Very nice spot, easy to find and a comfortable place to stay. Less then an hour from cape canaveral and cocoa beach! Very little traffic noise 👍🏻 would stay again!

2 nights at Sandy's Swamp land in Florida

We came out for our 1 year anniversary and had a blast! Huge fish! A zip line. Nice screened in area with chairs and a porte potty. We went adventuring in the woods which we love to do! We will definitely be back here! Sandy was the perfect host and answered all the questions we had and could recommend great places to check out!!! Thank you for the hospitality!! Almost forgot, perfectly private! 😁

Love this campsite! If you are not confident you can go camping in a tent but want to try, this is the spot for you! Includes electric and bathrooms and firewood and chairs. The place is private and cozy and clean.

Weekend Trip to Sandy's Swamp land in Florida

We had a wonderful time camping in the woods. There were 4 of us, two of us have not slept in tents in decades. During our entire stay, we did not run into any other campers. In the morning we even used the canoe to see some of the birds and scenery in the area. Over all we had an even greater time than anticipated. One of the best features was how secluded the area felt.

Very invite and cool place making you feel like you are out in the wild being so close to anything you need. Host Julie was super nice and helpful. Would recommend for a night or weekend stay.

Sandy was very accommodating. When we arrived she did a great job showing us around so we knew where everything was. We enjoyed camping here. It was quiet and had all the amenities we were looking for. We did a short weekend getaway. We would come back again.

Craig was such a wonderful host, he told us about a rocket lauch to see from the streat and a few other remarkable things. The place is equipped with 30/50 amp., water and sewer. And a very good italien restaurant around the corner 👍😄 Absolutely great, thanks to Graig and Lauren. Highly recommended.

I loved this hipcamp so much. It is very close to the north entrance into Merritt Island Wildlife Preserve. So much to do around that area. I travel in a Ford Transit van and I had my little area of the yard with picnic table and fire ring.

What a peaceful splendid place to escape the day to day craziness. Sandy’s little paradise is nothing short of a paradise Walked around the property up and down the road Sandy herself was timely and very pleasant she gave us a tour of the property as well as her dome building. I will 100% be coming back to this location again probably when the weather cools off again.

7 nights at A bit of paradise camping

We had a beautiful spot overlooking the Indian River and directly across from Kennedy Space Center. We got to see a satellite launch and we’re visited by dolphins while enjoying our coffee on the dock. David was very accommodating without being intrusive and provided access to an indoor bathroom with hot shower. This site was a little hard to locate so get there before dark. Individual sites were not really marked but wasn’t a problem as we were the only ones there

2 nights at Sandy's Swamp land in Florida

100% stay here! It is off the beaten path, tranquil, stunningly beautiful, safe, and fun as well! I enjoyed canoeing around the swamp, zip lining, a campfire, eating breakfast on the ropes course platform amongst the trees and spirits, doing yoga on the floaty boat/dock, and walking the trails looking at all the gorgeous flora. Sandy was attentive, so very helpful, and also gave solitude and privacy. Such a gem for back woods camping. Loved it and will be back. Oh… and do eat at the line cabbage at sunset.

Perfect site for our weekend getaway! Host was fantastic with providing all the info needed for a smooth check in. Full hook ups are always a plus. Neighborhood was great for a relaxing walk with our pup. Location was top notch! Can’t wait to return.

Sandy’s land was a perfect blend of adventure and comfort. The fire pit was great for cozy evenings, and the screen room kept us sheltered from bugs while offering a nice space to relax and place our tent. The toilet was also easily accessible and clean, which was a big plus. The zipline was an exciting and unexpected highlight, and the kayaks were provided for water exploration. Overall, a fantastic spot for a memorable camping experience!

4 nights at Space Coast Camping

Was nice place to stay. I stayed a few nights seen 2 rockets shoot off. You are close to the space center and to cocoa beach. But it's just outside the busy area so you don't hear traffic or any other noise. Has water hookup which is nice. Few bugs but nothing unexpected or overwhelming. I would definitely stay another night. Also a plus there is a home in the circle with art cars and a fun lit up house at night. Everyone I met including the host were very nice. I might try to move to the area I was very impressed. Thank you again.

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location. But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future. However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families. As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch. You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you! We have 3 acres right in the middle of town in New Smyrna Beach. It's a quiet setting behind Sacred Heart church, sandwiched between a large open field and the railroad tracks far in back behind trees. We've worked hard to make it a cozy retreat - like setting where people can spend a few nights in an affordable manner just 5 minutes from the beaches and fun New Smyrna Beach attractions. Biking, boating, sunning, fishing, paddle-boarding, kayaking, eating... all within a few minutes of your quiet retreat. Our house is on the property but it's 200 feet away behind trees/bushes. It's a 100 year old house built from the wood of a church in NSB. Lifted up on a Coquina rock wall it is quite unique. There is a large secluded area where your dogs can be run. We have dogs too but there's plenty of room to share.
