We are building a labor of love and would love to have like minded folks joining our community by staying in Red Stripe Rhonda on the creek or our cabin on the cliff- The Little B. The 1950's Bellwood trailer could not be more charming with wood paneling, 1950's styling and positioned right overlooking the bridge on the creek. The outdoor heated shower has a view of the creek and a dry toilet. There are several seating areas capturing quaint vignettes of the farm fields, stunning views and produce. My family and I loved camping at Stephanie's Sunrise Campsite. We chose Site 1 from the reviews and it didn't disappoint. It was private and had spectacular views. The bathroom facility was clean and was thoughtfully stocked. We even had a surprise visitor in the morning, a majestic buck exploring. We would love to come back again in the spring.

Madeline's property was so tranquil and just a short drive into town. With views of Pikes Peak and plenty of space to spread out. We discovered we were a bit larger than the recommended RV length, but Madeline and her Mom were so accommodating! The property is peaceful and we could let our dogs off leash, which is a plus. Especially for our furry full-time travelers to stretch their legs. I would highly recommend a stay here!

The pasture site was really nice and had some fantastic sunsets. Our host was very communicative and their partner was helpful as well when we pulled through the wrong gate! The sounds of goats and turkeys was a real treat. The two tips we have: we have would be to make sure to go to the dropped pin provided by the host via HipCamp; we put in the address and went through said wrong gate but the pin is exactly where you need to be. Just give a look ahead going through the field, there are a handful of small cactus but totally manageable if you go slow. We will most definitely utilize this camp again! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Counterpath. The neighborhood was very cute and my husband and I took several walks. There is a coffee shop, breakfast place and a restaurant (I think it was South American cuisine...we did not have an opportunity to eat there, but it looked interesting!) within a couple of blocks. We picked zucchini and apples from the garden and enjoyed them. The location has a food pantry weekly, but it did not interfere with any of our plans. I never met Tim in person, but he was good at communicating via text/hipcamp messaging. I would stay there again.

Weekend Trip to Sunrise Campsites
What a wonderful view! We had site 1 with boulders for my son to climb on. Plenty of space and peaceful (no other campers while we were there). Due to fire ban Stephanie kindly rented us a metal gas fire pit which was waiting for us on our chilly first night. The games to left for us to play were a bonus! Super clean portaloo. Loved listening to the creatures from our tent at night, and the wonderful Castle Rock with Art fair, Challenge hill and Adventure park at Phillip S Miller park were just 20 min or so away and fun!

We loved the quiet and peace while camping in our trailer on Madeline's land.
The views of Pike's Peak and the mountains were very pretty... we were the only campers there for the 2nd and third nights of our stay!... We were only 30 minutes away from Garden of the Gods, which was our destination.... easy to get to from this site. We loved this site. ...Madeline was a responsive host -easy to connect with when we had questions.

A peaceful night sleeping under the big sky of eastern Colorado. The host was very responsive and kind when a few goats got out of the pen. We saw a hawks nest nearby and enjoyed the quiet of the pasture land. One of the neighbors played loud country radio at 1AM but we weren't bothered as we have noise cancelling earbuds. We would recommend bringing these just incase. Otherwise, we felt solitude and reprieve from 3 days of driving on the road.
