Welcome to Smokey Acres! This property has been in my family for decades. My Husband and I were married under the oaks and have had our share of campfires out there. Down a hidden gravel drive with wetlands on either side you will find a completely fenced in field surrounded by pine, oak, and swamp maple trees. There are two ponds located on the property both stocked with bass, bluegill, and sunfish. The front pond is home to many natural Florida wildlife and is a great location to bird watch. Located a few miles from Brooksville and the Suncoast Parkway, this quiet and peaceful setting is just 5 minutes from the parking area and trailhead for the Suncoast Trail and 10 miles from the famous Weeki Wachee Springs, where you can spend the day at the local park or float down the river with the manatees. Withlacoochee State Park and other natural preserves with trail access and kayaking are only a short distance away, and Dames Cave, Homosassa Springs, and Chasawiska Springs are all within a ~20-minute drive as well. Spending a day at the beach is easy with plenty of options along the Nature Coast. We’re also less than an hour from Tampa and Clearwater and two hours from Orlando. A perfect weekend get-away for anyone looking to “unplug,” Smokey Acres is also a great stop for those passing through the area. We are a close distance to many racing, livestock, boating and fishing events. We have no problem accommodating whatever you’re towing! Whether you'd like a leisurely day on the river or an adventure in the Gulf, there are plenty of boating options nearby. Be sure to make it back to the property in time to enjoy amazing sunsets that bring peace and tranquility to your experience. Our neighbors, JG Ranch, offers U- Pick Fruit and Vegetables or a great selection of local harvest at their roadside stand. This 10-acre property has been in my family for decades. My Husband and I were married under the oaks and have had our share of campfires together out there. I've recently moved back home with my own family and as much as we enjoy the land for ourselves we'd love to share it. Any profit from hosting campers will help us maintain our sustainable farm that we're hoping to expand onto Smokey Acres. Just in! Our dirt road has been repaved. So no worries about a bumpy drive in!

Stay by a lovely pond on 33 acre fruit and ornamental tree nursery property with great vibes. Located near I-75 just 20 miles South of Tampa, 35 miles east of Saint Petersburg, 35 miles North of Sarasota, 2 hours West of Orlando. This property is home to a farm/nursery operation and has a large pond on the west side. The pond is Spring-fed at the headwaters of Marsh Branch Creek which begins at our property and flows West about five miles in to Tampa Bay. Approximately 33 private acres allows for plenty of space between our campsites. Property is home to a farm with hundreds of fruit trees- Lychee, Mango, Starfruit, Papaya, Guava). Red Mombin, and thousands of banana plants. Fishing can be great, wildlife and bird watching too. Fenced and gated for safety, this old historic nursery property has good vibes and plenty to offer. Until you see it - you really may not understand. Parts of property are wide open, other areas are rugged and difficult to walk through including some wetland areas. The nursery has plenty of trees, and some fields -the large pond is surrounded by cattails and marsh/wetlands and has fish (Bass, Tilapia, Sunfish, Catfish). Several species of wildlife have been seen on the property. We think the property is lovely, and definitely want you to enjoy your camping experience!

Don't stay in the middle of another loud, packed campground. Enjoy the peace and quiet that only comes from staying in a quiet rural setting with absolutely NO other campers onsite. At Koblasz Farms, the value is in the privacy. You get the property to yourself, guaranteed. Walk with the animals. Talk with the animals. Koblasz Farms is one of the few farms remaining in Seminole County, and the only breeder of registered Scottish Highland Cattle. These beautiful girls are part of the oldest registered breed of cattle in the world. They will take your breath away as they mingle in your surrounding pastures. If you are lucky, you may even see one born. Few things in life are cuter than Scottish Highland calves, unless you ask the mini-donkeys or the goats that will do their best to convince you otherwise. Feeding experiences available. And wildlife abounds. You can expect to see deer, wild turkeys, eagles, hawks, cormorants, cranes, turtles, and other wildlife. We are conveniently located 40 minutes from Disney, an hour from Daytona Beach, 50 minutes from New Smyrna Beach, and 20 minutes from downtown Orlando. We are also minutes away from parks for hiking, picnicing, kayaking and canoeing on the Little Wekiva River including the Wekiva River State Park, Katie's Landing, and Wekiva Landing.

Come stay with us! Private RV and tent camping next to an acre sized pond in a woodsy warren just 1 mile off US 27 near Sun Ray, Florida. Situated at the Southern end of the beautiful rolling hills of the Lake Wales Ridge and part of Florida's wildlife corridor we're very centrally located to many of Florida's attractions. Frostproof, Lake Clinch. and Lake Reedy are just 10 mins away. Lake Clinch is a beautifully clear 1200 acre lake with a sandy beaches, pavilions, and a boat ramp, and Lake Reedy is a 3500 acre lake, both with consistent largemouth bass fishing, with anglers also catching warmouth, bluegill, and other species. Neither of the lakes are EVER that crowded even in the height of Snow Bird season! Other closeby attractions include: 15 miles to Sebring Raceway or Bok Tower Gardens 20 miles to Legoland, Walk-in-the-Water Preserve, or the River Ranches 25 miles to the Chain-of-lakes in Winter Haven 45 miles from Disney 60 miles from Tampa 80 miles from the Space Coast The property is located in Florida's wildlife corridor and there are short walking or biking trails that weave through and all around our pine forested acreage where all types of Florida wildlife; grey heron, sandhill crane, wild turkeys, bobwhite quail, armadillos, racoon, even have some otter have been spotted... even Florida's endangered Panther has been spotted recently just a few of miles away at the Kissimmee Preserve... we've never seen an alligator on the property or in the pond, but this is Florida, so use caution around any body of water. Several tent sites and two Rv sites available.

We opened to the public on Labor Day 2014. Most people come to stay either in our rental cottage or in their horse trailers/RVs with their horses to ride the awesome trails in the 20,000+ acre adjacent Croom Forest. However, because our ranch is so peaceful, many stay here without horses just to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are many opportunities to recreate in the area, including outstanding mountain and road biking, OHVing, hiking, golfing, and canoeing/kayaking. Many full-time and working RVers stay for extended periods. Note that our camping area is small and intimate, so you will be close to other campers. We have 5 30-amp hookups, and 2 50-amp hookups; if you need 50-amp service, please request it. Note that a minimum of a 2-night stay will typically be required on weekends, especially during our busy season. WiFi is available, but we call it "Country WiFi" since it sometimes can be slow and may or may not be accessible from where you are parked; also, Verizon cell service in our area is terrible. If internet access is important to you, we suggest having your own hotspot or internet service (many working RVers have Starlink). Note that GPS can be very mean in our rural area; make sure your turn off Highway 50 is onto paved High Corner Road, which is 2 miles west of I-75 (if GPS tries to turn you down unpaved, dead-end roads, DO NOT LISTEN..you will get stuck!).
