Short drive from universal studios. We were able to park right near the porta potty as I always have to make a run for it in the mornings. This place has so many birds! We saw a duck family, a big dancing sunbathing black loon? And a crane family! Made up of mom, dad and two fuzzy babies. This is an amazing place for bird watchers that's for sure. And no mosquitoes! We came at the end of March and would love to return someday. Thank you for sharing your property with us!!!

Love this campsite! If you are not confident you can go camping in a tent but want to try, this is the spot for you! Includes electric and bathrooms and firewood and chairs. The place is private and cozy and clean.

We were looking for a fun place to take our grandkids for their first camping experience and The Goat Farm did not disappoint! Mike and Kathryn were gracious and fun hosts. The kids loved getting to feed and play with all the animals, especially baby Tiger Lily, and hunting for bowling balls!. We might make it an annual trip so we can see the animals grow up and grow in numbers.

This place was awesome! This was my first time using hipcamp and it was a blast. The sites were nice and quant, it was real peaceful, you can walk around and hike the property at your leisure, everyone was very friendly Jimmy was awesome very communicative and got us everything we needed. Gray Rock Cove is a beautiful 9.46 acre slice of old natural Florida. There’s room to stretch out and plenty of wildlife to see (plus some Barn Kitties who are employed as rodent control). Mostly grassy land with some old growth oaks and saw palmettos, while the back/North third of the property is a beautiful undisturbed Florida Wetlands with a small floating dock to enjoy some of the pristine scenery from. RV hookups (50a Power w/ 30a adapter, water, sewer) along a gravel RV pad, while there's also plenty of room for tent camping instead. A short drive to Mt. Dora, Eustis, Ocala, and The Villages. Easy access from the main road to reach the site. There's a 2-lane paved county road along the front of the property, with a dense greenery barrier blocking view of the road from most everywhere on the land. There is a small bathroom building with toilet, sink, and shower. No standard outlet (110v) power access other than a few outlets in the bathroom and utility room (available for phone charging if needed, but nothing high-amperage). We do have numerous water spigots sprinkled throughout the property (unfiltered well water). There's a spot for a campfire near the bathroom building and the campsite. There will be a patio table set and chairs, two plastic Adirondack Chairs near the water along with an old Jon Boat with paddles you're welcome to take out to explore the water with. It's all pretty shallow, mucky and plant filled like you'd expect a wetlands to be, but beautiful and peaceful nonetheless.

When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm. We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee. Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on. In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us. Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property. Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be. 5 J’s Camp is completely private 2.5 acres that backs the Ocala National Forest in Umatilla . This our family getaway, we are a family of 5 and we all have names that start the letter J. There are endless places to put a tent including by the lake, or completely private areas, or by the common areas to be close to a bathroom and kitchen and pavilion, water and electric. The amenities include a pavilion with an outside kitchen, dinning and living area. There is also a ( large shed converted to a ) cook shack with a full size fridge, microwave, electric burners and a toaster oven. There is also a bathroom with a full-size shower/tub, hot water and a toilet. It comes with all of the basics to be comfortable while you camp. Also, you have a good chance of being alone. we usually only book 1 party at a time, Just message me to confirm. The property has enough lighting to completely light up the common area. There is also water and electric all over the property. There is a shooting range right outside of the property that is part of the forest. There is Blue Sink several miles away, it is a spring feed swimming hole that is deep enough for SCUBA. There is horse trails and OHV trails as well. This camp was a hunting camp and still has an huge animal cleaning station on the back side of the property, with water, drainage, power, lighting and all stainless steel sinks and counters. Come to play and explore or come to relax. Our camp is always (slowly)being Improved, you might see work in progress so be aware there may be a consolidated area that looks messy. This is a camp, everything gets dusty, and there are bugs. We keep the yard kept up and do what we can to limit bugs in the common area. I recommend a 4x4 although I don’t own one my self. The roads are usually decent, but the weather has a lot to do with roads in the forest.

Fiddlers Green is a former Mounted Police Training Ranch and is in park-like setting just at the southern edge of the Ocala National Forest but close by to many activities, shops and amenities. You will have the option of an available site for your length of stay, to camp under live oaks or in our field depending on your amperage service needs. Per Site Cost: (all sites have full hook-up of water, septic and 30 or 50 amp electric, fire-ring and a picnic table) and is for 2 adults and up to 4 children under 16, (each additional adult is $5.00 per night) max of 4 adults per site. Max of 2 vehicles per site, besides your rig. A few tent sites are also available. Amenities include: a single bath house, laundry and a recreation building with ping pong, TV area and table games. We boarder the Ocala National Forest with it's 100 miles of trails for hiking, biking, fishing, OHV and horseback riding. Alexander Springs is the closest among many to snorkel, canoe and/or swim in 72* crystal clear water year round. Mt. Dora, Umatilla and Eustis are within 20 mins for restaurants, shops, golf and antiques, etc. If you have any questions your hosts will be happy to help. Choose a site to book - this may not be the actual site that you will have due to the booking calendar. You may be able to change once you arrive if other sites are available for your length of stay. Fiddlers Green reserves the right to change sites to accommodate more guests.
