Your first morning at the Grand Oaks reveals the staccato sounds of horses trotting or the silent unfolding of a fly rod. You are enveloped in the distinctive ambiance offered by hundreds of oak-shaded acres in Florida’s scenic horse country.
Visitors arriving from all corners of the globe have found The Grand Oaks to be perfectly located in Central Florida. Guests treasure this boutique resort destination ideal for Olympic-level horse shows, vacations, sports training, corporate retreats, weddings, and much more. On-site accommodations range from our 1 and 2-bedroom Villas to the Oak Tree Lodge which sleeps 12 and can serve as a private “resort within a resort.” The resort is also home to a big-rig-friendly RV site with full hookups, including water, sewer, and electricity (30 & 50 amp). Guests can keep connected with free WIFI, and a laundry facility, or keep on the move with a golf cart rental.
For guests staying on the property, as well as visitors and locals, we have The Bistro, our very own restaurant on the property. The Bistro serves lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. They feature an extensive ‘American cuisine’ menu, beautiful views, a full bar, and nightly specials. The Bistro also offers on-site catering for parties and events being held in one of our banquet halls or galleries.
The Grand Oaks Resort is the ideal equine sports venue, as well as a variety of other sports. We have stocked catch and release lakes, a golf driving and chipping lane, walking and biking paths, and nearly 400 acres of land that can be utilized for so many different sporting events, such as The Muddy Princess that has been held with us, in past years.

Guests visiting to enjoy riding the grounds, competing in horse shows, or taking part in equestrian clinics will love the convenient equestrian facilities available. Many of our cottages and estate homes feature private stables, and the Resort’s stalls and paddocks are easily accessible to all guests. COTTAGES
The Grand Oaks Resort boasts 30 modern, yet quaint, equine-inspired cottages (or villas, as we often refer to them). The cottages are nestled under the granddaddy oaks, towards the front of the property, giving easy access to the resort’s amenities (such as the fishing lakes, golf cart rentals, chipping and driving golf range), the main office, The Bistro, and Marion County Road. The cottages are an assortment of 1 and 2 bedrooms, cozy homes equipped with:

Our RV Park combines the equine-inspired elegance the Resort is celebrated for with the convenience of RVing. This facility was uniquely designed in keeping with the character and mission of being one of America’s finest equestrian resorts. Additionally, our guests have access to hundreds of acres of trails, groomed outdoor space, fly fishing, as well as The Grand Oaks’ arena and equestrian facilities.
Our RV sites were built with the needs and desires of our traveling equine guests, as well as recreational vehicles who desire large spacious pull-through and back-in sites. All 60 of our 35’ wide sites boast 65’ and 85’ lengths, full hook-ups, paved roads, concrete pads and patios, as well as Wi-Fi. For our equestrian guests we offer a few grass sites with all the other amenities, plus stalls and paddocks are available for their equine traveling companions. THE BISTRO AT GRAND OAKS RESORT
Every great resort needs a great restaurant, and The Bistro is ours. A popular dining destination for Grand Oaks guests, event attendees, and area residents alike. The Bistro serves exceptional lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch dishes. Patio dining with amazing views is also available. Open Wednesday-Saturday, 11 am-8 pm and Sunday, 9am-2pm.
BISTRO LUNCH
The Bistro at the Grand Oaks offers a wide selection of tasty, American-style cuisine on their lunch menu. Cobb Salad lunch near The Villages, Florida from salads, like The Bistro salad with mixed greens and topped with strawberries, pecans, and blue cheese crumbles with a raspberry vinaigrette, to the Bistro Burger, with an Angus and short rib patty topped with fried mozzarella, marinara, lettuce, and tomato, you’re sure to find the perfect afternoon dish! For romantic dates, family gatherings, club meetings or a night out with friends, The Bistro will make any of these gatherings a truly special evening. Start your evening out with a cocktail or a glass of wine from the bar. Then, when your party is ready to dine, select a truly delicious dinner like the Penne Alla Vodka, made with house-made Alla Vodka sauce, or a juicy, 14oz Ribeye served with vegetables and mashed or baked potato.
