Come enjoy a quiet getaway at Healing Tree Homestead. Our 5 acres is close enough to I-75 and in-town amenities to be convenient but far enough away to offer a peaceful rest from the hustle and bustle of city life. The tent site has a clear view of the large pond and property, and the RV site is tucked between a banana circle and the nursery. We’re a working homestead that’s constantly growing and changing, and there are sheep, goats, chickens, a dog, cats and a bunch of kiddos, but we all have our own spaces away from the RV and tent campsites. Part of the property is a nursery, part of it is a young orchard, and most of it is used to free range our livestock. We work and live on site. If you would like to participate in feeding animals, planting trees or helping us prepare garden beds, we’d welcome the company. *Please note that we live off a dirt road that’s very bumpy and rural.

Tres Lagos Camping is part of the Florida agritourism initiative. Where travelers from all over the world come to experience and enjoy a different kind of florida. We’re a small 5 acre family farm involved in the cultivation and preservation of rare and endangered palms with many other edible tropical plants for our visitors to enjoy. You can view our palms at all stages of growth from seed to maturity. Enjoy our U-pick varieties of mangos, Caribbean cherries, sugar cane, bananas, coconuts and we’re adding more all the time. There is even a sugarcane maze and bamboo gardens in progress for the kids and adults to enjoy. But don’t forget your veggies! Get up close and personal with where some of your medicines and vegetables come from. We have some small areas for education about different medicinal plants like Turmeric, ginger, saw palmetto and a few others. Take the tours or classes or just sit back and enjoy the view! Bratty Paws Dog Plex was great. We were greeted with a goodie bag for our pups. Watching a little of the training classes was fun. We were the only occupied RV there, so in the evening we had the ‘park’ setting to ourselves to run around the grass and get the dogs some exercise. We were there 3 nights and will definitely recommend it to friends.

Loved the secluded sites, they are even secluded from each other. I camped alone but each site could easily hold six or more tents. I would love to come back when the river is higher and paddle from camp.

2 nights at Rasayana Cove
My son and I stayed at Ramayana Cove while we were in town hunting at Razzor Ranch, and it was exactly what we were hoping for. The cabin is rustic, but more than sufficient—clean, comfortable, and a great place to recharge after long days outdoors.
The property itself is beautiful. What really stood out were the nighttime bonfires and the sky. With no light pollution, the stars were incredible—clear, bright, and endless. Sitting by the fire under that kind of sky with my son made for some memorable conversations and a true reset from everyday life.
If you’re looking for something polished and luxury-driven, this isn’t that. But if you want peaceful, natural, and authentic Florida outdoors with a quiet, unplugged vibe, this place delivers.
We’d absolutely come back.

We stayed in the Hideaway campsite with our 23 foot sprinter van. We loved the privacy and being surrounded by nature. The walk to the bathroom/shower area is very nice. There’s gardens and a Koi pond and a little tiki bar and a cobblestone-like walkway with patios. I would call this a community area. The bathroom was always clean and the outdoor shower although I was hesitant, was actually very nice with plenty of hot water and good flow. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Bell Oaks Ranch was an AMAZING place to stay! Plenty of room - quiet and beautiful.
I highly recomend and will definately stop and stay here again. Also - needed some repairs in Englewood and found a GREAT mobil RV repair guy - Ron with Englewood RV Repair. Thanks so much for the safe beautiful stay!

Silver Bullet Stables is a lively place. A variety of animals, including; horses, longhorn steers, donkeys, chickens, cats and dogs. Along with the neighboring bull and St Bernard and of course the wildlife and sunsets! They host horse riding lessons for the local 4H kids and others. Watching the crew work with the variety of horses, some newly acquired was fun. It is laidback and relaxing place, but so full of life! We thoroughly enjoyed both of our visits this winter and look forward to future stays.

Driving in I was sure the directions were incorrect, but on arriving, there it was. I'm guessing about 1 acre property, bounded on 2 sides by a tidal creek, and surrounded by bamboo. Very quiet and private. There is a deck to sit and enjoy the creek and surroundings.
