Beautiful spot right on the water! Definitely rustic but a great value for the price and had everything we needed. The owners were very nice! Great privacy for Pioneer Cabin 2. Kids enjoyed walking across the swinging bridge. Beautiful moonlit sky to enjoy the evenings. If you're fussy about linens or cush pillows, bring your own. We were there during a heat wave in late March and it was quite warm in the cabin. The oscillating fan was a lifesaver but it doesn't hit one corner of the beds. If it's peak summer, you may wanna throw in a second one. The coffee pot is a nice touch and fridge and microwave too! Made for a low maintenance quick getaway from the city and a short, scenic drive to Salida. Crucial that it was pet friendly as we love being able to bring our doggos. Would definitely come back. Thanks for having us!

She was a great host and was extremely hospitable. Actually made a mistake in both the wrong day, and she was kind enough to allow me to stay on a separate day than I had originally input on the app. The place was amazing and squeaky clean. I needed to rest, and it was just what I needed. I’m excited to check out some of the other spaces she hosts.

What a lovely 2 nights spent among the trees and sky in Evergreen. The space is so comfortable and relaxing. You wake up to pine trees and delicious coffee in the Chemex. We watched movies on the big screen, made pizzas in the Ooni oven and soaked in the hot tub. The beds were just right and the kitchen had what we needed. We even had a deer family visit us in the snow. The hosts were so nice and great communicators. Highly recommend!

Very private in the cabin! And somehow feels remote, while still being right off the road for exploring! A perfect quiet get away with beautiful starry nights. This was the perfect cabin for a family getaway. We enjoyed all the amenities: the big screen for movies, wood burning stove and hot tub. The bed was comfy and scenery pretty. I personally would have liked a normal coffee pot, but my son liked the drip pot. It was nice to have laundry onsite to wash towels.

What a wonderful visit to the sweetest Cabin imaginable. Hartsell is a darling little town with lots to do within a short drive… Hot Springs, a drive-in, movie theater, great restaurants and outdoor activities. The house was exactly as pictured with wood for the fireplace, a well stocked kitchen, a cozy bed, plenty of extra blankets and pillows, and absolutely stunning views. We had an incredible time and would go back in a heartbeat!

2 nights at Aspen Forest in Evergreen Colorado
What a magical, well cared for place. It was clear the owners thought of every special touch. We stayed in the big cabin on the property. The gorgeous views through the cabin’s endless windows, surrounded by aspens reaching to the sky, the wildlife, the peaceful quiet - all of it made for a fantastic and memorable stay.
