Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location.
But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future.
However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.
As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch.
You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you!

Park your van/small RV or pitch your tent on our rural homestead conveniently located 1000 ft off of US Hwy 1. Nearest I-95 exit is 3 miles away. Watch rocket launches, visit nearby beaches, attend NASCAR races, see local communities, relax at Canaveral National Seashore, birdwatch at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, fish Mosquito Lagoon, or visit the amusement parks of Orlando, we are a safe and quiet location from which to stage your adventures. It was beautiful at the green house, we stayed when it was still the edge of winter so the greenhouse heat was really nice in the morning. Open the windows and doors in the afternoon. The lights and atmosphere were too pretty. Dont forget a way to wash things ins like i did though

Great hosts! Very friendly. Awesome location, you can get to the local springs in 15-20 min. (Know before you go to the springs though, the parks all have their own idiosyncrasies)
Otherwise, the yurt was comfy for two people. Had a comfy queen sized mattress. The fire out with the Adirondack chairs was awesome at night, great view of the stars. It was a little cool (lows in the 50’s at night) for me, but they provided power to plug into so I was super comfy!

We had an amazing stay at this campground. Our cabin was comfortable and well equipped, and the on-site amenities like the huge pool, fire pits, and ice cream truck made it extra fun for the whole family. Being only minutes from Legoland was incredibly convenient, and we loved the chance to meet and chat with other campers around the property. We would definitely come back!
