This was our first time using Hipcamp and we were a little apprehensive staying on private property. It couldn't of gone more perfectly. Kenny called before we got there with instructions. What wonderful hosts! So nice and accomodating. Also the place is just wonderfully set up. Between the hottub, lights, shed with washer, dryer, and cooktop AND an outdoor movie theater (that is also screened in), they thought of everything. Also, randomly the absolute cleanest port-a-potty I've ever used, haha. This is a great place hosted by an amazing couple! Highly recommend.

If you’re trying to see the St. Augustine area, Karin’s place is a fantastic option. It is minutes away from the historic district, Vilano Beach, and Anastasia Island. We had a group of teenage girls, they loved the hot tub and outside shower. The shed had all the amenities of a hotel room plus a range. The yard is full of lovely garden beds and motion sensor lights for that late night trip to the restroom. You should know that the property is near US1, several trains will go by, and there is an active airport close to the property, BUT, we would all go back tomorrow. I’ve been more disturbed by hotel ac units. This was my first HipCamp experience, I would recommend the app and Karin’s spot to anyone with full confidence.

Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Amelia River, this Nassau County city sits on Amelia Island. Due to this unique location, Fernandina Beach presents campers with Northeast Florida’s top trails, golf courses, and vistas. Trailblazers will love exploring Florida’s wildlife while on a nature tour of Egan’s Creek Greenway Trail. Fort Clinch State Park

Talbot Island

Just below Fernandina Beach—and Amelia Island, for that matter—Talbot Island yet again merges landscapes. Less than 30 minutes south of your Fernandina Beach campsite, you’ll leave one island and enter another. Enjoy a picnic, swim, or hike at Big Talbot Island State Park.
