We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee. Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on. In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us. Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property. Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be. There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance. We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking. Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path. This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you. We allow campfires. Don't be surprised if you see a monkey or two in the trees... The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit. We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature. However, we don't recommend you go walking out into the swampy brush area, as there is a lot of Florida native wildlife like snakes and etc. and we want you to be safe. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Our property is gated and fenced off and extremely private. And no one can just walk on to our ranch. We live and work on the property ourselves, and are just a short walk or phone call away. This is a very private place, no close neighbors. Our goal is to give you all the space and privacy you need and or require. Most of our guests are here to participate at an event at the Daytona 500 track. Only 35 minutes to get to the track in Daytona. We understand that alot of our guests are driving from long distances to get here. We will work with you on check in times not to worry. There is a ton of space to park your vehicle and trailer if needed. We are on well water out here in the country.

Very peaceful at night after the activity calms Awesome view of the stars. Fire pit and charcoal grill. Firewood available for a small fee. Chairs for sitting and talking or quietly relaxing. During the day you can relax and read or interact with the goats, the donkey, the chickens and best of all the little pig. Eggs and Goat milk soap of all different scents to choose from. Eggs also for a small fee for cooking. Best of all my little dog was free off leash. You must keep them under control though. No chasing the other animals. Their dog and mine got along pretty good after they got to know each other. It was like camping out on a little farm. Canopys of Old Oak trees, large enough to go off to the less active areas or closer to the animals and friendly environment. The hosts are so wonderful. One of the best HipCamp's I've stayed at. We loved it!!!

Great stay. Lots of room for my dog to roam, and tons to see. Lots of animals, a full size pet pig and a family of goats with babies next door! Sean checked in on me and was available if I needed anything (which I did not). I had no issues with the 30a power. I will definitely be back!

Highly recommend staying here. The site we stayed at was beautiful, the trees with the moss hanging from them and the vegatation around the site made it feel very woodsie, nice size site as well. Pretty neat stuff to gander at on the property. The host James is wonderful to communicate with! We have already booked another stay in January and we are very excited to go back! There are trails for walking, biking and horseback riding right next door. A highly recommended drive through nature trail about 15 minutes from the sight. Just remember, your in the woods, there ARE bugs and mosquitoes be prepared if you go during warmer nights

Nice property and the people were very nice over the phone I arrived late and had to leave early for work so I didn't get a chance to meet them but well taken care of property and had what we needed. I did feel it may be a little pricey compared to other sites I've been too especially because I arrived late and left early I felt I paid a lot for 9 hours but that's my own fault for having a busy schedule I am glad it's same day bookings but it was far from where I work but the closet one to me with same day bookings I hate the 24 hour notice that most sites do so kudos there for sure thanks guys maybe sometime again soon I hope to stay longer next time.

Beautiful plot of land! Gorgeous trees. It was cool to be near the donkeys/horses. Tracey is a great host! The land is close enough to downtown Mt. Dora to bike in if you are ok crossing the highway and pedaling up a few hills.

Wow…! My husband and I stayed here for 3 days over Thanksgiving and we absolutely loved it. Our campsite was secluded and beautiful, the portos were clean, and the owner is what makes this place a real gem. James is genuinely one of the most helpful and generous people I’ve met in Florida so far. We ran into some technical issues with our power station, and James helped us in every possible way — from letting us use his solar panels and generator to even helping us charge it at his house. He was attentive, responsive, and provided firewood whenever we needed (for a fee). We’re so grateful for everything he did, and we will 100% be back in the future. I highly recommend staying here. The only heads-up is that if you plan on using Starlink or similar setups, there isn’t the clearest sky view. We were able to get it working, and I was able to work, but there were some interruptions from tree cover — just something to be aware of.

Really enjoyed our time here. The site had plenty of space, the pizza oven and screened area was a great addition. Multiple access points for our hammocks, even had our very own trail and camp cat! 10/10 getaway into nature and solitude

The campsite was beautiful and the motion sensor solar lights were an awesome help at night. The tree cover keeps the campsites cool and shady. They have lots of cool things to see. The kids loved seeing the animals and being able to explore the camground freely. I would also recommend visiting wakiva springs while youre in the area!
