The 2024 season offers your choice of 8 unique units with the option of a renting the main house for large events. The Classic - A container home that marries modern convenience with natural splendor. 2. Big Red - A cozy tiny home equipped with all the amenities, including a deck overlooking stunning vistas. 3. Sunshine - Discover paradise within a safari tent, featuring a private back room and grill for your indulgence. 4. Stargazer - Immerse yourself in nature's beauty within a safari tent beneath a canopy of pine and scrub oak. 5. The Family Glamper - With queen and bunk beds, a family of 4 fits nicely, and maybe 6 can squeeze in. The creek is a stone's throw away. 6. Braveheart - Find solace beside the creek in a bell tent or yurt, your off-grid hideaway featuring a camp toilet and creekside porch. 7. Beauty - Delight in the tranquility of a bell tent or yurt, your secluded sanctuary with an off-grid camp toilet and creekside porch. 8. Butterfly - Unplug and unwind in a safari tent, complete with off-grid privacy and a grill, a stone's throw away from the flowing creek. NEW for 2024: The house has been remodeled and is available for group outings. The 3/2 home has full kitchen and spacious living area with front and back decks for gatherings. Available for rent only with complimentary rentals of our glamping venues. Perfect for reunions, wedding parties, church or office retreats, and other large-group gatherings. Our standard extras include a second vehicle, extra guests, propane service, early arrival or late check out, and pets. But consider additional enhancements like our Romantic Surprise, Colorado Cookout, Private Hot Tub, and Homemade Wine Tastings. With advance notice, we can have quite the experience set up for you when you and your loved one arrives. Your comfort and privacy are our top priorities. We'll always respect your space, ensuring that your sanctuary remains undisturbed throughout your stay. Quaint Cabin

This Quaint Cabin is located on 3 acres of beautiful towering Ponderosa Pines, just 15 minutes East of 1-25, and off of a main road for easy access. The wildlife, blue skies, pines, and fresh mountain air allows the perfect Mountain escape. Enjoy 3 large hiking and biking trails, all within 3 miles from the property. La Foret Conference center is just across the street. If you need simple amenities, a comfortable bed, and a clean space, you will be happy here. Sleeps 2 people comfortably. The Cabin is just 10 feet from our home. While there is no showering facilities, there is hot water. There are showering facilities just 15 minutes away at a local travel center. Hot and cold water, a coffee pot, skillet, fridge, freezer and microwave are in the cabin. Outhouse is located just feet from the cabin. During your stay you may notice the herd of deer that stop by our property. We look forward to hosting you!

Overview

With plenty of green space and a historic downtown, Parker is a charming city on the southeastern edge of Denver and surrounded by hiking, cycling, boating, and camping opportunities. Kids have plenty to do as well—Parker features a water park, trampoline park, and several riding stables right in town. There’s also a huge park for four-legged family members, including five acres of off-leash space and an agility course.

Where to go

Parker Town Center

Downtown Parker is known for its Victorian architecture and family-friendly offerings. The paved Sulphur Gulch Trail takes off right from downtown and connects to several other town trails. In winter, Parker is known for its unique ice trail, one of only a few in the country. It’s more like a winding ice river than an ice rink.

Aurora

Aurora is Denver’s largest suburb, just 25 minutes north of Parker. Along the way, you’ll pass Cherry Creek State Park, a large reservoir open to boating and paddle sports. The park marina has boats to rent and year-round campgrounds, making it one of the best places to tent and RV camp close to Denver. In Aurora, you’ll find several RV parks.

Colorado Springs

At the base of 14,115- foot tall Pikes Peak and just a little over an hour’s drive from Parker, Colorado Springs is a hot spot for outdoor adventure. World-class hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and cycling are all available within minutes of town, and Colorado Springs is home to the Garden of the Gods, a landscape of red rock towers and balanced rocks. Campers will find overnight options near town and in the surrounding national forest.

When to go

With beautiful year-round weather and an abundance of outdoor activities regardless of season, there is really no bad time to visit the Denver suburbs. The best time to visit depends largely on what you want to do. Summer is best for outdoor concerts, hiking, and camping in the mountains. Fall, when the summer crowds have diminished, is wonderful for sightseeing. Winter activities include ice skating, snowshoeing, and skiing.

Know before you go

Parker has grocery stores, department stores, and several chain outdoor stores.
Summer camping reservations fill quickly at Cherry Creek State Park. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance.
Although there’s no camping available at Castlewood Canyon State Park, just south of Parker, it’s a popular spot for hiking and rock climbing.
