This home was the coziest and most relaxing place to stay ever!!! 🥰Such happy and warm vibes all around even staying on a 40 degree weekend!!! The wood burning stove was so amazing and kept the house so warm! There was even firewood available!!! 😇I brought my own but it was awesome there was some extra! Me and my girlfriend cooked some delicious meals in the adorable, spacious, and well stocked kitchen! It was the most amazing birthday getaway and my girlfriend was so pleased as well! Thank you Lauren for hosting such a wonderful and beautiful home to the Hipcamp/ Airbnb community ☺️ we will 100% be back!!! Our little chiweenie, Mabel absolutely loved the home too! She felt right at home and loved to explore the front yard and sit on the cute back porch and sunbathe. Mabel will want to return for another trip as well 🥰🐾💜

Overall great experience! House is very cute/ cozy and easy to access from I-70. Once we got the fire going inside, it was very warm; firewood/lighter fluid was provided. Was pet friendly and the town very quaint. Already planning another longer visit!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property! It was the perfect spot for a getaway with my pups. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and immaculately maintained, and the cabin itself is both charming and full of fun activities. We were lucky enough to have plenty of hummingbird visitors during our stay, and even had a massive bull moose stop by on our last night. T was an incredible host and made sure we had everything we needed. This will definitely be our go-to place to stay whenever we’re in the area!

Staying at Lauren's little Victorian-style house in Silver Plume was a perfect stop on our cross-country trip! The house is clean, cozy and convenient, with a comfy bed (two, actually, but we only slept in one), laundry, TV, and a full kitchen. We chatted with Lauren's partner, who was very warm. Silver Plume is a tiny and beautiful town. We enjoyed walking around and everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. We got some great sandwiches at an excellent local spot called Silver Plume Provisions. Lauren's place, and the town in general, were both dog-friendly, which was important to us. All in all an excellent stay and we will be returning!

Weekend Trip to The Snow Shack at Columbine Creek
This place was great! Humans and animals loved it. One side of the house is a little closer to the neighbor than expected, so dogs definitely had to be on leash since they had a semi free roaming dog as well. But the other side of the house felt secluded and had some great hanging spots. The little creek and walkways around the property were adorable. Water was clear as could be. Kitchen had everything needed, beds were super comfy, and lots of things to do nearby! Love the area overall! We loved the cabin was really nice and big we loved the space was a great nature spot to help unplug from the world and the problems of it. We traveled with are 2 dogs who love have a lot of zoomy energy and they were so good and the space is very open in lay out they didn't have problems playing inside or out without fear of them breaking anything and are one is a big lab we had to look around because some places not letting big dogs stay but this cabin gave us everything we needed home away from home we loved cooking in this kitchen we had a overall blast. The host was so helpful with all are little hiccups we had and was overall so helpful with everything. I definitely am going to recommend this place to anyone that ask my husband and I had so much fun we were so sad when we had to leave.

Horse ranch and nature conservation area. We have a pond you can float in and horses and mules who live here, as well as elk and pronghorn, and a bear. Dogs are welcome! We love dogs! Off leash is fine as long as they don’t chase the horses (and keep in mind that the mules do chase dogs). There is a gas firepit and a gas grill, sitting areas, a port a potty. There is a flat graded area for tents with a picnic table. We ask that there are no fires except for gas (we are still traumatized by the East Troublesome Fire that was 200,000 plus acres. We did not burn here and we’d like to keep it that way. We also ask that there is no loud music because this is the wild animals’ home first, and the antelope and elk have new babies. We are very close to Granby for the grocery store, restaurants, and the Granby Flying Heels Rodeo. We are nearby to the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake, Hot Sulfur Springs Resort, Lake Granby and Fraser/Winter Park and all that Grand County Colorado has to offer. Also close by is Granby Ranch for downhill mountain biking and golf. We are about two hours from Denver. This is the most beautiful and secluded camping experience you will experience in Colorado. There are miles of 4x4 and atv trails. There are countless hiking trails for day and short nature hikes. Above the site sits bristlecone pines that have appeared in ansel adams prints and are absolutely amazing. The sites sit on 160 private acres which borders national forest. There is a small a-frame tent that's insulated with big windows, locking door, skylight, solar for charging electronics, and a full size bed. The cabin is roughly the size of the full size mattress but seems bigger because of the a-frame roof. Its warm and cozy and keeps the critters and animals out, so you feel safe and comfortable. There are lots of amenities on site.  There is a picnic table, 10'x12' waterproof awning and wood deck.  There is a bbq, bear box, huge stone fire pit and bucket toilet. The road into the site was graded last year but still has small potholes typical of a Colorado county road, most low-profile cars will do fine.  If you have a rv or camper, the turn around is limited, no tow behind campers or vehicles over 20'

The common area, houses the sauna, games, washer and dryer, and it’s just basically extra room to spread out. It also includes Wi-Fi and a refrigerator, for bills cabin guests to use. The lodge can be rented as one unit to sleep up to 10 guests. Please note: rates are for two guests only additional guests will be charged Per person per night Or The lodge can also be rented as individual units: Each unit is individually named, has private entrances, and is completely private. There is the Copper Peak, which is a studio. The Williams Peak. and The Byers Peak. The shared areas include the hot tub and sauna which are located in common area. As Colorado's open range law permits ranchers to graze their cattle without borders, you will often find them on the roadways or you may even get caught up in a cattle drive as the ranchers move their cattle from one pasture or paddock to another. Springtime brings all the calves and branding time! Observing the rancher, his horse, and dog working together is a genuine treat. Look along the roadside for sage grouse, in the open fields for pronghorn, down in the willows and streams for the bull moose, in the trees for the mule deer, and on top of the ridge lines for the elk.
