Weekend Trip to Lucky U Ranch

We had a great time at Lucky U Ranch and will definitely be back! The bathrooms, showers, coffee bar, and dishwashing station were absolutely next level and set a new standard for camping. Rob and Mike also did a great job thinking of little things that made this day even more enjoyable. And of course, interacting with the animals was great fun for our whole group. We are frequent campers and brought along first timers - this was a great place to “break them in“ 🤓 We’re looking forward to our next visit!

This spot was great! It was tucked back into a country setting while still being minutes from anything we needed. We saw deer at night. There were cows and chickens on the drive to his property. Bobby was very nice and super responsive with communications. We stayed for several nights. It was quiet and peaceful.

Weekend Trip to Lakefront Downtown Orlando

My time at Lakefront Downtown Orlando was phenomenal! The hosts Julian and Jason were extremely friendly, and the space they provide is excellent. The house was perfectly clean, and had a nice kitchen to prepare some meals and chat a bit, a chilling living room to rest, a complete mosquito-proof swimming pool... And the designated camping/RV area was quite wide, plus the lake view (or even activities!) looked great. Besides all that, and very important for me, the place is within walking distance to Camping World Stadium (where the festival I was attending was held): a very cheap ride, or a ~30 min walk. You also have a Walmart across the road, very convenient. But above all, the ambient there was in the house with other RVs' and rooms' guests was super chill and friendly --in part I'm sure because of the great vibe of our festival, but also due to what Julian, Jason, and the house transmitted!

1 night at Yurt Glamping Nature in the City

We loved our stay at Ellen’s yoga yurt! It was better than I even could have expected, and was such the perfect little spiritual retreat. We opted to add on the Kundalini Yoga and Sound Bath experiences and are SO happy that we did. These are the kind of experiences you usually have to travel out of the country for. I truly loved the design and the decorations, and especially all of the sound bowls and instruments I got to play with while I was there. The gong and the rain stick were a few of my favorites. The tree house was another super fun addition, and climbing up into it took me back to my childhood. It was truly magical and I can’t wait to come back again. Thank you, Ellen 🙏🏼🧘🏼‍♀️🕉️

This place was by far the best place we ever camped! The campsite was secluded, but very close to the rest rooms and showers. The restrooms and showers were very clean and well stocked. They even provided towels if needed. The horses and donkeys were so friendly and very fun to have around! My grandson had a fantastic first camping trip and cannot wait to come back! We very much enjoyed the tour of the farm and Lucy was the best part! Rob and Mike were the best hosts and very knowledgeable about all the animals! It was a blast!

First off, Rob and Mike are amazing hosts! They went above and beyond with their ranch for the animals and the camping side of the property! There is so much thought that went into this camp site, from small details to large details you can feel the love they put into everything so their guests can enjoy camping but also be given the glamping experience with the bathroom with operational plumbing, heated showers, soaps, shampoos, clean towels, kitchen stocked with hot coco, coffee and automatic lights that light up as you approach the bathroom / kitchen area. The property is so large and there are many camp sites from covered car ports for rvs, campers to tent sites and open sites for rvs and campers. Rob and Mike gave us a tour of the ranch and introduced us to the farm animals the day we were leaving, took time out of their day refreshing the camp sites to accommodate us before we left. The only downside here was that we only booked a single night, we wish we had more time to stay and explore the ranch and the area. I cannot recommend Lucky U Ranch enough, my wife and I will definitely be back and stay longer so we can enjoy the property, trails and the free ranging animals that come visit your campsite. Thank you Rob and Mike, we see the passion the both of you put into everything on lucky u ranch! Hope to see you again soon!

Rob and Mike were exceptional hosts. Their property is large, quiet, and a great sample of "old Florida." We made a point of checking out all of the camp sites. This place is absolutely fantastic. The campsites are so well maintained, the scenery is incredible & Paul is the best (make sure you get to hear one of his jokes after you check in). There are beautiful longhorns roaming around the campsites and goats in a pen you can go feed. Oh and the bathrooms? Impeccable. So clean and very nice. Truly cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back!!!

It was a wonderful relaxing stay! Dona was a fantastic host and the tour was amazing! To see that many foxes up close, to feed them eggs was a bucket list moment!! Relaxing on the porch listening to the melodic howl of the papa new guinea dingo was something I didn’t know I needed in my life!! Also, the horses literally running around playing together is something I have never seen despite staying at horse sanctuaries before. Book now you won’t regret it!

Most people come to stay either in our rental cottage or in their horse trailers/RVs with their horses to ride the awesome trails in the 20,000+ acre adjacent Croom Forest. However, because our ranch is so peaceful, many stay here without horses just to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are many opportunities to recreate in the area, including outstanding mountain and road biking, OHVing, hiking, golfing, and canoeing/kayaking. Many full-time and working RVers stay for extended periods. Note that our camping area is small and intimate, so you will be close to other campers. We have 5 30-amp hookups, and 2 50-amp hookups; if you need 50-amp service, please request it.
