This cabin has the option to add the vintage trailer in the driveway June - October only as an additional space. Does not have electricity, bathroom or heating for $75 per day. Trailer not available other times of the year due to cold night temps.
Vintage 1937 Cabin: larger indoor space 1304 sq. ft. , a rock front patio, Wood stove in living room, open to upstairs loft 2 full beds, private large bedroom with another wood stove w/ queen bed and twin fold out couch, laundry room, enclosed patio with gas bbq, and a charcoal bbq on front patio(you supply your own charcoal)..
Both cabins:

Big falls waterfall is just a short hike away, as well as the trailhead for Vivian creek Trail. Come spend time nestled in the Coulter Pines, oaks, and maple trees.
Your neighbors are raccoons, and bears, property is situated on the edge of the San Bernardino National Forest at the top of the mountain.
You truly feel like you're in the high Sierras just 1.5 hours from Los Angeles. Big Bear Lake is a 45 minute drive away.

Nice place to park your RV or setup a tent.
Truck stop one less than a mile away has showers for $12.00 and hot food, ice and alot of everything food wise.
Alot of mother Earth and the open sky. Two benches by the fire ring. For $8.00 I will bring you good firewood.
Pretty decent dirt road should be ok for most vehicles. If it's raining you probably need a sub or 4x4.
Almost Guarantee you will see a shooting star aka meteor if you look at the sky for 15 minutes.
There are two graded roads on the property for parking, please stay on them. There is no reason to drive your car around the area trampling the vegetation and native growth.
Don't hack down the bushes to use for firewood! Please buy firewood. Keep this place natural. I can bring you some firewood for a price.

Casa zen is a great spot for camping not just for adults but for children as well. Ric has put a great deal of effort and creativity in creating a space that is relaxing, quiet, and still had amenities. My sons enjoyed spending time there and enjoyed seeing the animals Ric has as well. Ric had truly thought through how he wants to share his land and is constantly making improvements based on feedback from campers. I enjoyed my time there and the conversation.

Great place to stop over on my way to Arizona. It’s very peaceful and I felt very safe as a solo female camper. Make sure to survey the area before taking your pets out. There was a very large dog that appeared out of nowhere. My dogs barked at it from inside the van, but it had no interest, so didn’t appear threatening. I only saw it once in the two days I was there. This was my second time camping at this location and I will probably go back in the future.

Site 4 was exactly what we were hoping for. Cold, clear weather with perfect desert nights and wide open skies. The campsite was quiet, clean, and genuinely beautiful, with plenty of space to relax and take it all in. It felt peaceful without feeling too isolated, and everything was well cared for.
