Off leash is fine as long as they don’t chase the horses (and keep in mind that the mules do chase dogs). There is a gas firepit and a gas grill, sitting areas, a port a potty. There is a flat graded area for tents with a picnic table. We ask that there are no fires except for gas (we are still traumatized by the East Troublesome Fire that was 200,000 plus acres. We did not burn here and we’d like to keep it that way. We also ask that there is no loud music because this is the wild animals’ home first, and the antelope and elk have new babies. We are very close to Granby for the grocery store, restaurants, and the Granby Flying Heels Rodeo. We are nearby to the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake, Hot Sulfur Springs Resort, Lake Granby and Fraser/Winter Park and all that Grand County Colorado has to offer. Also close by is Granby Ranch for downhill mountain biking and golf. We are about two hours from Denver. I loved tent camping on Olliander’s land! It was quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful and unique home. The drive there and the drive out was a scenic experience through the mountains, which was a great addition. The chickens and rooster may wake you up in the morning, which was a benefit for me! They were cute and pretty friendly, Would highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Moseying Moose RV Sites
Kim was EXCEPTIONALLY responsive. I requested a very last-minute reservation and I didn’t expect to hear back in the wee hours, but she got back to me right away. Her communications were clear, concise and friendly. (Note that I am NOT advocating late night requests if possible, now that it’s dawned on me that hosts may be disturbed by request notifications). Point is, Kim was VERY accommodating and I can’t recommend this site highly enough for that. As for the site itself, it was very clean and easily accessible. I didn’t quite grasp the layout from the listing, but the 2 sites are basically together, and are at the edge of their cabin property and close to the road in a mountain neighborhood with large lots and scattered homes. I don't mean any of that as a negative, just explaining the site. It was quiet and peaceful, especially as evening fell. What I liked a lot is you can back into site 1 in a way that you have a lovely private nook with a nice clean level spacious gravel site with a small picnic table surrounded by a grove of aspen trees. You can see houses nearby but they are not too close and the areas between are wooded. It rained and the aspen leaves began falling which is one of my favorite things :) I will say for the sake of transparency that because we love privacy and seclusion in general we were grateful that no one was in site 2 nor the cabin due to proximity. It’s not the deep woods but better than crowded campgroundsin my book! RECOMMEND

Kim’s place is magical. It’s quiet & beautiful & the neighbors are very nice. I walked my dogs several times a day & everyone was very friendly & waved hello. Snake Lake (private) is a close walk away & it is beautiful. Dowdy Lake is a 4-minute drive. Plus, the stargazing is wonderful at this site too. Could see the Milky Way one night! Spot 1 is level & tucked amongst the aspen trees. I hope to camp here again one day. Loved our visit.

Olliander’s space was perfect for a quiet, peaceful weekend tent camping spot. They were very easy to communicate with, greeted me upon arrival, and lovely to chat with. The space is well shaded and also has a large open clearing, has parking within 100’ of where I set up my tent, and is within 10 minutes of downtown Nederland and TONS of hiking trails. I would highly recommend a stay at Olliander’s (and the fresh eggs from their chickens).

Weekend Trip to Rollinsville Adventure Camp
My friends and I had site 5 and 6. There’s a slight slope but not bad at all compared to some other campgrounds I’ve been to. Our two dogs loved the area and enjoyed the space as much or more than we did. There are only two picnic tables to share among the 6 sites. This wasn’t an issue for us since we had the place to ourselves. The gas grill was nice to have. There is a shower hooked up to a hose. It’s not potable water but would work for a rinse off if you’ve been hiking all day. The potable water pump wasn’t working while we were there, but I let Ed know so I’m sure he’s on it. Also the little structure area was so nice for late night card games. The lights in there were much better than using our camping lanterns. Overall we really enjoyed it and would probably go back because the dogs enjoyed it so much.

Camping spot in the aspens was real nice, and very quiet! The spot was a couple miles from the Village, and 1/2 mile to the local grocery. Did not meet the owners, unfortunately, as our solar charging was not working well. Had to leave Saturday afternoon, as we were afraid that by Sunday we wouldn’t have enough power to close up and hook up. Red Feather Lakes village reminded me of an old western town, and the surrounding lakes and scenery were beautiful. Highly recommend!!

A-Lodge Boulder is a 30 room lodge just 2 miles above downtown Boulder, Colorado. We are located in a wilderness area of Boulder Canyon, right at the junction with Fourmile Canyon. We have three #vanlife sites and four tentsites for offer on Hipcamp. We have a BRAND NEW barrel sauna, hot tub, grills, seasonal pool (Memorial Day to Labor Day), meeting space, outdoor beer garden, bathrooms and showers for campers and a wonderful trail to Betasso Preserve right from your campsite. The Fourmile Creek runs through our property along our large lawn area. Great views and you might see bear, deer, elk, moose, foxes, or even a mountain lion! Walk-in sites are just a short hike, about 100 feet, on an unmanicured trail to our platforms. We provide the platform for your tent as well as access to all of our lodge's amenities; front desk, lobby, bar & beer garden, fire pits, grills, bathrooms, shower, outdoor common areas, free wifi, etc. A-Lodge has a 7-day non-refundable cancellation policy. We can handle RVs up to 45 feet - truck and trailer. It’s a big field, but a narrow, winding and steep gravel ramp to get in and out. We have a community fire pit with free burn wood, though the big logs are few and far between; your own firewood is recommended - as well as an ax or saw. If it's windy, please skip the fire... the BFD is very strict about this!! We have well water feeding a solar shower (only hot when the sun shines) and sink (non potable unless you have a filter). - CLOSED FOR THE WINTER We have a wading / dog pool continually refreshed from the creek. I just built a new filter!! It’s a saving grace in the summertime. - CLOSED FOR THE WINTER We have a community gas grill - please donate to the propane fund. Dark Skies: If you like to watch the stars and meteor showers, Bliss Canyon is blessed with dark skies with little light from the plains. Bring your telescopes and explore the Universe. Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the five Crown Jewels of the National Park Service, is nearby. The closest trailhead in RMNP is 10 miles, the next trailhead at Wild Basin entrance to the park is 13 miles, and the Beaver Meadows entrance (main entrance) is 36 miles. Rocky Mountain National Park has breathtaking drives, easy strolls with interpretive signs, and 360 miles of trails. Horse ranch and nature conservation area. We have a pond you can float in and horses and mules who live here, as well as elk and pronghorn, and a bear. Dogs are welcome! We love dogs! Off leash is fine as long as they don’t chase the horses (and keep in mind that the mules do chase dogs). There is a gas firepit and a gas grill, sitting areas, a port a potty. There is a flat graded area for tents with a picnic table. We ask that there are no fires except for gas (we are still traumatized by the East Troublesome Fire that was 200,000 plus acres. We did not burn here and we’d like to keep it that way. We also ask that there is no loud music because this is the wild animals’ home first, and the antelope and elk have new babies. We are very close to Granby for the grocery store, restaurants, and the Granby Flying Heels Rodeo. We are nearby to the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake, Hot Sulfur Springs Resort, Lake Granby and Fraser/Winter Park and all that Grand County Colorado has to offer. Also close by is Granby Ranch for downhill mountain biking and golf. We are about two hours from Denver. Come experience wellness in the wild and your home away from home with our open back area perfect for the overnight dry-camp or small camper parking. Ferncliff sits just 20 minutes away from the town of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, known for their rustic mountain charm and incredible hiking/sightseeing. Our property has a couple other cabins within the 2 acres, and the van/camping spot is located in the back of the property. We currently offer only a plot of land/space for the night, we don't have access to running water and have added a Porta potty as well.
