We have well water feeding a solar shower (only hot when the sun shines) and sink (non potable unless you have a filter).
Well behaved dogs under voice control are welcome off-leash. If you find your dog to be problematic, please keep them on-leash. We have a sweet, old dog who is always off-leash. The chickens free range during the day, so please mind your dog. There is a 3-figure dead or injured chicken fee.

Relax on the couch or outside in your private sitting area that looks into the national forest. Electricity, wi-fi, and heat included. The tiny house can sleep 4, although may be better suited to 2 if you don't want to be rubbing elbows.
The Property:
The tiny house is parked nearby the main house on the property where we live. We are at the dead end of the road, and the property abuts National Forest with trails for miles and incredible views of nearby peaks. We have two dogs who you may hear occasionally, but who live in their own fenced yard attached to the main house. Though we live on the property, the tiny house is your own private space and we'll respect your privacy during your stay. Neighboring houses are visible from the property in one direction. The other direction all that can be seen is trees, mountains and sky. There is space to pitch a tent next to the tiny house for additional hipcampers.
Please note, we sit at about 8600' elevation which means in the summer you can enjoy a good 10-15 degree temperature drop from the flatlands. Ahhh.
In the winter, it will also typically be colder and snowier.
Be prepared for the altitude and be sure to hydrate (and consider drinking less alcohol than you normally tolerate) so you can remain healthy and enjoy your stay.

There are easy trails on property along the lush stream (the original riverbed of the Middle Saint Vrain Stream), fishing or swimming in the pond (no lifeguard on duty), or challenging trails into Roosevelt National Forest from the property. (Ask Hiker Dot for guidance.) Several National Forest access points, where you can enjoy peaceful walks away from crowds, are a short drive.

Bliss Canyon is a spur off of breathtaking, picturesque South Saint Vrain Canyon. Stroll on over to the South or Middle for renowned fly fishing. For climbers, there are over 50 climbs in South Saint Vrain Canyon!
Dark Skies:
If you like to watch the stars and meteor showers, Bliss Canyon is blessed with dark skies with little light from the plains. Bring your telescopes and explore the Universe.
Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the five Crown Jewels of the National Park Service, is nearby. The closest trailhead in RMNP is 10 miles, the next trailhead at Wild Basin entrance to the park is 13 miles, and the Beaver Meadows entrance (main entrance) is 36 miles. Rocky Mountain National Park has breathtaking drives, easy strolls with interpretive signs, and 360 miles of trails. (Advance reservation required for entry 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for main park, or 5:00 am to 6:00 pm for Bear Lake corridor.)
Indian Peaks Wilderness also has several nearby access points and trailheads. Ask Dot for details.
The charming town of Lyons is 20 minutes away with coffee shops, restaurants, bars, lots of great live music, and quaint shops. Also, Spirit Hound Distillery received the award for the #1, Best Whiskey in the World in 2022, hmmm, it might be worth a tasting!
Due to our popularity reservations often fill up quickly. We suggest you make your reservations in advance especially if you have a group to rent the entire camp. At times there are last minute cancelations which allows for last minute openings.

Welcome to Camp Wilder! We are an off-the-beaten-path camp offering peace and solitude.
The cabin is very special to my family and me. It was passed down as a mining claim from my grandmother who founded it in the '60s. The vision for the land was simply perfect.
A small 10 x 10 cabin with the whole mountain to explore and whoever they wished to bring with them.
The town of Nederland is 10 minutes down the road where you can fish at Baker Reservoir. Lots of fun little stores in town to keep the family busy.
Wildlife is everywhere up by the cabin/campsite, always remember don't leave food lying around with lots of great things to look for around the magical town of Nederland.
The cabin sleeps up to 8 with the futon downstairs being very comfortable and 3" foam upstairs in the loft for more sleeping area. Bring your sleeping bags to stay cozy at night. There are lanterns inside to light up your night with a wood stove to keep you warm at night. The ground around it is sloped so you may have a hard time setting up any tents around the cabin.
The grocery store is in Nederland where you can buy food, Coleman green propane bottles, gallon jugs of water and wood. There is a 3 burner Coleman, stove to cook on with limited pots & pans as well as silverware.
Road disclaimer, the road to the cabin is one lane dirt road. The drive up to the cabin is pretty good but the turn onto the single dirt road to the cabin has a slight dip, if you have a low-clearance car it may bottom out when you are turning so be careful.
No Trailers. They will not be able to turn around once there.
Recommend vehicles with AWD. Go 3.4 miles up Caribou road. Turn right @ yellow stakes go .4 miles. Park on the left. Hike down to the cabin between yellow stakes.

Our Mission
Camp ACA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to breaking barriers in the outdoors for youth and individuals with disabilities. Funds from camping and events directly support accessibility, education, and underserved communities.

You’ll also meet our friendly resident goats 🐐 and dogs 🐕, who are part of daily life at camp. Wildlife sightings are common, including moose, bears, and elk.
Firewood is provided at no extra cost, and a communal BBQ area, with picnic tables are available.
Bear boxes on site, compliments CPW.
RVs or campers: Please call ahead to make sure your vehicle will fit!
Camp ACA is also a unique venue for small group events of up to 25 people, including family reunions, intimate weddings, retreats, workshops, offering a private, scenic setting surrounded by nature.
Our driveway is the gateway to Yankee Hill, the largest Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) area in the Front Range, with endless opportunities for hiking, exploring, and responsible off-road recreation.
🌲 Arrive empty-handed and still camp. We offer a donation based Gear Library including Paddleboard's, kayaks, tents, sleeping bags.
🚣 A private lake is just 10 minutes away, perfect for a quiet escape into nature.
We’re also only 15 minutes from the Argo Mine / Mighty Argo, the historic Idaho Springs gondola, and numerous mountain hiking trails.

Welcome to our charming 2-acre meadow nestled in East Boulder. Just minutes from town - near bike trails, shops and restaurants. A great pitstop on your way to or from the mountains - or base camp for the adventures in Front Range. We aren't fancy, but we are convenient, cozy and safe. Gate code will be provided 48 hours before arrival.
We have spots in the wide open meadow for Tents, Motorhomes, Vans, Trailers, and Rooftop setups. The grounds are a bit sloped but we've got leveling boards (please leave them behind).
We've got Boulder's best eggs (help yourself up at the coop), a few walking paths through tall wild grasses, a campfire ring, solar shower, small sink, gas grill, and a lovely porta-jon that’s cleaned weekly.
We can handle RVs up to 45 feet - truck and trailer. It’s a big field, but a narrow, winding and steep gravel ramp to get in and out.
We have a community fire pit; your own firewood is recommended. If it's windy, please skip the fire... the BFD is very strict about this!!
We have well water feeding a solar shower (only hot when the sun shines) and sink (non potable unless you have a filter).
Well behaved dogs under voice control are welcome off-leash. If you find your dog to be problematic, please keep them on-leash. We have a sweet, old dog who is always off-leash. The chickens free range during the day, so please mind your dog. There is a 3-figure dead or injured chicken fee.

A-Lodge Boulder is a 30 room lodge just 2 miles above downtown Boulder, Colorado. We are located in a wilderness area of Boulder Canyon, right at the junction with Fourmile Canyon. We have three #vanlife sites and four tentsites for offer on Hipcamp.
We have a BRAND NEW barrel sauna, hot tub, grills, seasonal pool (Memorial Day to Labor Day), meeting space, outdoor beer garden, bathrooms and showers for campers and a wonderful trail to Betasso Preserve right from your campsite. The Fourmile Creek runs through our property along our large lawn area. Great views and you might see bear, deer, elk, moose, foxes, or even a mountain lion!
Walk-in sites are just a short hike, about 100 feet, on an unmanicured trail to our platforms. We provide the platform for your tent as well as access to all of our lodge's amenities; front desk, lobby, bar & beer garden, fire pits, grills, bathrooms, shower, outdoor common areas, free wifi, etc.
A-Lodge has a 7-day non-refundable cancellation policy. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival, 50% of the total is non-refundable.

This site is on an 1889 Homestead property located West of Denver and East of Golden. The camping space is a 1/3 acre field adjacent to a barn and barn-yard with goats and chickens who love to interact with people. It is 15 minutes from Red Rocks park / amphitheater and walking/biking distance to two scenic lakes/parks (Sloans lake and Crown Hill). There are multiple neighborhood restaurants, bars and a beer garden also in walking and biking distance in the communities of Edgewater, Wheat Ridge, Lakewood and Denver. You can also walk across the street to a bus stop which will take you to East to downtown Denver, West to Golden, connects with the Light rail, airport and points in between. Popular Sloans Lake park is 12 blocks away and quieter Crown Hill Lake/Park is about 20 blocks away. We have free WiFi, basic 15 amp electric service (no a/c or space heaters) and unlimited free fresh water on a fill-your-tank basis. We offer a monthly rate with a 40% discount for $700!

Weekend Trip to Rocky Mountain Glamping
Great stay! Very responsive hosts. Thoughtful touches throughout including lights in the outdoor kitchen and in the tent. The private port-a-potty was the cleanest I have ever experienced…it actually smelled good!!! River is just a short walk from camp. The site is right off the highway so you can hear vehicles from time to time but being surrounded in the mountains we barely noticed. We will definitely be back.

I stayed at the beehive cabin. This cabin is beautifully maintained. Wood fireplace, drinking water, stove, snack and drinks, pots, mugs and utensils were all provided. The place is quiet and clean. The owner, Sarah, showed us everything when we came and made sure that we have everything we need. I would recommend this place to my friends.

A Perfect, Peaceful Getaway – Can't Wait to Return!
This place was absolutely perfect! Quiet, peaceful, and exactly what I was hoping for. Leaf was a fantastic host and made the experience even better. The night sky was absolutely amazing, and sitting around the communal fire added something really special to the whole experience. It's the kind of place where you can truly relax, unplug, and appreciate being outdoors. I couldn't have asked for a better stay, and the communal atmosphere makes it even more worth coming back. I'll definitely be returning and highly recommend People of the Honey to anyone looking for a memorable camping experience!

Weekend Trip to Gold Nugget Tree House + Cabin
We had an amazing time, from the drive up to Gold Hill, the entire stay, and seeing the beautiful town and scenery leaving. It is so peaceful! We loved the location, how quiet it is. We were greeted by this beautiful bird outside the window as we arrived. The locals are so nice and we enjoyed chatting with them and learning some town history. The general store and the inn are great little places to! Highly recommend, 10/10! We will definitely be coming to stay again!

Had such a great stay! Cleanest port-a-potty I’ve ever used. Felt very safe there as a solo female. Patrick and Brooke were both so kind. Very easy to get into town and trails. I hiked the Mt. Sanitas trail they recommended and it was stellar. Don’t sleep on Boulder Chicken Ranch, such a great value for the price!
