend!

1 night at The Olde salt Springs Camp

We had a great time at the cabin and our dogs did too! We decided to come out for some star gazing and it was fantastic! We worried about canopy coverage being in the forest but there is enough of a clearing around the house from trees for a wonderful view of the sky and caught a bit of the orionids shower. The light pollution is minimal compared to most the rest of the state unless you go into Kissimmee Prairie National Park, but we really appreciated having the private fenced in space for our 2 dogs. The beds are comfortable, the ac works well and the fans in the bedrooms were very appreciated. Having to walk outside to get to the bathroom helps you feel like your still camping but the bathroom was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using the firepit to make dinner and loved to disconnect for a while. The DVD collection was great and we would love to camp here again in the future. Thanks Hope!

Absolutely incredible stay! The Treehouse Cabin Retreat exceeded every expectation the perfect mix of comfort and nature. The cabin and treehouse are spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need, from kitchen essentials to comfy bedding. The property is peaceful, surrounded by towering trees and the soothing sounds of nature. We loved the outdoor shower under the stars, the firepit for s’mores, and the hammocks for lazy afternoons. It’s close to the Suwannee River and crystal-clear springs, which made day trips for swimming and kayaking so easy. The host was responsive, kind, and made everything simple from start to finish. As a family of 4 we enjoyed our 1 night stay. The RV was comfortable and we appreciated the stocked kitchen. There is a slight musty smell but I think that is to be expected with it sitting back there. The outdoor space is small but could fit an additional tent. Somewhat private. We loved the fire pit, a great place to tell spooky stories and roast marshmallows!

Our stay at the Olde Salt Spring Cabin was everything we were looking for, and we’re so grateful we found it. The cabin was spotless and welcoming, with fresh sheets on the beds and a cozy, homey feel. We loved being able to cook our own meals, and the thoughtful touches — like the collection of DVDs — made it even more enjoyable. Our daughter had the best time exploring the outdoors, and our dogs loved having the freedom to run around the big open space. It was peaceful and family-friendly, but also convenient with a Dollar General just 7 minutes away. We even had perfect cell service, so we felt tucked away in nature without being completely disconnected. Thank you immensely for providing the cabin with everything we could possibly need. It truly felt like the perfect glamping experience, and we’d love to come back again!
