Arrivals between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM may be accommodated with prior notice and are subject to a $10 late check-in fee. Due to the nature of our property as a working ranch, and in respect for our animals and fellow guests, we are unable to accommodate any check-ins after 10:00 PM. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM, and for the safety and well-being of all on site, late arrivals beyond this time

Antelope Ridge has a gentle natural incline with stunning views and tall trees. It’s authentic ranch land—imperfect, beautiful, and perfect for real connection to nature. Nestled among trees at the base of a scenic ridge with open field view, this site offers a truly raw and authentic escape to nature. Listen to turkeys settling in for the night. Hear coyotes calling at dusk. If you’re lucky, you might even spot a great horned owl in silent flight or catch sight of an elusive porcupine on its nightly rounds. This is a place to unplug and slow down. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Sit under endless starry skies. Walk the land at your own pace. Breathe deeply. Remember what it means to simply be. Your campsite includes thoughtful amenities for a comfortable stay: ✅ A table and chairs to relax and dine ✅ A hammock for unwinding among the trees ✅ A portable potty with a privacy tent ✅ Access to an indoor bathroom ✅ Fresh, clean well water During your stay, you’re welcome to visit our rescued horses and learn about their role here. A portion of every stay directly supports the ongoing care of these horses and the people they help heal. Don’t forget to check out our add-on experiences to make your stay even more memorable. Please Note: While our sanctuary is nestled on 120 private acres, you may notice a few neighboring homes from certain vantage points. That said, we’ve thoughtfully positioned each campsite to offer as much privacy, peace, and connection to nature as possible. Most guests find the views and surroundings tranquil, with plenty of space to feel secluded and restored. You may hear the peaceful rhythm of ranch life—horses, cows, dogs, and the presence of local wildlife. This land is alive, and we honor every creature who shares it. Pets are welcome, but must remain leashed at ALL times. For the safety of our range animals and your pets, this is a non-negotiable rule. We have mules on the property, and they can cause fatal harm to dogs that enter their space. All guests are required to sign a liability waiver and agree to ranch rules regarding animal interaction and the respectful treatment of all wildlife.

Nestled in whispering Ponderosa pines, our 16-foot boho-style bell tent offers a secluded escape where nature’s soundtrack replaces everyday noise and the scent of sun-warmed pine and butterscotch fills the air. Inside: a cozy queen bed, featuring a new Zinna green tea and active charcoal mattress, with soft cotton linens, warm boho décor, and beds for your pups—because they’re family too. (If more than 2 guests are booked, these will be sleeping bag spaces on the floor.) For comfort and convenience, you’ll also find: • An Anker Solix EverFrost 40L electric cooler for drinks and snacks • An Anker Solix power station to charge phones or laptops • A single-serve Keurig and electric tea kettle with cream, sugar, tea, and coffee • A box fan for warm days Outside: enjoy a hammock for lazy afternoons, private seating with solar lights, and your own propane fire pit—perfect for stargazing nights and cool night air. Wildlife is part of the backdrop here—pronghorn, wild turkeys, coyotes, and vibrant birds. Great spot SE of Denver on a huge property where the sites are very private. Me and the 2 pooches met all the animals and had a wonderful time being out the city. We will be back for sure!

A Must-Visit Spot!
Whispering Pines Glamping Tent
We absolutely LOVED our experience and Candice and George's land and hope to return in the future! The property was beautiful, and I really enjoyed getting to see their rescue horses. The glamping tent was perfect--they thought of every little detail and were extremely hospital. This is a really special spot and we want to continue to support the work they are doing.

Serenity Grove Campsite
Both the dog and I enjoyed the lazy day and the short walk down the road at dusk to see the large congregation of horses. Plus we had a visit from some wild turkeys. I especially appreciated having the private portable-camp-toilet-in-tent not far off. The equipment was very easy to use. I'm at an age where nature can call at all hours day and night: so this made the stay especially comfortable and worry-free.

My friend and I had a wonderful time staying at Candice and George’s land! The campsite was beautiful and they were the best hosts:) it was so nice to meet all the animals / learn more about their rescued animals. Make sure to ask Candice about the extra poney/donkey experience it was so worth it!! And all the proceeds go to helping the animals :)

The Oerfect
Whispering Pines Glamping Tent
Candice and George thought of everything. This site was lovely and so cozy. Adding on the chance to meet the herd was the absolute cherry on top- we’re now so invested in this place, we want to come back and volunteer! Their land is beautiful, the animals are sweet, and they even treated our pup like their own, offering to take her on a walk while we met the less dog-friendly mules. This was exactly the getaway we needed. I was so relaxed that I even fell asleep one afternoon while reading in the hammock. My boyfriend and I came home feeling so full of gratitude, and my pup came home exhausted from all the fun new sights & smells. I truly can’t say enough great things about Candice & George and their wonderful home!

We loved our stay! Candice met us at the gate and escorted us to our site. We also upgraded and got the kombucha which was delicious. The site was clean and well equipped with chairs, hammock, and a bathroom setup. We car camped at the designated parking area near the site and it was lovely. We also got to meet some of the animals on the property. It was well organized and the antelope ridge is far enough from the other sites to not be bothersome. Great if you are looking to get away without venturing on 1-70 into the mountains.

Gorgeous views from Serenity in the Pines looking over meadows. Cute picnic table a big help. So Many turkeys! Hosts were huge help when wind grabbed my tent, (very available!). Super Clean /stocked above ground tented toilet. Ability to use dumpster on exit a rarity!

A wonderful stay. The glamping site was peaceful and beautifully set up, with horses grazing nearby and plenty of other wildlife to watch. It was the perfect place to unwind, relax, and enjoy nature. Would definitely come back.

host George took care of us on arrival and was very kind and thoughtful. host Candice was very communicative and sweet via text. i highly recommend their offering of kombucha. serenity grove is nestled in tall ponderosa pine trees so you get plenty of shade and amazing smells. the campsite was clean and just beautiful. there are a lot of low to the ground cactus in the area but not on any of the paths. it is also the furthest from the rest of the campsites and horses. it’s a short walk to visit the sweet horses and lots of wildlife in the area, too. the cows mooing did keep me up some nights so bring ear plugs if you’re not used to that. there’s lots to do in the area especially since it’s between denver and colorado springs. we felt safe to leave our belongings while we adventured for the day. i’d absolutely stay here again!

Candice and George were amazing hosts. The property is stunning. The horses were so fun to visit and camp near. The campsite had perfect views on every direction. I highly recommend checking out this site. You will not be disappointed!!

What a beautiful place. Candice and George were welcoming hosts and have thoughtfully made the campsites private and serene. Having a hammock, table, and chairs made for a nice setup, along with the bathroom tent. Loved taking in the sunrises and especially the sunsets. The horses bring a special healing energy and lay the backdrop for a peaceful stay. Enjoyed seeing the turkeys in the field, hearing the coyotes in the distance at night, and waking up to the sounds of owls. Make sure to try their kombucha ~ it is delicious!!

Lovely, lovely, lovely! Came out here to view the meteor shower and though I got my dates wrong on the shower, I definitely did right picking Antelope Ridge. Splendid piece of property close enough to town to easily get to and far enough to be away from much light. The rolling grasslands , treed coves and privacy were all I could hope for. Hosts were communicative and ready to help. Camping spot was tucked away and made hammock swinging a breeze. Walking between the paddocks and horse pasture was like therapy. Sunset and sunrise were gorgeous. Order the add-on kombucha, it’s yummy. 10/10 recommend.

Such a great experience! I took my kids for a one night camping trip here and will definitely be back! From arrival, Candice and George were friendly and welcoming, greeting us with kombucha and watermelon. The property is beautiful and the campground felt secluded even though not far from the city. We loved greeting all the animals and my kids fell in love with a few in particular! This place operates on donations, and all proceeds go to feed the animals there; who were all rescued from less than ideal situations! Tell all your friends and go!! You won’t be disappointed!

This was my first solo camping experience with my dog and I absolutely loved it! The landscape is beautiful and there’s a peaceful atmosphere for you to just be. It truly is a place of healing and reflection. I enjoyed greeting the horses and adored their presence. Candice was amazing at giving the run down of the place and showing me all I needed to know for my stay. The campsite was perfect and I appreciated the provided amenities. Candice and George are stewarding a very special place. I’m already looking forward to planning my next visit!!

We absolutely loved camping at Candice and George’s sanctuary! It was cozy, peaceful, and the open fields were so serene. When we arrived we were gifted some farm-fresh eggs, and in the morning we strolled around and spent time with their lovely horses. It was totally idyllic and we can’t recommend it enough. 100% good for the soul!

I was hopeful that this site would provide a comfortable place to rest for the weekend while I was in the area, and it was that and so much more! First off, the land is stunning with beautiful views and plenty of privacy and separation between campsites. I also loved the animal sanctuary aspect of this setting— I found a lot of fun and meaning in taking morning and evening walks down the road to see the many animals who Candice and George rescued and gave a lifelong home. And last but certainly not least, Candice and George were kind and generous hosts. They put genuine care into ensuring I felt welcome and comfortable, were easy and responsive to work with regarding logistics, and even gifted me fresh eggs from their farm upon my arrival. I highly recommend Candice and George and their Hipcamp sites, and would certainly return in the future when I’m in the area. Thank you again Candice and George for sharing your beautiful space!

We had the best camping experience with our 10 year old daughter. We loved meeting all the beautiful horses and (other residents). Sites are perfectly spaced and feel truly private. Candice and George made us feel very welcomed. Glamp tent was so worthwhile for an effortless and comfortable experience. Turkeys roosted in the trees right above us and Coyotes woke us at 3am. Our daughter was thrilled! So very cool! Such an awesome alternative than driving to the mountains! We'll be back!

This was such a serene and perfect spot. Level ground with lots of shade and plenty of solitude. The horses were sooooooo sweet and many other birds and wildlife visited the camp throughout my time there. Highly recommend!

Overall we loved our trip here and plan to return. Our site was tucked away and felt private. There was obvious care taken to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The animals on site were beautiful; we also saw several turkeys and a pronghorn. We really appreciate the mission of Candice and George's land - it's easy to tell they put their hearts into it all.

Camping here was amazing! Candice and George were so kind, generous, welcoming, and accommodating, and the campsite was in a perfect location with some tree coverage and a provided picnic table. An awesome bonus of this site is getting to wake up to the sunrise and walk over to see 95+ beautiful horses...all while contributing to a great cause. We felt safe and happy here and are so grateful they shared their beautiful space with us!

We loved staying here!! Candice and the volunteers on the farm are wonderful people! We camped in a tent on the property with plenty of privacy provided by trees and away from their house and the animals. We were allowed to walk around and look at all of the pastures, as well as pet any of the animals. All of the animals were calm and kind, if they wanted to be pet they would come up to you at the fence. This was an awesome experience for us and I would recommend staying here in a heartbeat!!
