Treehouse Magic is built around PAL an over 80+-year-old Ponderosa Pine.
This wonderful space is magical in every way! Only 300 sq. feet with an almost 1100 sq. foot deck, including the covered gnome room. The upstairs bedroom is a full mattress (14" gel mattress). There is also a fold-out couch to sleep 1. The main level couch will fold down and become another bed platform. We provide a CordaRoys transformable chair, that unzips and becomes the bed topper (plus extra sheets, blankets and pillows). Some of the kid guests like to sleep in the Gnome room in the "pop-up" tent and cots (during the Summer months). We provide a "smart movie projector" with built-in ROKU, for a movie night...The outdoor kitchen includes a PitBoss pellet smoker/grill, and propane griddle. The kitchen has a 2-burner gas stove and a small refrigerator. The bathroom has a Nature's Head composting toilet... We began this venture in 2012 by purchasing 35 acres overlooking a 7000 acre homestead that was sold to a developer who is selling acreage from 35 - 500 acre parcels. We are located on the beautiful eastern plains of Colorado southeast of Denver. Rolling hills dotted with Ponderosa pines that encourage wildlife to settle in. Pikes Peak, Longs Peak and Mount Evans are all visible on clear days. We have 35 acres and raised alpaca’s until recently, chickens, cats and dogs as well as a large garden. We are totally off grid and enjoy life in the home my husband built using trees he cut down and milled on his sawmill. We lived on the property in a 400sq ft cottage while building the house. We have numerous camping spots available in a small grove of Ponderosa Pines or on the plains if you want a clear view of the stars at night! A rustic outhouse is available close by as is a water hydrant. Parking is available close by.
We added the Bijou Tree House to our options a couple years ago! It is a one room cabin (sleeps 2on a queen size built in bed) with an incredible picture window that frames Pikes Peak beautifully. It is nestle among some old Ponderosa Pines; sports a cute but tiny wood burning stove; bar table in front of the window; deck with seating and a propane camp chef 2 burner stove. A hammock is available for use and private outhouse just a few feet away.
We love sharing our story, our home and the beautiful place God has gifted us with people from all over the world and hope to host you as well. Come Camp and relax. Watch and listen to the birds; the deer and antelope really do play here. Just this morning two little fawns were chasing each other through the gully. We are blessed with beautiful sunrises and sunsets; stars at night and an added bonus is our Farm Store where we showcase products made from our alpaca's, and trees my husband has cut down... !

The artwork (by Sabin, your host) covering the tent was exhibited at the McNichols Civic Center Building Downtown Denver a few years ago. Now it is enveloping your restful night under the starry sky of Colorado. The space offers you a coffee maker, a water kettle, water dispenser, BBQ and electricity. You will enjoy the delightful back side view of the famous Hogback mountain.
Just a few steps away from your campsite you will find our bath house with a clean portable toilet, hot shower and hand sink. You also will find a fridge inside, where you can keep your refreshments and your food fresh and cool. It is entirely made from reclaimed materials and it adds glamor and luxury to your glamping experience! To minimize our environmental impact, we use a greywater system. The liquid soap provided is a diluted, biodegradable formula that nourishes our garden as it drains. While it may feel lighter than conventional soap, rest assured it's gentle on both your skin and the environment.
We do our best to provide many of the comforts of a home for your "glamping" experience but make sure you are prepared to stay in the great outdoors which includes bugs and it is still camping. If you are afraid of bugs or occasional spiders this might not be for you. We cannot control the changes that both weather and the surrounding environment may cause. Although we provided an extra blanket and the tent has mosquito nets, we encourage bringing bug spray, warm clothes, flash lights, extra drinking water and other items you might need to make your stay pleasant. Please be aware of the weather and plan to dress accordingly. The bed is equipped with a heated mattress bed.

The hosts, the camp site, the backstory and the homey feel of this property has been the standout of my camping trip. Very blessed to have met these folks. The campsite is next to a pasture where horses and cattle roam and graze, a large shaded commons area for gathering or cooking kept things comfortable even in the summer heat. Absolutely beautiful land surrounding you with a view overlooking the flatirons and 14ers rising westward. Would definitely stay here again and support these hardworking farmers. Thanks Bonnie :)

Weekend Trip to Sunrise View Retreat
Such a gorgeous spot! Great for novice campers to get a more indoorsy experience while still secluded and cozy. They have everything you could need to enjoy your stay: water, chairs and picnic table, a few board games, butane stove and fire pit, etc. It does get warm on especially hot summer days but we propped the window open for a bit at night and it was perfect!

Absolutely loved staying here! It was so close to the Red Rocks venue that I made it from the parking lot to my campsite before the song I played was over. The hosts couldn’t be any nicer and accommodating. 10/10

This land is magical and in a picture perfect location. If you’re going to enjoy Red Rocks Amphitheatre and don’t want the commute - this is your place!
We took our E-bikes up to the show and back - it was perfect! Just be aware when riding back at night
The bathroom is crafted nicely with unique art and fixtures - Having the shower amenity was extremely helpful in the summer time .There is a fridge with designated spots to hold a few items. The bathroom is a clean outhouse. They even provide a few things like tampons, sunscreen, and bug spray in case you forgot.
For camping - some notes for future campers -
Make sure to bring your own water and bucket to do dishes after you cook
Both campsites are exposed to the sun (no shade) so I would definitely bring a pop up
Wind gets pretty bad so make sure to secure everything before leaving camp
We absolutely loved and enjoyed our time and can’t wait to come back to visit!

We loved visiting with Diane, her husband and all of her animals. It is a lovely stay and so happy to see the respect for the animals and our planet that Diane shows. We were in Elizabeth on business but might go back just to enjoy the views and a bit of nature. Thank you so much for such a wonderful time.

Site 4 was beautiful, private, and great for a big group. We couldn’t find the outhouse, and we did deal with some very loud neighbors, but besides that we had a great time. Rock climbing, wildlife sighting, watching the stars, this place is great. Even with no campfire

We all enjoyed the treehouse so much! There were activities for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, so no one was ever bored. The sleeping accommodations were comfortable, and the treehouse décor was absolutely adorable and thoughtfully designed.
The hosts had everything set up perfectly for movie nights, and we ended up having two during our stay—which the kids absolutely loved! The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed.
If you’re looking for a fun, unique, and memorable treehouse experience, I highly recommend checking this place out. We can’t wait to come back!
