Welcome to our charming 2-acre meadow nestled in East Boulder. Just minutes from town - near bike trails, shops and restaurants. A great pitstop on your way to or from the mountains - or base camp for the adventures in Front Range. We aren't fancy, but we are convenient, cozy and safe. Gate code will be provided 48 hours before arrival.
We have spots in the wide open meadow for Tents, Motorhomes, Vans, Trailers, and Rooftop setups. The grounds are a bit sloped but we've got leveling boards (please leave them behind).
We've got Boulder's best eggs, a few walking paths through tall wild grasses, a campfire ring, solar shower, small sink, gas grill, and a lovely porta-jon that’s cleaned weekly.
We can handle RVs up to 45 feet - truck and trailer. It’s a big field, but a narrow, winding and steep gravel ramp to get in and out.
We have a community fire pit with free burn wood, though the big logs are few and far between; your own firewood is recommended - as well as an ax or saw. If it's windy, please skip the fire... the BFD is very strict about this!!
We have well water feeding a solar shower (only hot when the sun shines) and sink (non potable unless you have a filter).
We have a wading / dog pool continually refreshed from the creek. It’s a saving grace in the summertime. 8/9/26- creek is currently dried up.
Please help yourself to eggs up at the coop - look for the Venmo QR. The chickens free range during the day, so please MIND YOUR DOG.

The hosts, the camp site, the backstory and the homey feel of this property has been the standout of my camping trip. Very blessed to have met these folks. The campsite is next to a pasture where horses and cattle roam and graze, a large shaded commons area for gathering or cooking kept things comfortable even in the summer heat. Absolutely beautiful land surrounding you with a view overlooking the flatirons and 14ers rising westward. Would definitely stay here again and support these hardworking farmers. Thanks Bonnie :)

This place was gorgeous. There is so much to explore right on site, both Dot and Byron make sure you understand how to safely stay there while ensuring a great time is had by all. It's fairly close to Lyons and a very pretty drive there if you need any supplies or a night out. We slept so well in our tent both nights with the stream and rain lulling us to sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils with an easy to use grill and burner system. We also had access to a gas fire pit. The stream was a nice cool dip after a long hike, and the small hike up to Balancing Rock was doable for our 6 and 8 year old with some beautiful views. This is definitely a step up from regular tent camping, but still provides a sense of adventure and resourcefulness found in the outdoors. We hope to return soon!!

We had a wonderful time here! Dot and Byron could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They’re wonderful people.
There was a group of 8 of us so we had the RV site, both wagons, one of the glamping tents, and the add-on teardrop trailer. It was late July, and we were very comfortable sleeping at night with nighttime temperatures dipping down to 60-62°F, and daytime temperatures were also quite comfortable, despite the nearly 100°F temperatures down in Lyons.
We slept in our RV, but the others in our party said that the beds were extremely comfortable in the wagons and tent, and that they slept very well.
For those of you with solar on your RV, the campsite gets pretty good sun from about 10-6 every day, so we had no trouble keeping our batteries topped off. We never needed to use our air conditioner, thanks to the elevation, so even in the height of summer, comfortable dry camping here for several days is quite doable.
This kind of camping is so much better than staying hubcap-to-hubcap in an RV park! We will definitely be back.

My mom and I stayed here for a night in the basecamp A-frame. Very peaceful with some rain so we got to see a rainbow since we were able to open up the side of the a frame overlooking a great view of the property. Stephanie was very friendly and answered any questions we had. Outdoor shower was excellent and porta potty was clean as well. Next time Im in Colorado.. I will definitely stay again!

We stayed 5 nights tent camping at A-Lodge and really enjoyed it. There is a steep, narrow hike up to the tent sites and you pass closely by other people’s tents to get to yours. We didn’t lug anything up that hill besides the tent and bedding as there’s not really space to set up chairs on your platform to hang out. They do have a few communal areas to hang out with some games, and they offer draft beer and other canned drinks for sale. There is a pool, hot tub, and a sauna; however the sauna was broken during our stay. The men’s restroom was always clean and there are 2 showers and 2 stalls inside. The other restrooms were labeled unisex and only one of those had a shower. My girlfriend had to wait in line most mornings to get a shower while the men’s was almost always empty. The only place on the property with air conditioning is the main office- as the private rooms and cabins were only given box fans for their windows. We read there were kitchens available for use, but the only thing we found was the grill under the pavilion and it was often in use. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed being close to town and within an hour drive of most of our vacation stops.
