Welcome to our charming 2-acre meadow nestled in East Boulder. Just minutes from town - near bike trails, shops and restaurants. A great pitstop on your way to or from the mountains - or base camp for the adventures in Front Range. We aren't fancy, but we are convenient, cozy and safe. Gate code will be provided 48 hours before arrival.
We have spots in the wide open meadow for Tents, Motorhomes, Vans, Trailers, and Rooftop setups. The grounds are a bit sloped but we've got leveling boards (please leave them behind).
We've got the world's best eggs, a few walking paths through tall wild grasses, a campfire ring, solar shower, small sink, and a lovely porta-jon.
We can handle RVs up to 45 feet - truck and trailer. It’s a big field, but a narrow, winding and steep gravel ramp to get in and out.
We have a community fire pit with free burn wood, though the big logs are few and far between; your own firewood is recommended - as well as an ax or saw. If it's windy, please skip the fire... the BFD is very strict about this!!
We have well water feeding a solar shower (only hot when the sun shines) and sink (non potable unless you have a filter).
We have a wading / dog pool continually refreshed from the creek. It’s a saving grace in the summertime. - CLOSED UNTIL THE SUMMER
Please help yourself to eggs up at the coop - look for the Venmo QR. The chickens free range during the day, so please MIND YOUR DOG.

We are RVers and love to stay in quiet, away from traffic, places; we thought others might as well so we decided to share our property.

Private, semi rural property of 1 plus acre to house your RV while traveling or availing local activities; there is a home on the property. Close to Boulder CO and other towns, easy access and quiet place to stay that is not an RV park.
RV must be self contained with a toilet. We do NOT provide septic of any kind.
Generators may not be used, however we can supply 30 amp for a small fee during hot summer months. Pets must be leashed and waste picked up. No more than 2 pets per unit. We do not allow generators as we provide power for hot times.

A camp stove is available for outdoor use. The camp stove and the propane heater both use 1 lb propane canisters, so feel free to bring your own fuel to cook and keep you warm. A can of propane is always available for your use of the stove.
* A note to novice campers and regular hotel patrons: Though you are in a shelter, you are still exposed to the elements. The treehouse is not insulated. Wind, bugs, and critters may all be a part of the variable treehouse experience mother nature has planned for you. If you are not comfortable camping, getting dirty, swatting flies, being too hot, being too cold, hearing the noises of animals at night, waking up to the sound of magpies, and who knows what else, this experience may not be for you.

There are easy trails on property along the lush stream (the original riverbed of the Middle Saint Vrain Stream), fishing or swimming in the pond (no lifeguard on duty), or challenging trails into Roosevelt National Forest from the property. (Ask Hiker Dot for guidance.) Several National Forest access points, where you can enjoy peaceful walks away from crowds, are a short drive.

Bliss Canyon is a spur off of breathtaking, picturesque South Saint Vrain Canyon. Stroll on over to the South or Middle for renowned fly fishing. For climbers, there are over 50 climbs in South Saint Vrain Canyon!
Dark Skies:
If you like to watch the stars and meteor showers, Bliss Canyon is blessed with dark skies with little light from the plains. Bring your telescopes and explore the Universe.
Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the five Crown Jewels of the National Park Service, is nearby. The closest trailhead in RMNP is 10 miles, the next trailhead at Wild Basin entrance to the park is 13 miles, and the Beaver Meadows entrance (main entrance) is 36 miles. Rocky Mountain National Park has breathtaking drives, easy strolls with interpretive signs, and 360 miles of trails. (Advance reservation required for entry 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for main park, or 5:00 am to 6:00 pm for Bear Lake corridor.)
Indian Peaks Wilderness also has several nearby access points and trailheads. Ask Dot for details.
The charming town of Lyons is 20 minutes away with coffee shops, restaurants, bars, lots of great live music, and quaint shops. Also, Spirit Hound Distillery received the award for the #1, Best Whiskey in the World in 2022, hmmm, it might be worth a tasting!
Due to our popularity reservations often fill up quickly. We suggest you make your reservations in advance especially if you have a group to rent the entire camp. At times there are last minute cancelations which allows for last minute openings.

Nestled in the back of our property, accessible via a horseshoe-shaped driveway, this dedicated camping spot awaits you. Please note that a 4WD/high clearance vehicle is essential for winter access, and rigs over 25' will not fit. We have a nice long pull-in with full hookups on our one-acre property. This land is the sacred land of the Arapaho tribe. Chief Niwot and his tribe spent winters here. It is a very special place. The location is great, and the place has everything you need for camping. The bathrooms were clean, but I couldn't use the sauna or hot tub, so I can't say anything about those. The office building has a comfy upstairs area that's perfect for chilling out, studying, or working if you need to. All in all, it's a pretty good spot.

The Blue Bear cabin was absolutely gorgeous!! The wood burning stove (with wood chopped to the perfect size by the lad, shout out him) made the cabin so warm! The outhouse was super clean and very convenient. The view from the cabin is absolutely stunning and the quiet of the mountains is wonderful. Thank you so much for hosting us! The Aspenglow is an older camper trailer. It was set up nicely, with AC and heater, and propane oven/stove. The bed was very comfortable. Tiny bathroom with typical RV toilet, exactly as you would expect in a vintage camper. The camper is in the back yard in a residential area with large yards. It's not isolated, but was private and quiet, and there were bunnies and foxes wandering through the yard. The nearby town of Niwot is fun, and there is a major grocery/restaurant area less than fifteen minutes away. Boulder is 20 minutes away. Estes Park is about 40 minutes. Very fun stay.

Tent camping at A-Lodge was great! The platforms are up a short steep trail, and you need to bring cords or ropes to tie into eye-bolts because you can't use stakes. But it works fine! Access to clean toilets and warm showers is great. The coffee in the morning is a bonus! And staying in the lodge during the colder evenings is great!

Amelia has a cute little place to camp in her backyard. The property is sloped, and the spot near the fire pit is the best spot for a camper. We were welcomed by a huge flock of Turkeys that roosted in the trees nearby, and the pre-dawn gobbling was a nice way to wake up. We would definitely stay here again.
