I’ve been torn about leaving this review, not because anything was bad, but I almost want to keep this spot for myself! Eric’s land and camping spot was phenomenal. Great outdoor table, fire pit, and hookups. The amenities by the creek were the icing on the cake! Benches, fishing poles, you name it. This place was great. Eric was a gracious host and checked in with us each day through the app without being intrusive.
The parking spot could be a bit difficult to get into for longer campers or inexperienced drivers. I have a decent amount of experience and it took me a couple of tries.
Quick access to I70 and good food nearby but Eric had everything we could’ve possibly needed at camp. Such a great weekend!

the campsite was exactly as described and we loved the location! only a 15 min drive from the Mish, the portopotty was very clean, and the river was very close to our spot. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

John's place is a perfect little spot. Quiet and peaceful next to a pond. We all camped over a weekend then my husband stayed a few more days while he finished a job in the area. The trailer was perfectly safe if he had to leave during the day. It was the perfect spot for peace and quiet after his work day.

Right by a river, and a road but it was not noisy for us in a camper van. Porta potty on site. General store down the road but does not open until 9am in September so we didn’t get to go. Scenic drive leading up to the site. We had no cell service so prepare ahead of time!

Great spot and great host! John was very welcoming and great with communications. We had a wonderful time as we all got to explore the farm. Highlight was being right across the wooden bridge to the apple orchard! Would definitely camp here again.

First off. Putting low stars beacuse of mosquitoes, for me is ridiculous...
Ok now... this place is absolutely amazing.... I have stayed 4 or 5 times now. Its VERY isolated and PRIVET!
River runs right by you. Yes bugs and mosquitoes, BUT not all the time. Just stayed 4 days and it was fine...
If you want to be close to nature, look no further. Calm. Gas station about 3 miles away. Iv gone with my electric scooter. Clean. Trash avaliable. Portapotry. No electricity. No water. In between hills BUT still get PLENTY of sun.
I LOVE this place, I cant say it enough...

I loved camping on this site with some friends! We had 10 total people and it was the perfect size for our group. Easy to find and only 15 minutes from Lake Estes. The picnic table, trash receptacle, and port a potty made our load light for our one night of camping. Heidi was responsive and detailed, and has a great spot with the river. As far as noise, we only heard a few cars pass by when in our tents that weren’t a real bother, but the sound of the water was peaceful to fall asleep to. Listen to the cinnamon bun advice! We wanted more than 6 buns so we had to order the day before (definitely do!). We enjoyed being right by town to walk to grab any last minute needs. Next time I would love to dine at the bed & breakfast in town for dinner. Overall, Heidi was a superhost for us!

My boyfriend and I picked this spot while in town for a concert at the Mishawaka Theater, and we were so glad we did. The location was beautiful—right by the water with amazing views—and it felt private and peaceful. We didn’t have cell service, but honestly, that was a bonus. It gave us a chance to unplug and really enjoy each other’s company.
The site was easy to find, and while there were some mosquitos (as expected), they weren’t a problem at all with a little bug spray and a Thermacell—we didn’t end up with any bites. You can hear some cars in the distance, but the sound never overpowered the peaceful setting.
All in all, the combination of the scenery, privacy, and convenience made it such a great stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Tucked away private campground right on the water; great view. The site was a great size, we’d love to come back with our kids! Only potential downfall was the proximity to the main road, you could hear/see the lights from cars driving by, but that’s not something we personally minded. Right outside Ft Collins, 25 minutes to Loveland, and an hour to Estes/Rocky Mountain National!

The overall vibe, bubbling creek and proximity to both Rocky Mtn NP and Estes Park were fantastic. We loved our stay and recommend without hesitation for those with campers, as we had. We had no trouble with noise or traffic over a Fri-Mon stay during the very busy July/Aug season. Loved being able to walk to the General Store and the cinnamon rolls are worth the hype.

We loved this spot. Plenty of room to setup camp, park, prep and play. It was private and perfect for our family and pets. The port-o-pot was super clean. It actually smelled fresh. The river water is low and gentle, so perfect for families. Mosquitos were a plenty but the hosts had told us ahead of time so we were prepared. We will be back!
